Sir i m flash cyanogenmod nighty on my redmi 2 prime and flash supersu zip file through trwp and reboot it then it not rebooting it plays marshmallow logo for hours and hour and i tried to go on recovery its also not opening plzzzz help me sir....for opening of recovery mod
If you can boot fastboot then you can launch recovery
Turn off the device....hold power and both volume buttons(means all buttons present in redmi 2) it will boot into recovery....just wipe dalvik,cache,system,data....then install cm13 zip and reboot....it will load up (like 5min) then complete the setup wizard and there is inbuilt root access in cm13 ( Go to Settings - About device - tap to build number 7times - it will say developer options are available just go back and select developer options scroll down a little there u will find root access tap it and select for apps only and tap yes....voila ur good to go...
Go to recovery by pressing power +volume up+volume down . then flash cm 13 without SuperSU.bcz u don't need super su. Root option is available in developers option.
And if u can't go to recovery then flash miui stock Rom by fastboot.
try fastboot method "fastboot boot"

If you flashed the twrp recovery image from http://xiaomitips.com/guide/how-to-flash-twrp-and-root-redmi-3s/ and cant boot into the recovery using vol down + power ( which is basically fastboot ) or the volume + up ( which is just booting into rom )
To boot into your TWRP Recovery or any other recovery that you've installed
1) Power off your phone ( Don't have any cable connected to it )
2) Volume up + Volume down + power button and hold
3) When you see the Mi Logo appear , Let go of ONLY the power button
4) If you've successfully flashed the twrp image on the recovery, you should be entering twrp mode now.
5) Disable dm-verify from advanced settings.
You're done :good::good::good:
The only reason i made this post was for all the android phones i've used, volume down+power button meant going into recovery mode, and not fastboot mode. this was the first phone with different key mechanics and I thought you guys should know as well
TL;DR? Volume up + volume down + power = Recovery
Volume down + power = Fastboot mode always
Volume up + power / Power button = Normal boot
Great information ??

Your method works not every time. From time to time its different.
Here is what for me works.
WITH OPEN BOOTLOADER
I flashed TWRP with Fastboot
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
>>>directly after flashing<<<
1.) Push Vol+ and Vol- and Power at the same time
2.) If you see the MI-Logo release ONLY the Powerbutton and wait
3.) With a little bit luck you are now entering TWRP
4.) If not, do not release Vol+ and Vol-, the Devicescreen went totally black
5.) Do not release Vol+ and Vol- and push now the Power Button
6.) If you see the MI-Logo release ONLY the Powerbutton and wait
7.) Then TWRP starts (for me)
8.) A few times i landed into the chinese menue, then push the recovery button, with a little bit luck you arrive TWRP
9.) If nothing helps, and the device starts normally, imho the process changes twrp back into the original recovery -- then flash twrp again and start from Point 1.)
NOTE!! If you enter TWRP the first time go to Advanced Settings and tap on --Disable DM-Verify-- .
After i disabled DM-Verify and flashed the Xiaomi.eu Rom the above worked for me without every time flashing twrp.
I worked 6 hours at this workaround

Glad buddy
Thanks, OP.
Just would like to confirm that disabling DM-Verify option does not make the phone go into Recovery/Bootloader mode via Advanced Power Options menu while the phone is ON.

Hey I have a solution
Its kind of awkward but it worked for me
First download the lolipop update
Download twrp apk from playstore
Open the app and select the device as lenovo yoga
Then reboot and your phone will be stuck on lenovo screen
Then try CMW recovery through minimal adb and fastboot and flash the lollipop ROM you have downloaded then you will get the stock ROM and you can access recovery
It's fine I tried fastboot method which is used for redmi3 thank you
Try this,it's work for me
Press vol up & down ,hold continously,
Then connect to your charger ,(as usually you are charging your battery),remember, don't release your finger from pressing that volume + & -
If battery charging indicator shown ,then press the power button, until you see logo "Team Win"
Now you can release your finger button, and redy for TWRP

Hi,
Im a noob. tried installing the latest lineage 14.01 nightly but twrp gave errors . I did manage to flash viperOS. Now i am unable to access twrp. Typical Power and Vol up buttons leave me stranded at the Mi screen. Nothing happens. I have enabled usb debugging , and advanced restart, and android debugging in dev options. still no change. also tried flashing recovery with command "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.1-0-ido.img" with no change Any assistance would be appreciated.

First of all I think you flash wrong file as our device name is 'land' not 'ido'. Ido is code name of Redmi 3 not of redmi 3s so first download write file from development thread or officials twrp site.
Second after flashing right file press power button +volume up +volume down for recovery in all custom Rom(except miui )

Thanks that worked. i got the correct version and twrp opened and i installed lineage.
however the problem has cropped up again. i cant enter twrp using power + up buttons and it when i do a "adb reboot recovery" in linux it restarts the phone directly into lineage.
i have tried :
- reinstalling twrp with " fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.1-0-land.img" -no change
- Power+ up takes me to mi screen and nothing happens
- reinstalling adb-fastboot
- usb debugging is enabled in lineage

Special Notes:
1. DON'T FORGET TO ENABLE "OEM UNLOCK" (located in Developers options).
2. KNOX will be tripped once you flashed custom binaries to your phone.
(Your warranty may be voided. However this may not affect you if your country forces Samsung to provide hardware warranty regardless of software status.)
3. Samsung Firmware OTA (aka System Updates) will no longer work once you flashed custom binaries.
(You can flash custom ROMs if you want to keep the OS up-to-date.)
WHAT IS TWRP?
Team Win Recovery Project is a custom recovery for Android devices.
It allows you to back up and restore your data, flash custom ROMs to your device, repair broken file systems, and root your device.
How to intall TWRP using ODIN
1) Go to Settings » About phone » and tap “Build number” seven times to enable “Developer options”.
2) Go back to the main Settings page, scroll to bottom and select“Developer options” from there.
3) Under Developer options, look for “Enable OEM unlock”checkbox/toggle and make sure you Check it or turn it ON.
4) Now Boot your Samsung Android device into Download mode.To Do So Follow the steps below
5) Switch off your device.
6) Press and hold “Home + Power + Volume down” buttons for a few seconds until you see a warning screen.
Press Volume Up on the warning screen to accept it and boot into Download mode.
Once your device is in download mode, connect it to the PC with a USB cable. The Odin will automatically detect the device and show an “Added!!” message. If not then your device is not connected properly
7) Now click on the AP tab on Odin window and select the TWRP recovery .tar file that you downloaded for your device.
8) Click the Start button on Odin to start Flashing and wait for it to finish the process.
Once it finished successfully, a pass message on the Odin screen will pop up
Your device will automatically reboot when Odin is done flashing. Now You can disconnect your device.
Done!!! TWRP is now installed on your device

Hello :3 i performed the same steps but it just keeps corrupting my stock/current rom after i flash twrp. Some people face this same problem... What they can do is they can flash back the original samsung rom without the stock recovery, so then the twrp one will be there.

you need to uncheck reboot option from odin, After Pass success message on odin remove cable from your phone then press volume down + home + power off when black screen appears immediately manually boot it to twrp by pressing volume up + Home + Power on and you boot to twrp.

Big thanks to dzkouba!!! W/o your report I'd have probably given up because at the time of trying out your solution I've already spent 20+ hours trying to install TWRP on my SM-C9000 (Hong Kong).
For what it's worth, here are the things you will need to do in order to install TWRP on your SM-C9000:
Unlock the bootloader
Enable "OEM Unlock", which can only be done in version 7 (Nougat) or earlier Miracle Box didn't work for me.
Flash a TWRP version that's tailored for SM-C900F (as dzkouba suggested)
idk why i ported this i just think that will give me the best stable experience ever lol
BASED ON G610F G610FDDS1CTE4 TURKEY VERSION
HOW TO INSTALL
Step 1: you will needing odin becouse you cant install it from your twrp (i tried installing it from twrp and it gaved an kernel error so odin is the best for now)
Step 2: select the recovery file as AP becouse AP contains recovery and others (it only has recovery soo it will not effect your custom rom)
Step 3: Go to options and close auto restart (optional)
Step 4: Reboot your phone to download mode and plug it to your pc
Step 5: Press start
Step 6: If you enabled auto restart; When it restarts press Vol Up and Home button for your recovery. If you didnt enabled auto restart; Press Vol down power and home button to restart your phone. After screen goes black. Press Power Vol Up and Home button
(Btw if you want to go back to normal twrp u can. But you will needing odin again.)
BUGS:
-SD Card updates wont work (why u want to update it anyway u are on custom rom)
-You cant install roms. You have to switch back to ur twrp or other recovery if you want to install roms (its stock thats why u cant),
-Recovery will show it's android 8.1.0 but its not true.( becouse oreo bootloader)
-You tell me
