Hi.
I am just a newbie here. And I think you can help me to my problem.
I owned a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (SM-T230) and I love to download apps. But my problem is everytime I make changes in my musics, files, etc.(usually in my SD Card) using the new apps I downloaded, there's a pop-up message saying "Unable to modify the contents. This is caused by policy introduced by Google in Android 4.4"
I'm so tired seeing this thing:crying:. I hope you can help me to free my tab from this Policy of Google.
Thankssss in advance..

I just rooted by SGS and I want to delete some of internal/systems app to reclaim some of ROM storage space.
Which apps can be deleted without causing any harm/problem to the device ?
I cant post a link as im a new user. but if you put
"samsung galaxy s remove default apps" in google the first site that come up worked for me.
samsunggalaxysforums[dot]com/showthread.php/124-List-of-default-applications-safe-to-uninstall-on-rooted-Galaxy-S
I've updated my Galaxy Note to ICS via Wi-Fi (official, about 320MB). Aside from a few minor bugs that probably got fixed after a couple of restarts, everything seems fine for now.
One thing that is bothering me - the S Note app is nowhere to be found. Both in-phone update option and Kies on my PC do not offer any other updates, nor I can find it in the Samsung Apps.
Where is my S Note and what should I do? =\
I've got a german Note, and I use it in Russia with Russian localization. Switched it back to German (for just in case) and rebooted - no effect.
Device info:
Android version 4.0.3
Firmware N7000XXLPT
kernel 3.0.15-N7000XXLPY-CL474507
build number (?) IML74K.XXLPY
U need Samsung apps in order get the new smemo app.
Its not part of the Rom.
First time I flashed LPY I got no s-note. Turns out I had too low space in my /data partition (I had less than 200 MB).
I came back to GB, erased a lot of unused apps, until I had more than 500 MB free.
Then, when I reinstalled LPY, got s-note.
Beware that all this flashing might give you superbrick When I did all the above, I didn't know of the bug.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Well, I didn't flash ROM, I updated the device via device info-firmware update
Try connecting to Samsung apps account
Samsung apps account is connected, and I had more than 700mb of system space at the time of update.
I wonder if there's an official way to install the S note or reinstall ICS altogether. Kies doesn't seem to offer such an option
Now that's strange. I was trying to find the gmail app with no success. I thought I wold just download it from Play market, but it said I have it installed, with no button to launch it, only to delete the app. Okay, I chose to delete it, but instead of being gone it became available to launch and the gmail icon appeared among the other applications oO
Maybe my S note is there somewhere, but it cannot be accessed through play market or samsung apps.
Bump.
Anyone knows how to report bugs to Samsung?
Why not just download the apk from this thread?

Ok so at first, i tried signing-in to Samsung account but it keeps on saying "Processing Failed" so i searched around what to do but i tried this: installing a new samsung account apk but unfortunately, i downloaded the latest (beta) and now it keeps on stopping and doesnt work now...
I dont know what to do with this, i just need my data from samsung account but it doesnt let me in..
I tried:
- Updating Galaxy Apps
- Install Samsung Account (Beta)
- Clear Data and Cache
- Search everything I could and most of it are useless and some are unrelated..
All of them does not work so I tried here on XDA maybe someone can help me?

if you got it from APK Mirror, you downloaded a corrupt file. The newest file is corrupt.
Try this Samsung Account file.

Also how big is your enhanced features apk.
Also which rom are you on? You may want to update to a new rom?

Do I have to pay for the root explorer or can i download it apk? And the explorer has different color from your screenshot, what does the app look like? Thanks!
Ok so my main problem now is the "Processing Failed" does anyone know or have a solution for this? ...
Different color because I customized it. see if you can access the system folder.
What rom are you using? You maybe outdated and need to flash a newer one

Its a stock one. Is it necessary to root? I can access to the system folder but there are no other choice on the "Samsung account" unlike yours..

Are you rooted? Stock means you never unlocked the bootloader? What bootloader and modem are you on? Check your about screenshot it and post it.
If i hard reset my phone and create a new account from the start up, would it fix my "Processing Failed" problem? Or just a waste of time and effort?
I'm having the same problem. For no reason I can't log in anymore since today.
I've cleared cache, changed password, removed account,... When I want to add the Samsung account again and use my new log in (with the same e-mailadress) it keeps processing.
Same to me..keeps processing

Yes, I solved it finally!
Go to settings > apps > Galaxy Apps (in my case) > Storage > clear cache/clear data.

Hi everyone, I've had this Redmi note 7 for a couple of years now. In the last few months its software started behaving erratically:
- Settings app doesn't work anymore, it gets stuck as soon as you open it
- No google apps work besides Google chrome (play store even lists possible app updates as: (, , , , , , , , )
- Keyboard doesn't open
- 3/4 of the installed apps behave like settings does
- Connecting it to a PC doesn't allow you to access the phone memory if not through adb
- Every x minutes a message pops up saying that "The security app is not responding"
Because of the points listed above, it became impossible for me to update the OS from settings and try to fix this whatever is happening. After looking online for a bit I found a guide that basically had this steps:
- Download the update.zip from xiaomi website (Done)
- Move the zip file to the root folder of the phone
- Restart the phone and enter recovery mode
- Select the options "Update from update.zip" or something similar
The problem I have with step 2 is that whenever I try to move the zip, it denies permission. Trying to get in as root throws "disabled in production build" error (I guess because the phone is not rooted).
Is there any way to recover this crippled phone? Has any of you ever witnessed anything similar to what is happening to it? Is there a way to update the OS without using apps/settings or root?
If you need additional info just ask and I'll provide.

What about try to do a factory reset from recovery mode?
Hello all, after an exhaustive search I've chosen the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e as my new multimedia laptop. I'm very new to this great tablet and I know from experience that the initial setup is important if i want to avoid ads and unwanted behavior.
I haven't connected this to WiFi yet and I don't plan on adding a Google account. I have NetGuard noroot firewall installed and I aggressively block anything that should not access the internet. I've gone thru the noroot debloating procedure and removed Bixby and the other Samsung apps. But in the status bar I still get the message from Galaxy Setup "App updates are ready".
Should I allow Galaxy Setup to update apps when I connect to WiFi? And can someone please tell me why I'm getting that Galaxy setup message when I've removed the Galaxy apps? Thank you.
As you said, the inital setup is important: Install CrDroid or LOS. Go as light as you can.
