I am a heavy user I play with my phone all day I will say out of the 15 hours probably 11 hours of screen being used if not more. Watched two movies listened to tune on radio and had a couple of calls. Plus constantly surfing
I'm interested in buying this phone and I the main reason for that is it's battery; So I'm wondering if anyone can share their experience. I currently have the Nexus 4 and I'm far from pleased, I want a phone that can last at least two days on a charge with some basic use (Facebook, Twitter, Internet, any game for 10 minutes, maybe some music for a couple of minutes). Is that possible with the G2?

Probably. The G2's battery life is insane. I get a full day (8am-midnight) with about 30% left over under heavy use. Some people are getting 3-4 days out of light use.
I get between 40-46 hours usually at the minute. Between 5-7 hours screen on time at permanent 60% brightness, and plenty of usage. Don't use facebook app very much at all mind. Lots of email checking, messaging, up to 2 hours of music daily (play music streaming), checking news apps and so on.
I have rooted and deleted/frozen plenty of bloatware, flashed Simple Kernel v5, turned all animations etc off to try and eek out every bit of usage I can though. But honestly, it's an amazing phone, I came from a Nexus 4 too. Some tasteful mods and tweaks and it's even more of a monster.
Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the Huawei Mate 10's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.

To be honest, Mate 10 Pro is the best phone I've had by far and the proof is that I charge it once a day with heavy usage and it lasts for the whole day, not to mention it's all done while using 4G and no Wi-Fi usage!
My mate 10 wifi/4g/gps on... Heavy use 2 days... Don't need to use my laptop anymore. Great phone ?
i was on journey with gps on and wifi on, screen hardly went off. phone survived for just 7 to 8 hours. till it went from 100% to 7%. note that power saving was disabled. It was the heaviest power consumption i did. other wise my phone survives for 24 hours easily in daily use.
hey guys, after march update i am getting a 6.30 hours of SOT is it ok?? or you guys are getting 8 hours of SOT??
I get just five hours.

Depends on what you are doing. I'm getting 5, 5.30 at best SOT with heavy gaming. (1 hour long War Robots)
Its been 2 weeks since I got this phone, the battery life on first week was phenomenal. I easily got 7 hours with games, updating apps etc. I don't know if its because of the software updates or the apps that I downloaded, but I cant get that good battery life anymore
Well, the SOT varies depending on your usage. My SOT ranges from 6 to 10 hours, I remember even getting more than 11, but that time I was only using wifi and mostly browsing the web. Average is 8 hours I'd say but I know this device can go even further beyond that with the right software and usage.
It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 before depleting the battery.

Screen time on the last go at it was good. 48 hours on battery, 10 hours screen time down to 6%.
Screen time included the following, all run in DeX mode
4 hours of Netflix (local content)
2 hours of 1 type of game full screen (semi intensive on graphics)
3 hours of another game, mix of intensive and easy on the graphics
30 min load time and partial screen time for Fortnite
30 min just playing around (Facebook, Web, etc)
I get between 9 and 10 hours SOT over 2 days. Quite good compared to my previous tablet , the Pixel C.
Mine can last up to 4 days with light use .

4 days.
i think this is by far the best battery life for tablet... i used it for light browsing and youtube and 1.5-2 hours of gaming(PUBG-m) before sleep... and it never reaches below 40%
i never bothered to check the screen time..
I have one month with heavy usage 3-6 hours a day and never went below 50%
Fantastic tablet
