Am I using the latest firmware on my Zenfone5 ASUS_T00P? - Zenfone 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I bought my Zenfone 5 ASUS T00P about 6 months ago now. I immeditaley manually upgraded it from KK to Lollipop 5.0 to what I thought was the latest fimrware at the time, WW_12.4.5.50_20150814.
I noticed that there appears to be a more recent version of firmware namely, WW_12.4.5.58. Can someone confirm that this is also Lollipop and should I attempt an upgrade to this or just stay where I am? Thanks.

WW_12.4.5.58 is the latest Lollipop firmware for A500KL model. Yes, it's Lollipop
I don't own a A500KL model, but you should try the latest firmware. According to ASUS website, there's an improvement on system stability in this latest firmware.

[Q] Leaked 4.4.2 vs 4.4.2 Poland

Hi,
I installed the leaked 4.4.2 Polish version of KK and do not want to upgrade to the version of the next day which is Kies official.
(I had to because I had the Hong Kong version of the Note 3 Snapdragon, and the leaked version had the 4 files + using the PIT file worked)
a)Are there any differences and/or will it prevent me from updating OTA when future updates come up?
b)Now that I succesfully upgraded to a European version, do I still need to do in the future the 4 files flash on ODIN when new versions come up?
(some people reported phone stuck on Samsung logo when upgrading to 4.4.2 with only 1 file and could not flash anything else afterwards.

[Q] New update to current build/ROM?

Ello'
I updated to 4.4.2 months ago just before KK was released for the D802 UK on EE to KOT49I.D8022b, i'm wondering if there is a newer update than this build for the phone?
The device is unlocked, so I do not need the EE firmware.
ps - rooted, but no custom recovery installed - what would be the best way to update the firmware if there is an update available?

Flashing MM Firmware

Hi,
So I have an Australian SM-N910G running 5.1.1, and I want to get MM as it has been released for the Indian version of the SM-N910G. Reports have said there is no issues. If I were to do this, would I flash the 5.1.1 Indian firmware and update or am I able to just flash the 6.1.1 firmware over my stock 5.1.1 Australian firmware?

You just need to flash the Marshmallow firmware. I'm in a similar situation, have a N910C on 5.1.1, UAE version, about to flash 6.0.1 using the Poland N910C firmware.
can it be done without bootloader upgrade ??? and is a downgrade possible after that ?
The indian 6.0.1 MM firmware can be odin flashed over your existing 5.1.1 firmware without upgrading your bootloader.
You can still downgrade back to 5.1.1 after you flashed the MM firmware.

Marshmallow 6.0.1 on Samsung SM-900W same processor could we use it on 900A?

Samsung recently released the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware update for the Galaxy Note 3 with the model number SM-N900W8. The new firmware, which comes with the build number “VLU2DPG1,” was rolled out in multiple countries, including Canada, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay. Here’s a tutorial showing manual installation for the Canadian version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
There are two official ways to get the new firmware — as an over-the-air (OTA) update and updating through Samsung Kies. If both these methods are not working, users can also install the firmware manually by downloading the N900W8VLU2DPG1 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow stock firmware and then flashing it using a tool called Odin.
The article is wrong, there is no mm for the n900w8.
DPG1 is lp: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N900W8/

None of the note 3 phones have mm.
The article still refers to dpg1 as mm but it is really lp.
There is no stock mm for n900: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N900/

what the last official firmware for lg g2

hi guys
is lollipop 5.1.1 available for lg g2 official firmware or not
when i try to connect my device to lg pc suit it said available d80220c to d80230c what v. form lollipop is ? 5.02 or 5.1.1 ?
It depends on your country. Check it here. All d80230 series are 5.0.2.
Last official firmware is V30F with march 16' security update but it's still 5.0.2 Android. Newer version only possible with unofficial builds.
So they didn't put out 5.1.1 in the end? I've read some articles stating that 5.1.1 was confirmed somewhere around 2014 or 2015.
do you recommended to update to 5.0.2 ? or there are many problem with it ?
Especially with battery
