Is it any possible to flash/install this firmware update without root? I've got the brazilian one but still no OTA for my device, keeps saying its latest version is installed.
As far as I understood, these are (br and german) complete systems wih fixes already. You install it as normal ROM.

That is the official firmware, you have to flash the full system (no need to wipe), where is a tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
Ps.: for not wipe the data, don't use the command "fastboot erase userdata"
So my understanding is that there's no method to upgrade to latest version of firmware and flashing only an update.zip containing 14.91.11 update and only to flash the entire rom image.

I will try to do this.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477.. i already downloaded odin and trying to download stock from the Philippines but im afraid to do it.. Do you think it's safe to do this?? My current version is 4.3.. Is it okay to do this with my current version??
Or is there any way update my phone without changing rom..
Download your region rom from sammobile.com. Install "mobile odin pro" in your smartphone. Copy extracted rom tar file to your phone internal storage. Flash it with installed MOD Pro and you will have updated 4.4.2 rom with root privileges.
I had problems with CSC and force closing keyboard after update. But later solved it by flashing again just "cache" with MOD Pro.

I should be save the thread is trusted. Don't forget you can't downgrade so if you're on 4.4.2 you can't go back to 4.3 or lower

Basically yes, Odin on your phone! I've updated to latest firmware via it last night. Just download the latest firmware, extract and save the AP file to phone. Then go to FlashFire and chose Firmware Package, hey presto!

So you have all options required to do what you need within the all such as wipe etc. If flashing any firmware, yes you'll have to reflash xposed. The great thing about the app is that you can put it in a queue to do it all at once so wipe, flash new firmware, flash xposed, done.

Staying stock right now as I'm sure the new update will be here in the uk within the month

Probably a daft question but where can I find a definitive UK update? I've seen a few links on XDA but the information is muddied based on international variations. I'm currently rooted and running xposed v81. I also have FlashFire, which I used to flash the latest xposed. Thanks for any assistance.

If you're trying to install OTA stock or just motorola stock firmware
https://github.com/motoxplay/stock
If you're on a custom rom e.g CyanogenMOD.
Usually if you're on a weekly build such as cm-13.0-20160625-NIGHTLY-lux.zip It should prompt you with an update, if not then go to settings ---> about phone ---> System updates
Other custom roms usually have an update software that can be found somewhere in your apps list.
Also you can't get OTA updates if you're on stock motorola firmware that has been rooted.
Hope this helps you!
If you're on stock rom and rooted just wait for a full stock rom flash file to be available. Then you just need to flash your phone using rsdlite with service.xml selected to keep all your data

Hi guys,
I would like to update my M3 BTV-DL09 from C100B010 to the firmware C100B302.
Now I have some questions:
- is the B302 still a beta build? If yes, does anyone know, when a final build is to be expected for Europe/Germany?
- I removed the updater app (thought I will not need it) and im rooted and Bootloader unlocked, so I cannot install the update.app container at the moment. Solution would be to flash stock Bootloader and then do it again via the secret code menu. Does anyone have the stock bootloader for B010 as flashable zip for TWRP?
I think you can extract files from update.app file, such as stock recovery...
I am on B302 and it seems to be official. At least that's what all pages with update tutorial say.
Only problem that I have is that bluetooth isn't working. I have no idea what to try.

I updated my device to B302 just yesterday using firmware finder and OTA.
I think that for LTE version the latest build is B303 and the update is an official stable build and files are uploaded on official Huawei server.
The C100B302 it a BETA, the newer C100B303 also is a BETA.
All Huawei firmware came from OFFICIAL Huawei servers...
The "updater" app is only required to check for OTA updates. ALL the updates are then installed by the RECOVERY module that is often overwritten by TWRP.
NEVER rewrite flash partitions if you're not knowing what you are doing! Search for a tutorial on Android partitions and read it!!!
No theme app!
I just upstaged my M3 wifi model w09, to the B302 version, its bootloader is locked and not rooted.
The only problem now I have is that I can not use or change themes, bcuz the system Theme app is not available, as if it hasn't been installed!
Any solution now that I'm not rooted?

Yes it was two big files that I forced updated one after another. And yes I have the "system update" in my tablet settings if that's what you mean.
I even re-installed it and tried B301 as well, but the results were the same!

Use Firmware Finder to send Firmware to Huawei Updater. It will flash both files. Dload method did not work for me either, I had same issue.
You need to be on marshmallow to do the proper update.

Good question...i can't find the rollback firmware for US. That is what you need first.
You can find here Marshmallow Firmwares:

Probably BTV-W09C128B003 is what you need. First you need the rollback package from Nougat.

from what I've read, the rollback sets up the system to accept emui 4.1 updates, which are blocked after moving to emui 5.0 a second flash is required with the actual firmware. this is the direct link for the recommended firmware after the rollback.
