Themes in 7.0 - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm running a stock 7.0 rom. How do I use themes?

You need [Substratum] app on play store then download the themes..

Need more info than that. Are you unlocked and rooted?

Yea

Busy box?

Sorry you're right... You need root and BusyBox then install substratum from the play store

How to use Xposed and Modules

I will be looking to root and use PA 4.4 rom and was wondering if there is a guide out there for beginners on how to use Xposed and the modules it supports.
Thanks!

Very easy to use. Self explanatory. Just install and choose your mods carefully some do not work with certain versions of android. I am using pa 4.4 and a few mods with no issues.

Any recommendations for LGG2 running PA 4.4 . I replaced a N5 and I want to get the UI as close as possible to the N5

N5 was pretty stock. Running kit Kat. Pa 4.4 is about same really close to stock. I have installed recent ram bar mod. Gravitybox mod which allows you to change status and nav bar settings. Play store fix which allows you to install all play store apps even if they don't support your dpi by tricking it into thinking your phone is running 240 dpi.

Where in the Play Store do you get xposed? I can't find it for the life of me.

Why dont you just flash the img files in twrp ?
I'm on a custom rom?

Go download the full N preview image and flash it then
Never flash someone else's nandroid backup. That is just plain dumb

Flashing U firmware?

Has anyone flashed it? If so, how is your S7e running? I'm about to have my cousin flash it, he works at the Samsung store in Best Buy

Heres my question... WHY... Thats literally probably the supersu installer renamed. Ripping off @Chainfire
It requires you to already have twrp installed. Its pointless.
Its his beta. A click on the link takes you to Chainfire's download.

Oh then All it is is the normal root procedure.
Looks like the root method used on the Sammy Vibrant. Only problem is the lack of a factory recovery. Needs the "reinstall packages" option. Oh well.

7.1.2 beta update with flashfire

Anyone had any luck with this? Prefer not to have to lose root or probably have to restore stock recovery to try the beta.
