No, you just need to flash kernel directly if you are on RR, ED300's CM 12.1 kernel modules is only need for his ed300's cm12.1 ROM and none others

I recently noticed that there is now an unofficial CM 13 for the Galaxy J500f and J500fn.
I am running CM 12.1 (5.1.1) and I was wondering if I could just wipe all data and flash CM 13 like that

Yes, you can. It is mentioned that you need to be on 5.1.1 to be able to flash cm13.

Custom kernel compatible with PixelExperience 11

like the title says, is there any custom kernel thats PixelExperience 11 compatible on the S7 Edge ?
