This is common issue in p8 lite. I had same problem and only solution is give phone back to service and get new I guess.

XXJVS WiFi Fix
but the version 2.3.6 there isnt none, this one made it boot loop
the WiFi bug is fixed in 2.3.6 already... you may have some other issues...
Welll according to the google search i vê done. Many people are having this issue. There is a fix wich darky developed but it bootloops in version 2.3.6

I got the machine already in this way , I believe that is the variation rom a500m and a500m / ds , this second I do not find an original full rom .
Go to sammobile and search in find firmware by typing galaxy a5 and choose you variant .before doing this create an account in sammobile

No, whe (Ale-l21) had to do it manual... this could be the case for you. but as i see it... there's only one software build made available in ecaudor... i'm still searching tho...

so according to the comments on this forum you have to convert them into european version first (should be somewhere in the general section) be carreful!!! i didn't test it myself so it would not work. ask around first before doing that. and make sure you got a restore for when things go wrong

Tried both update.zip of RNE-L22C636B140CUSTC636D001 [OTA] and RNE-L22C636B140CUSTC636D001 from the link above but it fails installing on my Nova 2i.

Hi guys. Here's what i did to save my phone from being a brick. I have a Nova 2i (RNE-L22C636B142) unlocked bootloader, and Huawei people tells me (via email) that you will have problem updating via SD card no matter how and what ROM you are using. That method is only for locked bootloader and untouched as well. Here's the guide i used. They shared TWRP backups of Nova 2i/Mate 10 Lite/Honor 9i from different regions for you to restore to your phone.
So i did this later:
1. Get into Fastboot & Rescue mode (vol down+power button and USB cable to PC)
2. Flash TWRP
3. Flash a different bootloader (Honor 9i)
4. Restore Honor 9i's backup (C675)--don't forget to change the device ID into your device's ID
5. Flashed the camera and sound patch
6. Restart phone

Official Rom for nova 2i r22 is live now
