Goto recovery.
Take backup on external sd card
reboot
install thisapk
Start the application and select the amount (I choose 2.5gb)
reboot into recovery mode
wipe data/factory reset
restore ur backup
reboot
connect ur phone to windows pc as USB storage
format the internal partition (be careful dont format sd card)
Now I have 2.5 gb internal, 300mb phone storage.
AND SUCCESSFULLY RESTORED MY OLD BACKUP.

all is well. now I have 3.94 gb internal, 9.69 gb phone storage. (earlier - 0.98 and 12.70.)

Format the sd of OnePlus 2

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if you can format the sd of OnePlus 2 recovery, thanks to those replies.
With the "SD" I suppose you actually mean the internal memory as it's called on our phone since it doesn't have any SD-slot. But yes, you can format the internal memory using advanced wipe option in TWRP backup.

Internal & External Sdcard write protected

firmware : G935FXXS1BPIB_G935FXSA1BPHC_XSA
I recently update my firmware and installed TWRP as well. I noticed that I don't have write access to both internal and external SDcard from my PC.
Please help.

Flashing from recovery with unified storage

Hi All,
I flashed a RESURRECTION REMIX MM V5.7.4 which is running 6.0.1. I then choose to convert my 64gb SD card to adopted (unified) internal storage. I am now having issues flashing new zips in recovery mode. I'm currently using TWRP 3.0.2-1.
When choosing the install option i cant find the internal or external files under any of the folders. I can no longer select the adopted storage to flash from or backup to. the internal storage is showing from the root "/" folder.
Can anyone help to and tell me how to flash zips and how i can backup to my sd card ?
Cheers

Strange error with the micro sd card

Hello
I have a p9 lite with dual sim activated and vodafone official rom.
I have a micro sd insert and work fine. I take photos and are saved in the sd. i can create folders, format sd, etc.
But, when i reboot the phone, al content is delete automatically, and phone create some folder as dload (with firmware), system volume, etc.
I try factory reset the phone, wipe data, cache and configuration, reinstall official rom.
How can I correct this behavior? Is there any option that causes this?
Thanks for the help.
into the setting, there is a menu called " memory and storage " where you can select micro sd or main storage . What is your setting ?
In this menu i see both storages, internal memory and samsung sd card. I can format and expel it. I try both options
1. I download a app to format sd. Format and go to settings-memory and storage and show that the sd is 0 bytes.
2. expel the sd with menu.
3. mount the sd and automatically, show all previus files (10% occupied).

That means your sd card is going bad. I suggest you replace it ASAP before it dies completely
Thanks. I test the card un PC and when format say write protected. Surely the card is failed.
