I have Note 4 SM-N910T which is currently on kitkat 4.4.4.
I want to update it to 6.0.1 marshmallow but whenever I go in my setting and check for updates, it says it already is on latest version. Is it some issue with my region settings ? because currently I am not in US and I am in south Asia region.
Please help
Thank you!

Hi all,
I have the Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005, currenty running android 4.3, and I am waiting eagerly for the KitKat 4.4.2 update, but I'm afraid that because this specific model is not officialy sold im my country (Israel) and I bought it from abroad, that maybe the KitKat update will not reach my phone here in Israel.
Can someone please tell me if the official Samsung KitKat 4.4.2 update for this model (SM-N9005) is not region restricted, e.g. it has nothing to do with regions, and my phone will be updates via kies anyway ?

You Note will update from the Region that it was bought from, via OTA -- So if you got it from say, Germany, you'll receive German OTA update when it rolls out, same for X Y Z country.
I just did this and flashed the mexican CSC and locked my phone. I think if you keep the right CSC you'll be fine
Thanks

I mean is there an official 5.1.1 for Russia Region as we heard that Samsung already started to roll-out the 5.1.1 for Note 4 in Russia.
That's why I want to use the russian 5.0.1 stock rom so may be I get the 5.1.1 by OTA.

and they tried, but resulted only in official services could get the firmware (not if it is true), the end nobody provided the files and the matter was cooled
Is there a way to install this version on the G variant of the Note 4?
I am from Australia and we got the India version for some reason. I heard that ROMs from the F variant can be installed but so far I had no luck :/.
I couldn't get Emotion to work. I am downloading DrKetan's rom now to see if it works.
I assume we need to wait until 5.1.1 gets released.
No need to wait.
You can get 5.1.1 version from sammobile.com and flash it with Odin.
Be careful though: don't choose one that is locked by a provider or you might encounter problems.
I checked Sammobile and the 5.1.1 update still note released for the S910G variant.
I have a n910g to but no 5.1 ..just wondering..
Hello.
I'm tired of waiting for Samsung to finally roll out the marshmallow update to my device. So I did some searching and turns out Spain already has the 6.0 update. As theyre using the same model number as my device I started wondering if it may be possible to obtain the Spanish stock rom and just flash it via odin onto my device. (I've got a German note 4 model number sm-n910f)
PS: I hope I'm using the right forum.
Stock marshmallow for n910f hasn't come out yet. Must yet
Did you flash the rom ?i am here wondering the same idea .i am thinking to flash inu version of n910g atock rom in my n910g singapore variant can we flash the rom if both have different baseband version ?
