If you got root, just freeze or uninstall the apps with Titanium Backup: http://www.guidingtech.com/13523/freeze-uninstall-android-system-apps-titanium-backup/

G901F - root stock 5.0.2 - CF-Auto-Root

Hi,
I hope, I put this into the right forum.
My phone is a S5 LTE Plus (G901F) with the newest original stock firmware from my provider (T-Mobile) installed. Here are the versions:
Android:
5.0.2
Basisband:
G901FXXU1BOE1
Build:
LRX22G.G901FXXU1BPA2
I would like to root it for being able to remove all the apps, that my provider pre-installed in its firmware. And also to get root access. I've already informed me about CF-Auto-Root. It sounds like it should be easy and it would work good. I have some questions due to that:
Can I root my smartphone with the versions I mentioned above? On the CF Auto Root Website it is shown, that Auto Root is based on the Build LRX22G.G901FXXU1BOK2. That seems to be a newer one, that I've installed on my phone at the moment. Could that be a reason for get problems when rooting it? Can i root it on this way?
Or should I use another solution for rooting? If yes, which one?
Does CF-Auto-Root performs a factory reset when running?
Thanks for your replies in advance.

older version of cf autoroot
CF-Auto-Root-kccat6-kccat6xx-smg901f.tar but the one on cf autoroot site works too

have fun
Thanks for your answer. Will the Phone be wiped while rooting?

no root for my phone !!

I'm using grand prime sm-g531h
but I can't find a compatible root file for my version "g531hxxu0apc2"... I've tried the only version available but it fails ... what can I do ?!
This isn't really where you want to post this. You should ask in the device board (section of XDA) specifically tailored to your particular device. This section of XDA is more for a set of applications and a framework which modify devices (xPosed)

I'm currently using firmware aol1 (PC2 is the newest I believe) with root.
Once you update your phone and flash twrp you should be able to flash the latest supersu.zip then installed supersu or superuser from the play store with no issues.
However downgrading to aol1 (the previous build) via Odin and then flashing twrp and supersu.zip will give you root for sure.

First you must get ODIN which is a program from Samsung
GET Odin HERE : 3.10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451
How to use ODIN: http://www.samsungodindownload.com/odin-tutorial/
Second you must get the Marshmallow ODIN files for 4.4.2 Which are as follow....
BL https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=96042739161891602
AP https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=96042739161891890
CP https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=96042739161891603
CSC https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=96042739161891604
Using this will revert you back to the N900AUCUCNC2, OPEN ODIN AND RUN THE FILES ACCORDINGLY
Third, In order to easily root I found KINGOROOT TO BE THE EASIEST.. Make sure you enable USB debugging
http://www.kingoapp.com/
BUT you can Also Use TOWEL ROOT: https://towelroot.com/
Fourth Install Super User from GOOGLE PLAY:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....supersu&hl=en
open it and run it
Fifth, Install Busy Box
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....busybox&hl=en
open it and install it
Sixth, Install Safestrap by transferring the APK from your PC to the device and running it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/devd...ct/dl/?id=7216
Seventh you can pick a Rom from Here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/development
kuddos to @rootedi747 from post http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/help/rooting-att-note-3-lollipop-t3201986
Hi Felix,
Thanks so much for the response. Yep, I came across this to root and go to a custom rom of lollipop, but it seems there isn't a Marshmallow rom available for AT&T note 3 due to a locked bootloader.. :/ sigh

I don't have this variant but, the G900F itself is the easiest S5 variant for Rooting and even unlocking the bootloader.
You should be able to obtain some member guidance within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device and variants.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700073
I do understand why you're asking because, as with many other devices, there's a ton of Guides/Tutorials and i can't even tell which one is the most effective one for this specific variant.
Good Luck!

My way:
1. Install TWRP recovery from PC (chose Odin method): https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys5qualcomm.html (use newest file for SM-G900F: "twrp-3.2.1-0-klte.img.tar")
2. Install latest Magisk from TWRP recovery: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445 (Downloads section)
3. Boot to system and install latest Magisk Manager to manage your root (link the same as at point 2)
