Hello. So I try to reboot the phone in recovery mode and it goes to the Teamwin logo. It keeps looping and appearing the same screen. It is a cyanogen which I tried to backup and restore to factory (I didnt know that it could happen because it wasnt me who modified the phone). As I have no access to recovery mode, what should I do? I can only access download mode. What should I do? Thanks in advance
download TWRP 3.0.2-1 (or whatever version youre running currently as some NANDs arent cross compatible) and flash it in odin mode. And if the old version doesnt work, then for sure try 3.0.2-1. Id skip 3.0.2-2 as its kinda wonky

I have installed Unofficial CM 13 successfully, but I forgot to root the device, so I go back and flash supersu file and reboot - I think I flashed wrong version for marshmallow. now phone stuck at cm boot animation, I have no recovery, only has access to download mode. I also have no access to phone through adb or fastboot.
I was in the similar situation before, where I was stuck at lg logo, and fix it by flashing stock rom (now I cannot find that thread), but now it tries to boot the rom, seems like a different situation.
What should I do?

just short connectors and flash all partations again.
Here's what happened:
1. flashed wrong twrp version for 8.1 oreo, used correct CF-auto root
- tablet booted to stock recovery screen a few times but i figured it was part of the process so I just rebooted
-ended up getting a failed identification verification
-i know the auto root worked because my warranty is void :silly:
2. reset my tablet from the failed verification screen
-eventually got myself to a blue erasing screen loop
-flashed twrp again and got myself to a point where booting into recovery resulted in glitchy lines
3. attempted to factory reset from reboot with adp
-not sure if it worked tbh
-also tried to reboot to recovery screen and that didn't really do anything
4. found and installed the proper version of twrp (3.2.3-4)
-now stuck in feedback loop that occasionally shows the twerp screen so i know something's right
-won't boot to recovery screen but will boot to download page
-doesn't show up in adp devices during this loop
-- have CONTINUOUSLY tried flashing firmware (I've tried 6.0, 7.0?, and 8.1) none of them have worked, sporting some variant of secure check fail (PIT, bootloader, or RADIO)
-- have tried the mod here but it fails after param.bin and i can't use it directly after auto root without rebooting because it gets stuck on setup connection
-- most likely not a hardware problem because i had this tablet for basically a day before i did this to myself
--OEM is unlocked, not that i could change it even if it wasn't
---is there anything that anyone would recommend trying before i take this to geek squad (who may not help me but i'm still going to try) or should i just cry myself to sleep over wasting $300 :crying::crying:

I can boot to download mode but i can't boot to recovery mode after flashing twrp. When I try I just get stuck in a reboot loop, so I can't try to boot to recovery from adp either.

If you can flash twrp then not booting to twrp must be pilot error.
It MUST be done immediately after flashing in odin.
Hi, i have an h-870 model stuck in a twrp loop.
No matter what I do it will boot up in twrp.
I gave it to my dump brother and he managed to wipe the rom off it and now it just boots in twrp, I can't get it to download mode because as soon as I power it of from twrp it just goes into twrp again. Any ideas?
in goes in TRWP, because you don't have ROM installed. Flash rom. or go into download mode. You can get in download mode from TRWP boot loop, just shutdown phone.
I successfully rooted the phone and installed magisk etc. but I want to further and wanna mess around a bit. So I need TWRP to back up my everything. However, whenever I flash TWRP to both slots phone deletes OS or TWRP claims so. Therefore I flash the OS and do all the things over again and the cycle continues. What can be the cause for TWRP deleting OS or saying so. Is it can be caused I flash the wrong TWRP? I used tool all in one to only boot to twrp but it just stucks me in the fastboot logo and nothing happens for long time. I know when flash it it boots in seconds.
And for FTM mode I try to enter the ftm mode but it stucks on boot logo and doesnt bring any chinese characthers again for long time. What can be the cause?
All the helps would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance.
Hello fellow XDA members!
My 6T, has a issue that i cant figure out! Its runs fine, currently on OS 10.3.8
But when i try to load a custom recovery (TWRP, Paint it Black) I enter the command on my pc (fastboot boot twrp.img) It says on my pc that it booted the recovery but on my phone it goes into fastboot mode logo, and stays there for like 10 seconds, and then i get the famous Qualcomm CrashDump Mode. I have restored the phone as per the instructions (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/installing-updating-backup-and-restore-guide-for-op6-6t.4254987/) and the phone restore perfectly, but it wont let me flash a custom recovery to root it. Can someone help please?
Would you specify which version of TWRP you are trying to boot please?

Maybe try official twrp.
Hey, I'm having the same issue. Were you ever able to solve this?
Use this to boot twrp

Use this to boot twrp. Then in twrp advanced menu flash this twrp to make it permanent. Reboot to twrp.
