Android Beta Program & Nexus Files for Developers & Android Security Bulletin - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I opt into Android Beta Program and now I'm seeing 7.0.0 (NRD90R) on Nexus Factory Images and 7.0.0 (NRD90U) on Latest Nexus OTA Images.
Did anyone got Android Security Bulletin—September 2016 OTA on Android 7.0 Nougat yet?
I checked via "Settings" -> "About phone" -> "System updates" and got "Your system is up to date" as of now...

Nope not here

And I'm on NRD90M ota

I'm in the same boat. I haven't gotten the September update yet and my 6P is showing NRD90M.
I just started searching the forums and unsure what options we have as we opted into the developer.
Can we side load the new NRD90U OTA without it wiping our devices?

WTF?! I don't have WiFi! Why is my security have to suffer until Sep 16th?! WTF?

Acer continues to offer updates to enrich your Iconia Tab A500/A501 user experience. These include firmware updates and application refreshes. In order to get the best out of your Iconia Tab, its installed applications, and prevent system incompatibility, you must apply all application updates before upgrading the firmware.

New Lollipop Update Out - August 2015

I had the preview before and 2 days ago reached me an OTA update with now working Amazon Music app and stuff!
but its not rootable cause its a little ota update like 4.5.4 -> 4.5.5 and you can't go to it with a rooted 4.5.*
just with a unrooted OS 5 (OTA Unblocked) you get this
A rooted OS 5 caused me a bootloop, and i get out of it with the recovery!
Edit: I know now that the update is 5.2.2
here are some screenshots including new lockscreen wallpapers and new app icons:

Riddance of 'System update downloaded'

Does anyone have a working method of getting rid of this?
I've tried a few suggestions from around the Web but no luck.
Really irritating. Any alternative way to install it with TWRP?

Just a security update unfortunately, but haven't a clue how to get rid of it. I'd like to install it, but can't with root.

Nothing you can do, the price we pay for being rooted
If you just want to get rid of the annoying notification message then go to Settings >> Notifications >>> Select show system apps under menu >>> Google Services Framework >> Toggle all notifications to off.
You can manually update to the latest version without wiping your data. You will need to already have an unlocked bootloader though and will need to re-rrot. Instructions can be found in http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928

Rooted s5

Has anyone come up with a work around to make android pay work? It was working fine by disabling su then the application. But something has changed that doesn't work anymore. I even tinkered with xposed and rootcloak but that isn't working either. I know it has nothing to do with the rom version because I've reverted to the stock image of this build a couple times and pay works. If anyone has any advise that doesn't mean staying unrooted it would be much appreciated

I read an article recently, and if I find it I will post it, but it said that android pay can detect all root methods now and will disable itself.

Found it. http://www.howtogeek.com/241012/saf...y-and-other-apps-dont-work-on-rooted-devices/
Thanks for the info but just saying that's bogus. I can see if your a businessman and got a corporate account. But us regular users that enjoy tinkering with our devices they should allow us to sign a waiver to make it work.

And from my reading it seems like most people are on the a newer update than what I'm seeing (mmb29p)
Android security paths - January 1 2016
Was there another Feb or even March update? I check a few times but besides the few updates that came upon boot I have nothing else.
mhc19i is the latest update
Factory images can be found here. It says there were 3 updates since MMB29P. I am still on MMB29P myself, as I just received my 6P today.
You'll eventually get it, you just have to wait for them to beam it to your phone. The "check for updates" page is basically useless. You could also flash the update manually if you don't want to wait.
