Can't downgrade my nexus 7 ?

I'm currently running CM 11 4.4.2 and I.'m trying to flash an older rom with twrp. The flash always failed and I don't understand why. I have try other 4.3 roms and I get the same results.
On the other side, I have no problem flashing another 4.4.2 rom.
I always wipe before flashing.
Any clue why this is happening to me?

I know that I can flash a google factory image but I would like to just flash another rom with TWRP

bro we already have slimkat rom which is in official android development

Install Xposed, and there you can find module to change it for example for 5x4 home

Twrp

Hi guys ive root my moto x play and after flashed twrp i reboot into recovery and in twrp its asked: twrp can leave tour système partition unmodified.. Will be able to prevent the stock rom from replacing twrp.. What i have to do?? I push on keep read only or i swipe to allow modification?
