i tried to root my phone yesterday but screwed up, now i tried to flash stock rom from sammobile but it gives me this error
Code:
<ID:0/003> __XmitData_Write
<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
<ID:0/003> Removed!!
and i can't get past this....
also when flashing anything, the odin shows up "pass" but the phone will not finish the loading bar whatsoever
i'm really getting clueless since i've been googling for few hours but can't get my phone working again.... i would appreciate any help
UPDATE: flashed twrp but it didn't work, after that i flashed the ROM again and now the flashing process was passed... managed to get to the "installing android updates" logo with 2 cogwheels on green background but it crashes on update 19/24 everytime i get there
Is the stock file from Samsung a 1 or 3 file flash? I found the 3 file ones are better and more reliable.
Failing that try the Samsung recovery program (formally kies)
That saved my edge plus a few months back when I couldn't access recovery.
found out that the cause of the "crash" was very low battery level, the phone now cant stay up even if connected to the charger and won't charge at all..... sometimes i see the battery picture with 0% and the green dot ticking below.... but after few seconds it disappears and the grey battery logo with "lightning" inside it takes the place, indicating that the phone is not charging.... however i'm still able to get into download mode and now trying to charge the phone in the download mode
UPDATE: finally managed to charge the phone and its working.... im so happy

I was actually going to flash a stock lollipop rom from Saudi Arabia this morning but little did I know, I didn't know what are the procedures to manually flash it on odin. So I followed sammobile.com's instructions. I went to download mode in my phone and then I start it. And it showed an error in odin but I have not copied it to be able to distinguish what's really the problem. Being a noob, I unplugged my phone and tried to repeat the procedures but now it won't boot, can't even go to download/recovery mode, vibrates with an interval of 2 seconds and the screen stays black.
1. Am I able to fix this?
2. If yes, can somebody help me.
Edit: My phone was actually rooted 4.4 kitkat
Boot it normally, It'll say something like this "Firmware upgrade failed. Connect to Kies to restore firmware". Leave it like this and connect it to your computer and Open Odin it should say Added! in the white info box. now you can start flashing again the firmware.

Click to collapse
All sorted now (Phew) abd reboot sorted it
Hmmm, so the story begins like this
Once upon a time, there's a happy and curious boy decided to explore youtube with his s8.
And came across a video tutorial on how to root galaxy s8, it specified, only international variant.
So checked his own device, SM-G950F, yes it is the international Exynos variant.
Read through the guide and watched the video several times.
Then attempted flashing TWRP recovery with Odin, ta-dah - FAILED
So the condition of the phone is now:
- Stuck on boot loop (never get pass the samsung galaxy s8 logo screen)
- Gets into downloading mode, but not recovery
- Odin flash keep failing showing:
<ID:005> Initialzation..
<ID:005> FAIL! (DeviceInfo)
Anyone with any suggestion welcome.
Oh yeah, also, the phone does not turn off.
Everytime I try to turn it off, it would restart automatically and stuck on the logo screen.
Cheers no one, problem solved, just keep trying to flash via odin and eventually.... yes i mean - EVENTUALLY it will flash and you're back to normal.
I am currently experiencing the same problem, even Smart Switch Emergency recovery fails.
Obviously your post wasn't answered because no one knows the answer, I will keep trying Odin flash and have the same success as you 'eventually'
It's pretty frustrating that we found ourselves in this predicament, knowing I did everything required to the letter and still end up with a beautiful, expensive paper weight, hopefully not for long.
Fingers crossed
Hi guys, i have a problem. im trying to revive a phone that has crashed, in the begining it just crashed and wouldnt boot other than into download mode.
So i flashed it with the latest firmware, and it did boot up after that. all the way to the part where it was asking for the old google account.
So i put it in my pocket and drove to work caus its my collegues phone so he could log in, but when i took up the phone it had gone into download mode again.
So i took it home and tried to re-flash it, but now it takes ages for odin to start the flashing part. and it gets to the set pit file part and then it fails with "re partition operation failed". ive tried many different firmware and odin versions but no luck.
does anyone have some ideas?
Hello community,
A good friend of mine asked me to support him with his "bricked" Note 4.
I tried now for a few hours (usually im experienced with stuff like that) without any success.
Downloadmode is accessable. Odin (3.09) says most of time 'pass'.
I flashed the following stock roms:
N910FXXU1DRI2_N910FOXA1DRI1_DBT_(Germany) [We are from germany] 1 File.
Odin tells me: pass, Phone reboots in recovery mode, installs a system update, processbar filled half, "earasing", reboot into recovery and display stuck on black after retry to install a system update.
I already tried to debrick - after reflash the PIT file, the Note4 stuck in the Note4 Splashscreen with a blue LED blinking but nothing more happens. [Debrick XDA Thread] (should it?)
I tried also the N910FXXU1ANK4_DBT_4Files Firmware but same behavior (black screen after system update - the phone must turned on since the power button doesnt react - I need to pull of the battery for reboot).
Any hint for me what Im doing wrong? This devices drives me crazy ...
Is the device hardware broken maybe? What do you guys think?
Thank you for reading
Best regards

Have you tried to install a custom recovery instead first?
