Do you want to install a custom rom?
For rooting download kingroot 4.9.6 apk Google it
Launch the app
Android may show that it is not safe to install the app but ignore all that.
Click root and it will root your a6k
It will root it successfully
Download root checker app from play store to confirm successful root
Bow download Rashr app from play store and also download TWRP for a6k(2.8.6.1 for KitKat or 2.8.7.7 for Lollipop)
Extract recovery.img file from TWRP zip and flash it via RASHR, but first backup stock recovery from RASHr.
This will root and successfully install TWRP.
Now tell if you want to install a custom rom or stick with stock rom and I will tell you further instructions! Hit that Thanks button!

Thanks a bunch, it did. However I'm having trouble replacing the chinese SU program with SuperSU. It keeps failing when it tries to update the binary. May I ask if you had the same issue? And also, which custom recovery did you install onto yours? I see that both CWM and TWRP do not support this tab, so I'm a little stumped as to how to proceed.

hey guys, can somebody please help me?
I've been wanting to unroot my phone for a while now, and I finally found some time for it. Except, I have absolutely no idea how to do it. I have the TWRP root installed. Can't access my phone because it crashed when I tried installing Xposed. If somebody could send me some links or just explain it to me straight away that would me great. :good:

If your phone crash after installation of Xposed then you just need try flash via adb the system partition.
To unroot, you have many options:
- Install stock rom
- If root with supersu then you are able to unroot in the app supersu
- if root with magisk you can uninstall via twrp, just look uninstaller in the magisk thread
Hello
Im new here. I just want to ask you how can i root my lg spirit. Everything doesnt work and im newbie. Can you help me please ?
Are you on Marshmallow right now? If yes, you need to go to lolipop, root the phone, unlock the bootloader, flash stock Marshmallow through TWRP and flash a root package like SuperSU.

Now, you can install TWRP app from Playstore and download the latest twrp-3.1.1-0-c70n.img available for us. Then, download Flashify app and flash that .img downloaded.
Thus, you'll have a TWRP installed on your phone, from wich you'll able to flash wathever you want.
I did everything but after flashing v20b and supersu v2.78 i just lost root :/ why ?
but i rooted my phone by kingoroot cuz when i rooted it on kingroot than twrp always leave a message "fail flash"

If TWRP app is not working then try flashify.

Only way to install a custom recovery on your phone is via Odin, manually flash it. You can find a quick tutorial in probably every TWRP tread for Samsung devices, and so you can in the TWRP thread for your device. You flash Magisk in TWRP
Thanks i succesfully rooted my device and installed the twrp look at my new help post thanks
