VERY SIMPLE: IF YOU has unlock bootloader, you must upgraded to OFFICIAL Android M FROM ASUS. HAVE MANY DIRECTIONS ON THE INTERNET FOR THIS WORK.
THEN Downgrade to OFFICIAL Lollipop 5.0
reflash OFFICIAL recovery for android 5.0 from asus
THEN WITH UPGRADED TO ANDROID M via ADB
your Bootloader has been lock:laugh::cyclops:

I have a Zenfone 2 LAser ZE550KL with locked bootloader. Android 5.0 version installed. Not yet upgraded to Marshmallow.
Can we use that official unlock app to unlock bootloader and then upgrade to marshmallow through the OTA?
Is that possible?
the answer is yes but you will do it via manual mode you will not receive any OTA updates
Yes.... ^^
But for everything work well maybe after update,
Factory reset for best run
I have the same question; I have a rooted, unlocked bootloader (unlocked via Unofficial Method in this forum) ZE550KL 5.1 Lollipop. I want to upgrade to Official Stock MM Firmware ? How to do so ?
Hi, I have a ZE550ML with official 6.0, its bootloader has been unlocked and have TWRP 3.0 installed (NOT temporary). Can I flash custom ROM in this state or I have to downgrade to 5.0?
Im currently on stock android marshmallow and I just got nougat update.Im currently rooted with bootloader and twrp installed.Do I have to relock the bootloader or just unroot?
If i use twrp to flash device back from nougat to lollipop (stock), will be any chance in a future to install original updates (OTA?)
No!
How to do it? I have official Nougat. I've unlocked bootloader and installed twrp.
I've tried twrp, but can not find debloated flash rom. Some of guys are making downgrade with fastboot over youtube, but they downgrade back only previous version of android, for example from nougat to marshmallow, or from marchmallow to lollipop.

What will happen, if i try with fastboot way? Will I brick the phone?
I have a G930V running G930VVRU4BRC2. Is it possible to update to the latest firmware, G930VVRUACSF2, via Odin without updating the bootloader too? If not, do i have to stick with the latest in the v4 bootloader, G930VVRS4CRI1? Is there a reason I should not update my bootloader too? Like the ability to downgrade?
Thanks.
Trust me you don't want to update and to awnser your question I'm not sure but I am sure that the firmware itself has the bootloader number so by flashing from RS4 witch is bootloader 4 to RUA witch is bootloader 10 it would be impossible to downgrade just upgrade to a bootloader 7 and lower you should be fine
