Notification Bar Icons - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

Just rooted my S7 EDGE and noticed after flashing the .TAR, I wiped my device before flashing it, there was a "Tornado" icon by the clock. Any idea what this icon is?

[Q+A] i9505 Gray (debug?) text showing before boot animation

I'm bit stuck with my unrooting. I have i9505, getting sim card removed hardware bug, wanted to remove root so I can hand the phone to warranty repair.
However I cannot seem to get rid of gray text that comes up when booting phone, its the first thing that comes up, even before "i9505 S4" logo on top left of screen. I guess after playing with cm11 or something I enabled this, but I have no idea what it is and how to get rid of it so it looks stock. I reflashed stock rom via odin thinking it will be enough but apparently not. Any ideas?
edit: I played around with other stock roms, after flashing one the text disappeared.

[Q] Dumb mistake with Boot animation

Hi, I attempted to put a custom boot animation on my phone without making backups of the original files, like an idiot, and now my phone boots up to black screens with the AT&T sound still playing, and goes to my lock screen where I can't swipe in until the phone screen times out and I can turn it back on and swipe in normally. I removed the bootsamsung.qmg, the bootsamsunglogo.qmg, and the shutdown.qmg. I am on the stock lollipop OC3 firmware, with root enabled. Does anyone have the original files they can post, and I can replace them, or anyway to get a custom boot animation to work on the OC3 firmware? Thanks in advance!
Wow, I have the exact same problem. I tried to do those mods so I could use regular bootanimation.zips didn't work. Now I need the file located here: "/system/bin/bootanimation"
I'm also on OC3

Very strange Problems after updating to 12.0-YNG1TAS1K0

It was all good till cm11. But, I then I decided to update Yureka to cm12. Updated and then I got another pop-up of incremental update. I did that too.
Now, Main havoc begin. After Updating, I tried to fastboot cwm recovery in it. It was successful but whenever I try to go in recovery, It goes in Cyanogen recovery. Even, I tried that unchecking option in dev options and tried after that, but still it goes into cm recovery every freakin' time.
Addition to this, Home button isn't working , not even on-screen navbar one. Notific bar doesn't pulling down.
Please help! This is being annoying a lot.:crying::crying:

3g icon won't go away

Hello, my phone is GRA-L09 and ever since i upgraded to marshmallow (b321a and b370) i have a persisting 3g icon above the signal, it is replaced by "H" when i turn on mobile data but when it is disabled or i have wifi enabled, it returns back to the 3g icon. This is the same with any theme, i didn't have this issue on lollipop roms or a marshmallow rom based on b354 (i think) in the past before i reverted back to lollipop.
It doesn't seem to have any effect on the phone but i just don't like it haha

Edit: i wiped everything using twrp each time before i flashed the roms, this is what i flashed: boot, recovery, cust, system, i also did a factory reset of the rom after i booted it using stock recovery so everything should be clean.
Switch to the Default theme and check again
Sent from my Huawei P8 using XDA Labs
It doesn't work, i forgot to mention this bug appears as soon as i boot the phone for the first time after a wipe/flash
I got a similar problem a few days ago when manually updating to Marshmallow : 4G icon won't go away, even if mobile data is off.
But so far it doesn't auto connect to 4G, and there is no battery drain. I guess it's just a display bug?
Just did a factory reset, the damn icon is still here nagging me. Won't back done!

Issues with notification panel on Rooted Galaxy S5

I am having an issue with the notification panel ever since I upgraded my phone to Marshmallow. The problem is that when I change the quick settings buttons around, after a short while, it would just reset it's self. I haven't had issues with this while my phone wasn't rooted. I am not using a custom ROM. I did however had to download a ROM from SamMobile because I have soft bricked my phone once or twice. So, all I did to root my phone was to put TWRP on it as a custom recovery and flash SuperSU. Thanks for any help you can give me.
