Erisin 3015V bleep & static noise - Android Head-Units

Hello everyone,
I hope you can help me with that small but still annoying issue I have with a brand new Erisin 3015V.
Basically when starting up Spotify or some other Media I got heavy static noise which is clearly audible even in mid-volumes.
When starting the radio it's still there but less noisy and therefore not that annoying.
What is interesting is the fact that if I mute the system the noise is gone!... strange
But what's even more annyoing and totally freaking me out is the bleep/squeak/tweet whatever you call it I have every 10-15 seconds. This is not gone when I mute the system and I don't know what to do to eliminate that..
I have this Unit installed:
http://www.erisin.com/erisin-es3015v-8-android-51-car-dvd-gps-player-for-vw_p610.html
without anything attached to the USB ports, no Mic attached.
The only thing plugged in is the VW Quadlock, the gps Antenna and the Wifi Antenna
I drive a Passat B7 (2011)
That's the back of the unit

Thank you so much!

So I guess nobody has such a problem?
defect unit I assume

Hello, I have a Erisin 3015IT on a VW Tiguan, and have exactly the same issue. I have noticed it has to do with the lights: when they're off there is no noise, but when I turn on even just position lights (or even I just BRAKE!) I hear statics. Also, when I turn the steering wheel 180° or more, a weird beeing static..
I tried noise suppression filters on the DC before the head unit, but no go.. didn't have this issue with the oem radio
Must be some kind of interference with the electric system.
I hope somebody can give us a clue

[Q] Problem with the magnetic field sensor

Hi everyone
I got a defy+ two weeks ago and it was fine until a few days, it completely lost it, it keeps connecting to either car dock or dock media station all by it self, installed various roms, returned to stock 2.3.6 no way it just got mad, the screen keeps glowing even when nobody touches it, now even the phone's speaker (not the loud speaker) doesn't work in calls anymore, it thinks that the headphones are connected, and also the music doesn't get through the loud speaker, im just fed up, I have downloaded several apps to prevent the phone from entering dock mode with no success, as its a hardware problem. its the magnetic field sensor that went mad, I have no choice but to open the handset and give the sensor IC some heat (I'm very skillful in such things), whats your opinion guys? Does anybody have a picture of the motherboard to appoint me to the sensor IC please?
Please reply as its the only phone I currently own :crying: and in such country there is no warranty no matter what
I solved the problem by applying heat to the AKM ak8973 magnetic field sensor IC using a a high precision heat gun and a bit of soldering past and the phone seems to operate flawlessly now. after searching a little bit it seems that a wide range of Android based Motorola phones suffer from the same problem including Atrix and Razr so this may be the solution, I have attached an image showing the AKM chip that needs to be heated up

Joying 135N2 won't use external mic!!! Only internal :(

Hi guys,
Can't seem to find a solution to this but my HU seems to only use the internal mic on the front of the HU and not the 3.5mm one I have attached to the mic plug at the back.
Tried to wipe the unit entirely and reinstall latest 7th July firmware and also tried 2 different mics.
Is there a reason the audio is only being rooted from the mic at the front?? The first time I installed Viper4Android the other day ... could this have caused a problem??
Having completely wiped the unit I can't see how I'd still have this problem when it worked before
Joying are a seller only, they buy from manufacturers, attach a "Joying" badge and sell them on, so there are no "Joying" units.
To find out what unit you have go to settings/about device, the entry in the MCU field will tell you what unit you have, post a pic or tell us what it says, then we can identify your unit.
have you tried to check the connector on the motherboard ?

I have checked and unfortunately the connector is fine but it still refuses to use and plugged in external mic. With the bluetooth issues and this it might be time to give up and buy a head unit from a decent manufacturer!
I'm having this same problem. I checked the connector inside and it seems fine as well. 6021 motherboard, Android 6. Absolutely NO audio not even static coming in from external mic and when I use the external mic nothing comes in from the internal mic.

Need Help Identifying Android Headunit

Hi, Sorry for the noob question but I am new to Android Headunits. My Car Honda City had a non-android head unit which stopped working so I had to replace it and I procured a new head unit from the local market and got it installed. Now the problem is that I want to use steering controls on Apps Such as Saavn, Spotify etc but I tried using the MTCDTools which didn't work for me. My Headunit has PX5 board but in the MCU field, there is something else. I am attaching the pictures of the same and will be very helpful If someone can help me figure out how I can make the steering controls work. They Work on Radio, Bluetooth and Native Music Player.
Also, Is it possible to root this android headunit as I was looking to install Viper4Android. It doesn't have any card slot there are only USB Slots available

P,s, If I am breaking any rules by posting this. Please let me know I am new in this section. Will delete the thread if needed
Also, My Car doesn't have shades and In summers it heats up alot when parked and I have noticed the headunit's touch doesn't works when its parked in the heat and I have to reset it and then it starts working again. Is this normal ?
Can Anyone help me figuring out the Manufacturer of this Unit or guide me how can I find it
Can anyone please help, I am not able to use steering wheel controls on any other apps for changing tracks other than the preinstalled ones.

[Help] Atoto S8 Pro screen backlight issue?

Hey all, so I decided to upgrade my market Ford Fiesta (2007) stereo with an ATOTO S8 Premium. Have done this in previous cars and has been, well... pretty straight forward, but I'm having issues when replacing this one. I'm not sure if its the Fiesta ISO harness, if it's the new stereo or what.
This is actually the second ATOTO I've tried, I sent back the first one as I thought it was faulty, turns out this one is exactly the same so assuming it's down to the car.
When it's all hooked up and I start the engine, the ATOTO logo appears on the screen and it boots etc, but it's like there's no power to the display, it's very, very faint. When I press the reset button, sometimes the display works for a split second (video 1 below showing the faint screen and video 2 showing part of the Google logo blinking when reset is pressed).
Anyone have any idea what I need to do? It's driving me insane...

For those who encounter this "problem": you have to connect red ACC (accessory) power wire from Atoto to any "ignition" activated wire. For testing you could just short it with the live 12V (yellow wire). Alternatively splice it with cigarette lighter wire or even cleaner solution is to use piggyback fuse wire to cigarette lighter fuse. Boxer, Ducatto, Jumper vans have radio unit that's always ON, so they do not have an accessory power wire in the harness.

Headunit not outputting sound through the iso connection.

Hi! I bought a headunit recently and when I fitted it in my car (a Peugeot 107) everything worked well besides the audio. When I put the key in and turn it just to power the headunit, the sound works as expected, but the moment I start the car, the sound is gone, nothing sound-related works. Sometimes when I hit the little "RST" button with the engine on, the sound comes back, but that's not the case every time. I tried looking into the settings, even in the factory settings, I tried looking through all the options, but I didn't find anything.
The unit is connected to my car just through a normal iso port, which has the cables for both the power and the speakers (I do not have any rca cables in my car):

My theory is that this is a software problem and it pushes the audio through the rca connectors instead of the iso one. This is the only thing that makes sense to me since a complete reboot of the device seems to more or less solve the issue temporarily. As a workaround, I thought that maybe there's an adaptor to convert my speakers to rca and plug them in that way, but I couldn't really find something that would work.
I am not sure what model do I have since there's nothing on the box that would tell me, but I made some photos of the specs so I hope that's enough to somewhat identify it:
This issue drives me mad to be honest, especially because everything else works fine.
Thank you!
