Brazilian owners received the update last Saturday (September 25th). The size was 166MB.
I have still the May patch level. Free SM-G920F DBT code... almost half a year without a security pach sucks. I get angry, when I see that every few days a new updated rom is released for another country / provider for the same model. I don't understand what is so difficult to release an update for the free version. Neither do I understand why there have to be so many different variants of the S6 anyway....

S6 edge+ also getting September security patch. upgrade is around 160MB.
Just got an update for my SM-G920F DBT in Germany. It seems that my complaining in different forums including Samsung helped .
G920FXXU4DPIO - September Patch Level - ~300MB .. woohoo

What I would really like to know is if there is anything actually new or different in this new update
when compared to the Nougat 7 DPLT which was the first official s7 Edge Nougat 7 firmware?
I know that this new version has some bug fixes & new security patches addressed but is there
anything at all noticeably different which is worth the time, effort, work & hassle of upgrading?
Is there anything like additional options or features which were not included in the previous DPLT
S7 Edge G935F official firmware?
I don't mind updating firmware if there is something actually new and worthwhile in new updates
but simply updating to a new version to get a few unknown bugs fixes and new security patches
is something which I personally think is a total waste of time especially since it's only been about
ten days since we got the official DPLT Nougat 7 S7 Edge firmware.
Please let me know if there is anything special or new in this new
nougat 7 firmware update.
I already googled for an answer but other than bug
fixes and security patches I have not found nothing.

I have a german s7 edge as well.
Flashed the uk nougat rom in order to fix the freezes/crashes.
They still exist though

Yes i can so samsung isnt rolling up the update to dbt phones because nougat has still Problems ( a Vodafone employe toll me that) and basically all the releasing nougat Software Updates are still betas with Bugs. They only do Release carrier Software because samsung hasn't do bother recalls on the s7 and edge Sold by the carrier. We will get the update when it's polished and Bug free. They also State in many Forums that the nougat update especially on Vodafone Germany makes very much Problems. They have to exchange 4 to 6 Devices per Day and the new ones you get from Vodafone Germany are coming with marshmallow preinstalled
Thats what i Got from the Vodafone work er. Dont know If it's fully Truth but it seems truth
Meanwhile the update is available through OTA as well as for download, however, only with security patch of January 2017. The build date is January, 30th thus released without further "polishing" as mentioned before.

I would like to get some help on Android N Roll-out for Galaxy s7 edge,
i bought my device from Dubai UAE thats where am still in but for some reason i got the Indian firmware G935FXXU1BPJJ. When i try to update using OTA it says (The Latest Updates have already been installed Current Version: G935FXXU1BPLB/G935FOJV1BPK2/G93GFXXU1BPJJ).
But all the Websites are reporting that Samsung Rolled out Android N for India (G935FXXU1DQAZ_G935FODD1DQAZ_INS), why is this update not for me? what am i looking for here> how will i find that yes this update version is specifically for my device? will it be named G935FXXU1BPJJ or there will be some change?

Your N910C has the latest/last Security patch (August 2017). Samsung also released an unexpected kernel update in November 2017 (N910F received this in December 2017). The reason you're seeing apparent later updates for other regions is most likely due to them being rubbish at setting them up and releasing them rather than them being a later update version. Samsung seem to have now given up on the Note 4 and the additional bonus kernel update was probably to fix the CPU kernel exploits that were discovered last year.
I could be wrong on this but don't think so.
So couple of days back I received an update on my indian s7 with November 19 security update. I saw on news that s7 got its last update with March 2020 security update. Are all Indian s7's behind in their updates?
