[HELP!] No ROOT method available | Lenovo Vibe K5 Note (Marshmallow) - Lenovo K5 Note Questions & Answers

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note has (Link) been recently released in India and is garnering attention from good number of consumers from India.
However, there is no single working method of unlocking bootloader and rooting Lenovo Vibe K5 Note yet. Nor there is any device specific recovery available. I have googled for this already and could only found methods to root the device that is on LOLLIPOP version and not on MARSHMALLOW.
I appeal for help from developers' community here to come up with a working solution.
Please help with this.

flash recovery and flash SuperSU zip and your device got rooted, but if you guys asking for the one Lenovo K5 Note (MediaTek Helio one) then this is the wrong thread for you guys as it is for Lenovo Vibe K5 (Snapdragon 415,616 ( one.

I am sorry dude, this is the right thread. And I am on the waiting list too. Urge the dev community to take a look at this. It's a very common device, too many users are waiting for the update.

Kingroot doesnt work with this particular model with android marshmallow. Tested.

How to root Lenovo Vibe K5 Note?

I do not find any way to root the android device Lenovo Vibe K5 Note. Framaroot,Kingroot, Kingoroot, poot, PC version of Kingroot all fails. Will it ever be possible to root this device?
I am looking for the same,too..

Its a shame that we don't have a working root method for such a great device.

it gave me lot of IMEI related issues in my network

No Offense, but you cannot suggest to try a different device ROM for another device. It may hard/soft brick the phone .. and recovering from a bricked device is nightmare sometimes.

Is lenovo k8 note stock rom compatible with lenovo vibe k5 note..... As i have seen both have an mediatek processor and mali gpu so i thought their rom's may be compatible..... I desperately need an noughat rom for lenovo vibe k5 note and even CyanogenMod lineage os has ditched this product from creating it's rom.... Please kindly help??

As you said, " they need a device maintainer ". Volunteer for that.
Hello everyone.i would probably be interested of volunteering because i am so disapointed of my phone.it keeps lagging and hanging and i only own this phone for like 5 months so if there was anything i could do to get over all these problems i would be more than happy to volunteer.the only thing i would wish for all lenovo k52e78 users is to be able to enjoy oreo update

First no method available yet to unlock bootloader of your android. Flashing custom rom requires custom recovery and that also not developed yet. Looking for custom rom for your android is far thing. I doubt custom rom also not available for your android.
Why there is no custom rom for lenovo vibe k5 note A7020a48.
it's been a year since its launch still no android upgrade from lenovo nor any custom rom available.
