Maybe you might have been trying to download a big file.

BlackMarket, nova launcher. i think thats it
I to am getting this error and have no idea on how to fix it. I have cleared both caches. If it helps I'm rooted on MDC and have the oedex wifi mod installed.
I got that error for one application when it was trying to be updated in the Play store - Android Tuner. I got around it by using ES explorer and deleting the odex file then reattempting app update.
I have 6.2 GB free and I am unable to update or install apps.
I have wiped dalvik and rebooted.
Update: this is apparently only an issue for updating apps. Also if I unistall and try to reinstall it will throw the error message.
I had installed Modern Combat 4 but it ate up my storage. I uninstalled and move clockwork and all my cached wallpapers to the sd card.
The apps that I'm currently experiencing this issue with are google drive and vine.

Only workaround I could find was a total wipe and reflash.

I had a feeling it was going to come down to having to do a flash and wipe
Hi ... I'm a total noob/newbie with cell phones . I'm a older person that just want to back up the phone if ever something bad happens to it . I don't want to root . I just want to keep the factory setting and I'm happy with that alone . Now, I have view a few apps which do back ups but it say before installing the app my phone has to be rooted . Again, I don't want to go there . So my question is , is there an app which will Back Up my whole phone incase of a disaster ? Thanks
Hi, if you want to backup your ROM, you need to root, there is no other way to backup without it.. But if you want to keep it stock, you doesn't need any backup, there is no problem..
PS: the apps that you saw was just to backup other apps, to backup your ROM, you need to make a nandroid backup from CWM or TWRP.

Try clickfree mobile backup in the play store. It's I think exactly what you are looking for.

Rule number One: if you do not know why are you rooting - DO NOT ROOT.
Rule number Two: if you do not know what you want to do and how - do not use rooted apps, as it may mess with your system.
Go to Galaxy S 4 Themes and Apps. All mods, apps, themes will be there. You can use google to search apps root or something like that. I recommend:
- titanium backup: backup app+data, uninstall+freeze apps including system apps (you should look for list of system apps safe to uninstall)
- greenify: hibernate apps
- GMD
- lmt launcher
Sorry about the title i was confused on what to put
So my tablet is rooted and i have modified some files on an app which you have to be rooted to modify. All i want to know is if it is possible to transfer the app onto my phone which is not rooted. i was thinking maybe there is a way to make the app back into an apk with the modified files buy im confused on how i would do that.
You won't be able to as you would need root permissions

I have an unrootd galaxy s5. I am not allowed to root. I recently had a software update come through. I am now no longer able to move apps to my sd card. When the update came through it renamed my sd card and my applications that had links to various folders had to be changed because the old name and path were no longer valid.
When I try the app manager there is no option to move to sd. It is not grayed out, instead it is no longer there. See attached screen shot.
When I try to use an app that is for moving apps to sd card, I get an error saying my device does not support this option.
I have greenify running to kill many system apps I do not use, could this be apart of the issue or is it something else?
nah thats not the option, marshmallow probably doesn't allow it

It is a company phone.
You just have to click on the storage in that apps settings then it should take you to more options for the app and you can change it there.
