Hello.
I'm from Ukraine and i buy htc 10 verizon, but he's will be factory unlocked and i have some question.
Which custom rooms i can install ?
Can i have some problem with this phone in UKR ?
Also me intresting wich kind of offical update i'll be get( i meen NA,EU)( if i stand in stock room) ?
Sorry for grammar mistake and thank u for unswers
If it's the factory unlocked version, you can install any ROM in the main HTC 10 forums. If you stay on stock you should be able to receive the WWE updates.

Why not get the unlocked non Verizon model? It's not locked to a carrier and gets updates more often.

Right... however.. If you are going to the trouble of having one imported there why not have the truly factory unlocked model imported instead? Why import one with carrier branded OS on it? The factory unlocked model is not carrier branded and is sim unlocked and gets many more updates than verizon does.

I understand you, because this phone I'm buy in Ukraine in some people , it's his business.
Actually I just want to now , how often Verizon is update this device after release of new ROM in EU version ... ?
And if the EU version can get Android 7 N in November/December , when I can get this update ?

No comparing the two. Tell your business man to import the right phones now. No reason anymore to import Verizon phones. Verizon is the slowest to update their phones and often the hardest to s-off. Currently they can be s-off'd but that will likely change with the next update.

One thing is for certain, you will never get a verizon OTA on a non-verizon network. Your carrier will have to provide your OTAs IF and only IF they carry that model phone and you can somehow convert it to that model (not likely at all). If you have the phone already your best bet is to s-off it via sunshine now (your only option of doing custom roms is to s-off). That way you can try other roms which might have better support for your carrier.
I understand that most vendors in your part of the world buy verizon phones because they are sim unlocked from the factory but they need to change their orders to the actual unlocked non-carrier phone. Those phones get OTA directly from HTC. No carrier involvement.
Sorry if this doesn't help you get what you want.

doubtful without a verizon sim in the phone. HTC sync usually doesn't update phones that don't have a verizon sim in them. You could flash the posted RUU's to update your phone manually.. but you definitely want to make sure you s-off that thing first as there's no going back after upgrading unless s-off

Well hey.. if it works in your country.. then take a chance. Just make sure you s-off that thing immediately so you can always flash whatever you want. We cannot unlock the bootloader via htc-dev so you don't have any other option.
Also, as this is the verizon specific section, you will likely find no real support here for what you are doing with a verizon model phone. Our rom devs are verizon carrier specific and likely will not cater to your needs on a non-verizon network.
You have been full warned on what you are stepping into.

You are trying the impossible. A Verizon phone without a Verizon sim in a non-Verizon signal area is just not going to function. That's why HTC made the European unlocked phone.
It's like expecting a fish to ride a bicycle.

idk anymore lol - taking this update from s-off/unlocked is going to be a PIA
in general just waiting on anything that might be easier than having to unroot, uninstall supersu, revert back to stock recovery (i think that is where i was thinking you might have just that img), then take s-on and s-off/locked .... i assume these are the steps

I apologize for all of us who take your great work for granted buddy. Don't know what we got till it's gone and even then some of us don't know or care lol. I wish more of us would show our appreciation more. My whole HTC experience has always been dependent on Dottat, Andybones, Santod, jcase, beaups and a few others I can't remember. But there isn't many. I know your work and assistance has helped us all tremendously. If it wasn't for you guy's the HTC experience would go from the best to the worst just like that. My phone choice is always dependent on whether or not you guy's are gonna get the next HTC or not. Pretty big deal if you ask me! I think HTC should put you all on their payroll! HaHa

I would wait. It hasn't been released for this area yet and if you manual upgrade a soak you may never get the ota. From what I've seen I'd rather Moto wait and give us a more stable release than what's been released so far. I'm not sure why everyone is in such a hurry, we will get it and it will be more stable.

Was it remote access by USB cable then Factory unlocked? If so then you safe to flash any unlocked 935U. If your not with Sprint or any major US carrier best one to flash is the XAA.

If you go to a U Rom the downside you might lose your band 30 and the carrier aggression. AT&T doesn't have a Unlocked rom. So you would have to use XAA 935U which is a universal American unlocked ROM. AT&T uses band 30 pentrate inside buildings where band 17, 2, 4 and 5 can't get. But that's the only downside being unlocked with AT&T.
But can I update once the Nougat firmware comes out?

If it's the 935U you will be automatically have an update. You probably get that sometime later this month or next month. Since they only do quarterly updates. I think carriers in the US should start seeing Nougat next week. I'm on a Tmobile rom for that reason and to have other features that the unlocked rom doesn't have on it.

As far as I know this is not possible because the CSC code is checked.
You can change your CSC code to UK and it should work.
But I think you need root to change your CSC code.
