My phone rooted with MPHS24.49-18-4 update
I notes today only this issue with whatsapp front camera ..
If i tried take selfi video using whatapp camera ..after recording ..video appear upside down( if i hold phone horizontally) and apper left to right (if i hold phone vertically)
This issue only with whatsapp front camera (video only)
Its fine with stock camera no issue
I contact whatsapp but they told me we cant help as ur phone rooted ...
Anyone have this issue ?

So I am facing this weird problem..sometimes when I turn on the came app on my phone...(default HTC one) my camera freezes...YES !! you heard it right...freezes...as in the viewfinder doesnt display the life feed on the screen but instead sticks to the first image that it took when the camera was turned on.
A restart fixes it but I wanna know what is causing it and is there any fix ?
when i open the front camera they show the message the CAMERA FAILED....need ur help....is it a software or hardware problem....
hey guys, having the some camera issue, so Skype works (front camera) , If I launch straight into it after a boot., can't switch to the back camera
I tried factory reset, then I unlocked the BL and put on CM12 , the camera app would open and just hang there , when try to open again it would have camera cannot connect.
Run hardware info from Play Store, it sees both camera fine, this is just the strangest error...

Lately, when I want to use the front camera he appears me as horizontal lines in the picture (it was dark already)

I tried the others apps of camera, like retrica etc... the problem persist especially when is darkness ,but when I pressed by my thumb on the front camera, the lines disappear
and this problem happens to me when there are not a lot of light, and also when I play such clash of kings, or after a large use of youtube
and about the rear camera , my pictures are still blurry, is that the problem is with the lens or the camera back?

Sounds like a hardware problem since you already tried different apps and pressing with your thumb removes the lines.
I am facing frequent issues while using rear camera of my phone. The camera doesn't start at all,, I have to force stop many apps including custom camera app to start the rear camera using shake gesture or directly through any custom camera app like camera 360. I have been facing this issue since start as I bought this phone on launch day in India.. It is made in India phone
