This is not the place to ask about AOKP. You'd better go back to your source for it.
Jeff.

Since the 4.2 update, this app is not working with Nexus 7. Any one got a workaround or a recommendation for a similar app.
Thanks.

Yes, Google hastily and sloppily killed it as a quick security fix. The issue has been reported back to Google to implement a better / alternative solution.
If it's important to you, please go to the link below and 'star' the issue so it gets Google's attention quicker.
Bring back the ability to toggle airplane mode, or a way to enable/disable the cellular radio without affecting other radios

Been using Better WiFi On off for now.
Strange find:
In my attempt to further debloat my AT&T moto x, I was investigating programs that were being triggered by the alarm manager. One of them was called Moodles.apk (com.motorola.moodles). Upon further investigation (quick look at classes.dex decompiled) I decided that program's purpose is to change the boot animation to have a winter theme. In fact, the .apk includes the winter boot logo and boot animations, and you can play the .mp4 videos by unzipping the files and playing with a compatible player (I used vlc.)
It appears the 'winter theme' is scheduled to be triggered on December 9'th.

I don't know if it will actually happen, but I thought I'd post this unexpected find...
Cool find! I'll have to check it out.
I'm going to change the date and find out
EDIT: It worked! Looks pretty cool actually. Just change the date in settings. I wonder if there's something for summer/spring.

Worked on my ATT Moto X. Set the date to 12/10. Reboot. Wintery goodness.
Edit: Changed the date back to auto, rebooted and its still there
Only thing I saw was the first bootlogo is purple instead of green. Other than that it's the same. What am I missing?

On mine, the bootlogo is purple, and then it kicks off into a winter scene - shows a couple cartoon animals kissing each other on the cheek, some snow, etc.
Cool. Thanks. I wonder why mine didn't change
May be an AT&T thing...I'm on USC changed my date to 12/10/2013 and rebooted...to no avail.

The image no, we could see Marshmallow working but it would be from aosp. Modified system images from the nexus 5 never got very far (someone tried this for the android L previews back in the day, they got it booting after a ton of issues but it was never actually released or really usable.)
Isn't the nexus 5 almost the exact same specs as lg g2? Besides barometer and partition layout?

I just got this phone 3 days ago and noticed the phone gets hot like 105°F just browsing on Chrome. Anyone else having this issue?
I came from the Note 3 and that phone never got hot just browsing.

Mine gets hot while playing games. That's it. I don't have the temp displayed on screen, just going off of feel. Is there anything else running in the background?
I wouldn't be too concerned about 105°F either way. My Xperia could be used as a heating pad and was still running strong after nearly 2 years of use. Really wish I hadn't dropped it.
Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
Something you an try is turning down the screen brightness a lot. What I would do if I were you would be check out the thread about lowing the resolution to 1080p. The phone will run cooler and be a little snappier since the GPU won't be nearly as taxed. The only issue you will have would be if you use moto display. The camera is a little off too, but you get used to clicking below the video button to record. Also, you are not going to notice the resolution difference
Seems to be better now. I was using Nova Launcher when I first set it up, and I'm using Google Now Launcher and seems to be normal now. Either that or it's settled now.

This topic has been discussed since the phone was released. Its display and GPU. I am rooted running trupure with frankenkirk and 1080p display setting. All is better and haven't had any heating issues like the stock ROM. I believe display setting will screw up moto features..
42 Celcius here using chrome, and sometimes Youtube, complety stock ( not unlocked)
My previous phone was a Moto G 2013, the temperature raise is normal, but for me is a disappointment

Try a different kernel. Stock seems to keep all cores at max for best user experience. This however gets the phone hot and reduces battery life.

I haven't made the switch to 1080p yet. The room and qhd are working fine for me. The only time my phone gets hot is when playing games for a certain amount of time. Other than that, I haven't had any heating issues.
I just notice I get better battery with 1080p setup. Also helps with phone not getting too hot as well when playing games.

It should work with no problems. Usually it is launchers, apps, and widgets that are specific to manufacturers (i.e. Samsung and LG interface, apps, and widgets) that are the issue. With Motorola keeping this phone almost true to vanilla, there should be very little if any issues changing resolution.

105°F.... Probably not much to worry about. If this was a Celsius reading, then it would definitely be an issue.

It will break moto display. I don't use any moto app/system that came with the phone. That could also add to better battery. Follow the instruction for 1080p. Just make sure root, SU installed, and terminal emulator. When you set it up, you will see your screen resolution change.
