As far as I know, there is no free utility that syncs your Notes to your Exchange mail server directly. You have to cradle with your PC and then your PC syncs with Exchange. Or if you are a Smartphone user, you don't have a Notes application at all.
So I wrote an application to sync Notes using the Exchange Web Service.
Enjoy:
http://www.koushikdutta.com/2008/08/day-3-outlook-notes-mobile.html
I've only tested it across a couple different Exchange servers, and people's deployments vary quite differently, so I have no gaurantee that it will work for you! Lots of companies block access to the Exchange Web Service. Good luck!
Nice idea...
Does this sync exsisting notes or only the ones created with your application?
Existing notes (if they are on the Exchange server) will work as well.
Works nicely - few suggestions
1) support for hand drawn notes
2) Support for note sub folders in exchange
3) Auto sync on open/close of app?
4) GUI - would it be possible to replicate a notepad, much like the iPhone (See below)
5) Ability to delete notes from the WM device
Achieve these things and I guarantee everyone will replace windows mobile notes with your app - which in supporting exchange itself is already better than what is installed by default.
Hello,

hi,
you only can use contacts, stored on your phones DB. You have to copy all contacts stored on your SIM to the DB. After doing so, you can select them all.

about contacts.. what resolution must have the pics?
i've set the pics of my old p3600 but the resolutions is not good

Well thanks, all of them are stored in the phone DB. Syncronized them back from mobical.net. Somehow, some contacts can be chosen, some not. Already set up a contact i wanted to have completely new, but without success at the end. Not choseable...
Ok, think I got the bug.
If in the contact is more data then phone numbers, it cannot be added. Like Emailadress or so...
Can someone please confirm this?
Try to add a full contact with address, fax, emailadress, etc, whatever. On my device, it did not work...
solution
If you choose a contact with more than one number, a new menu should appear with all the numbers (and even e-mail addresses) listed.
In that menu, you must not click the ok button, but select one of the numbers from the list.
I have just finished my Wakoopa-panel, made with the HTML-generator. I made it for myself, but maybe it could be of use to somebody else.

What is Wakoopa?
Wakoopa is an online social network that helps people discover the best software, games and web applications on the market. It's the Yellow Pages of software discovery. Sign-up, install a small tracker on your desktop and automatically create your own online software profile that you can share with friends and the world via widgets.
Games, audio & video players, instant messengers or office tools: Wakoopa helps people discover the best desktop and web applications on the market. Software discovery is social again.
Go to www.wakoopa.com for more information.
With this panel you can keep track of your own software you use on your desktop computer and from 3 other persons. After installation you have to edit some files to insert you, or your friends Wakoopa-ID:
Go after installation to the the Wakoopa-Panel directory on your phone (programfiles/panels/Wakoopa-Panel/)
For the first contact you have to edit these files: index.html / contact1new.html / contact1top.html / contact1recent.html
Look for something like " <img src="http://wakoopa.com/patrick/card.png " and replace 'patrick' (or 'blank' by contacts 2-4) with your Wakoopa ID.
For contact 2 you will have to edit contact2.html/ contact2new.html / contact2top.html / contact2recent.html . Contacts 3&4 are similar.
You also have to change the ID's in the file landscape.html
Quick guide:
By tapping on the card you will get more detailed information of that person and you can choose between top10 / most recent / or new programs.
By tapping on the logo you go to a overview-page of the 4 profiles, best watched in landscape-mode.
Looks useful... will give it a whirl later tonight.

I've searched and found nothing on this so if its already been discussed....
I found a way to save your contacts that you currently have on your phone, through your google account, to your SIM card using the Hero Rom. I haven't seen or found a way to do this with any other Android Rom. If someone knows of a way to save contacts to SIM in any of the other Roms, please post it
To save your contacts using the Hero Rom, follow these steps:
1. Tap People (contacts) icon.
2. Scroll to the Contact you want to save to your SIM Card.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3. Tap on your Contact to bring up Contact Information.
4. Click MENU button for option menu and tap More.
5. Here you will see "Save to SIM". Tap it.
6. You will be prompted before saving to SIM.
7. Tap "OK". If your contact name is too long it will automatically be truncated to the maximum allowable size (messages will appear for a couple of seconds stating this and that it was saved to the SIM) and you will then return to your contacts list. At this time it will NOT show that your contact was saved to your SIM, a reboot is required for it to show.
After rebooting scroll back to that contact and you will see that contact sporting a new SIM Card icon showing that your contact is indeed on your SIM Card
note: After doing this your contacts will no longer be synchronized so be sure to check the box by MENU=>Settings=>Data synchronization=>Google=>Contacts to keep your contacts sync'd with google.
I have many contacts with no phone number in my google account, it syncs all of them I could choose to see only contacts with phone number on the stok rom , how do I do that here on hero ?
CEListFiles
From time to time I have the "pleasure" to see my WindowsMobile device struggle with low storage / low main memory. I get that low memory message and have no clue, what caused the problem, which program used the place up or what data files should rather be saved on memory card. Searching for files I can delete on the device itself is painfully slow, especially if I examine the Windows folder and it'S sub-folders. Using ActiveSync and the Explorer on the DesktopPC is better but not efficient too. So I wrote a little tool for myself I want to share with whomever it appeals to use it.

CEListFiles is a tool that displays the device's file/folder structure on your Desktop PC. There are a few special features:
it shows each folders size including all subfolders
it shows ROM files with a little "R" in the icon
it lets you export and import the file/folder structure so you can compare it to a previous state or have the file/folder structure analysed by a more experienced user without need to have access to the device
CEListFiles is easy to use:
connect your device to your DesktopPC via ActiveSync
select the folder you want to examine in the edit field ("/" for the all folders)
click the button bottom left
Attached you find the most recent version CEListFiles 1.5
If you like CEListFiles just buy me a beer.
I'm impressed: great work!
usefull for me too, let's test the speed
