WiFi Calling APKs For AT&T - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

Does anyone know which APKS are required for Wifi Calling on AT&T? I am trying to copy them to my SM-G935F. I installed an AT&T CSC on my phone and have the Wifi Option to select. However, I am missing some apks.

Is there a CWM flashable zip or a .apk of T-mobile's wifi calling app?

I really like the current ROM I'm running, but it doesn't include wifi calling. Is there a way to add the apk or flash something to allow wifi-calling to work? Really want it, but I really want the current ROM I have as well.

Whatsapp install on wifi only, tab!

Anyone managed to install Whatsapp on wifi only tab? Not 3g.
I tried to download Whatsapp from the website ---> not possible.
Tried to install the apk ---> not possible.
If there is any solution, please share with us
Search for "Whatsapp" and you get I got Whatsapp workin' on my WiFi Tab, I guess?!.
This solutions requires you to have a rooted Android phone with Whatsapp installed and a rooted tab 10.1. Other than that, there seems to be no solution for the wifi tab.

how to enable LTE option?

hi,
I currently run FNB8 with OXA CSC, and I don't get LTE option under networks. My provider recently started providing LTE. How do I enable the option>
Thanks!
I've got exactly the same issue and couldn't work it out by myself. Maybe someone here would help us.
there are some models that missing LTE and there is A very easy way to fix this problem, Root the phone, download a file explorer, grant the app root access then go to data/property then delete the file persist.lteon.xml and reboot the phone

HotSpot Fix....requires root

Just got my S7 and I'm on PE1...started on PF2, but had trouble rooting...not sure if it was because it was midnight when I started or I missed a few steps. The process went much better this morning.
Anyway, when I did ##DATA#, hit edit, typed in MSL, APN settings, APN2 LTE internet, my APN type was also grayed out. However, @Soooperstar sent me the hiddenmenu folder with the apk and odex. This may only work on Sprint ROMs and not the U version (feel free to try though).
Get a root explorer and go to system>app . Copy the hiddenmenu folder to someplace on your internal or external storage. Take the contents of the attached Zip and copy them into the system hidden folder. It should replace the old hiddenmenu.apk and oat folder. Permissions should be set correctly. If not, the hiddenmenu.apk and oat>arm64>hiddenmenu.odex should be rw-r-r . The directories should be drwxr-xr-x. But they should be fine if you copy and replace/merge.
Reboot phone
Go to phone app, and type ##DATA# (##3282#). hit Edit, type in MSL, APN settings, APN2 LTE internet, APN type....you should be able to now edit those and add the < ,dun >. You'll have to do it for both...APN2 LTE and APN2 EHRPD. Then go to settings>Hotspot and Tethering> and turn it on.
Someone test this method. 1 of 2 things caused my hotspot to work...I think it was this though. I just received my phone yesterday and it shipped with PE1 and my hotspot didn't work before this and asked me if I wanted a subscription.

Didn't work for me. Both apns were grayed out for me, this let me open them, but everything else was still gray.

Yeah, theory 2 does though. You can edit telephony.db with sqlite. That should work.

i tested both these methods. nope.
i first did the hiddenmenu.apk swap which looked like it just rewrote the APN's in the MSL section but they were still uneditable.
tried to change the apn in the Telephoney.db with sqlite editor and it looked like it changed but they system never saved the settings. still got the Hotspot subscription prompt.
i Tried the Bypass by activating the hotspot and connecting a device before it detects the hotspot is on But it never will stay on and always gives an error message. i did get it to stick once but there was no internet connection when it did.
it was rooted and have since unrooted the phone and deactivated it.

S4 root to fix 4G/LTE issue?

I'm running stock 4.4.2 on my S4, but I can't get 4G/LTE connectivity. When I power it on, it shows 4G for 30 seconds and then goes to H or 3G. Of course I tried my sim with another phone and another sim in my phone, and they all work.
Now I want to do this:
After you have rooted the device completely, go to Google Play and install 'ES file explorer'. Open the app, and press the menu key on the device and you will get a panel to your left on the screen. Scroll down and enable Rootexplorer (you will ask to grant permission by the SuperSU app since you have rooted, so give permission). Now use the search function and find the file with this EXACT name 'persist.radio.lteon' and delete it. Please make sure you are deleting this exact file. Don't delete anything else and end up bricking your device. After deleting restart the phone and that's it! You will have the LTE/WCDMA/GSM option in the network mode once you are booted and you will receive 4G signals if you are in an area with LTE coverage.

I just want to root my phone, do the above and then unroot. What app or method is the easiest to do that?
