Hi, I am working on porting on htc sense 4.0 from htc one v to u8800.
I can get into the system , the touch screen works well, but most the hardware does not work.
I can not power on the phone after I power off the phone. Nothing happens when I do anything.
I can not get into recovery, can not get into pink screen, can not power on.
Does anybody else know what happens to my phone?
Is it possible for me to make the phone work again?
look at pm
Does the phone and recovery is opened?

can not boot or charge or get into recovery or pink screen
Did you solve the problem?
Wait for great work

Did you add the correct system/usr folder for the right keymapping? Maybe force recovery thru adb reboot recovery.

Hi honking i think this the 2nd time you are in the problem... i am fallowing your posts on anzhi from the time u released 927 and 977 ROMs for U8800. As i suggested you on that forum. 1.Have you tried with out battery in handset connecting USB cable with PC to handset. 2. Also try with batery in handset cable connecting to laptop and handset.....
To my knowledge..When you are connecting PC to handset with USB cable with out battery u need not switch ON the handset it should be ON by itself if there is no physical damage in handset.
I flash a wrong kernel (A Nexus 7 kernel), and my nexus4 become brick. No matter what I did, it still no response. I can't boot to fastboot, even i can't turn it on. Please help....
connect to PC, only show a QHSUSB_DLOAD in Device Manager. But still can't turn it on. Please help, anything i can do to fix it??
Read through the ENTIRE other thread you posted in, all the info is there.
No idea how you accidently flash wrong a kernel for the wrong device.
Get into bootloader mode. (can you? Google on how to do it manually)
Or
Plug the phone in via usb if you had adb used on it and type adb reboot bootloader (hence if use toolkit you won't have this set up.)

It just seems impossible on finding kernel for other phones on a nexus 4 forum.
Oh what's this? A link to a flash able zip? Let's flash it without thinking.
Think before you flash op.... And dont use toolkits.

I can't connect PC with adb. I connect PC can't show the charge icon in my phone. And PC can only identify the device as QHSUSB_DLOAD.
So, what can i do..?

I really dislike people recommending to send the phone back (RMA) to Google for a user's own (I'll be polite here) lack of awareness and understanding of what they are doing. This person should continue to look for solutions to get it working and if not.. well, to bad. Lesson learnt. Buy another Nexus 4.
Besides that fastboot should still be accessible. If OP can eventually get into fastboot then all will be well.
Go read read FAQ thread, will show yo proper way to get back to bootloader mood don't be lazy that won't help, agree getting to bootloader mode then fastboot proper n4 kernel.try it on other pc I'd you cannot in this pc,make sure you install the driver.

Bro, i already read some thread... but still not work...i try any combine key with connection to PC, and only red LED appeared few sec and then off again. I think i had driver, because i can use toolkit, unlock and root via adb before. Or can u please give me the link which i need to read? I search about the "qhsusb_dload" problem. Some tell me can easy to fix it by using power+ Vol+/- with connection to PC. But i try many times, still not work... I know i can fix it, if i can enter bootloader. But now i can't turn my phone on.... any suggestion? Thank you.

Its actually appalling the lack of support users get on here, instead being on point and helping the man out all they get is criticized.
Anyways Back to topic: yatyuk your device isn't bricked it still has life. I had the exact same issue before when connecting to the PC I was also getting the "qhsusb_dload" driver alert.

I read your post already bro!! Thanks for your help. But, i don't understand #241. How can I get into fastboot mode?
Is the first step "1) Once in Fastboot mode, through Nexus 4 Toolkit I flashed the Clock Work Recovery. " ?
Now I connect my phone to PC, then Power + Vol- for ~10sec, my phone will had red led for few second and then off again.

I like how all the people who manage to do something so idiotic to these phones band together and stick up for each other. There is no possible way to flash the wrong nexus kernel. any who, the solution has been posted plenty of times. Enter recovery then fast food.

To get into Fastboot:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So for all the people with Bricked devices all hope is not lost. Follow this procedure to get into Fastboot.
1) Press the Power button for more then 5 seconds to do a Hard Reset. This is where you screen is completely turned off.
2) Now take your LG manufactured USB connect it to the PC. Do not connect it to the phone just yet.
3) Holding the Vol Down and Power together and NOW connect your other end of the USB connector to the phone and then your phone should give you a slight vibration and you should see the Fastboot screen (Android lying on the back)
NOTE: Make sure as soon as you see then fastboot mode Let go of the Vol and Power Button right away!

Is that mean no hope
yatyuk, use this thread for further inquiry LINK. I don't want to go back and forth in between different threads with the same issues.
Try this,
Did you ever get a Battery sign when you had it connected to the PC or AC for power?
Try this, I don't know if its gonna work or not but plug your phone in the wall receptacle for AC Charge and leave it for a while. On AC, the phone most likely, if completely dead, will stay idle but most likely jump back to Battery sign showing its charging or not.
When that happens, leave like that for a hour or two.
Let me know what happens. Good luck.

I had read your post already, and i will keep on trying...
So I was dumb enough to brick my OT 5038X by flashing boot image via fastboot. I'm gathering all the info I can and I'll be posting my progress here.
If you're looking for a root, just download mobogenie on PC, than KingRoot app on your phone. You'll be able to have SU in ROM Toolbox.
Here are some pictures, and what got my attention:
Is there any chance of unbricking my phone? I can't get any info on this, just a lot of people with the similar problems as me
Main problem we have here is that SP flash tool won't download. It reads back, but download is impossible, cause device disconnects when you try downloading. I tried without a battery, with a battery, with volume key down, with volume key up, and all possible hardkey combiations. I think that by soldering some of these soldering points together I can get it to work. I'll try measuring pins with multimeter for safety, so i don't burn something on my motherboard, I'll also try finding jtag pins that are in use. But I'll have to buy a "smarter" multimeter, so i dont get parallel port burnt, or phone mobo again. I have few multimeters, but all of them are cheap crappy chinese ones, and they don't read correctly.
According to MT6582 datasheet, there are 4 jtag pins, so there is just one unused pin. Hopefully I'll be able to write a program in C that will allow me to listen to the parallel port data so i can indentify which pins do what.

Hello, i have one small question. How did you flash the boot img through fastboot. I want the extact command. Also if you have adb then you isn't hard bricked because the adb-daemon boots with the kernel(bootimg).
Generally the jtag is for unbricking hard-bricked devices. You know with damaged bootloaders (IBL, SBL etc). And usually the points are close to the battery connector or behind the battery connector. And think these are your jtag point. There should be some GND points that's why you have 7 pins. You can identify which pins are GND with a multimeter.
And maybe is easy to unbrick your phone vio recovery mode. Have you tried to flash a full rom or a boot img?

I tried, but I don't have factory update, and my phone is running factory recovery. I know my phone isn't hardbricked, but I can't unbrick it, so JTAG is an option. I flashed bootimg with "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
OK... So I didnt miss being a idiot today again. Now I dont have ADB and recovery anymore. I flashed recovery with MTK droid tools generated image. But I did realize that it may be possible to unbrick this phone with SPFlash tool. This is the error I get:
Code:

First of all, jtag generally it's an expesive and a more difficult way to unbrick your phone. Also with jtag you don't flash the whole firmware. You only upload to the memory a bootloader which handles the update through sp flash tool let's say. And you flash your firmware.
Also if you find a factory pdate you can flash it through recovery. Was the boot.img faulty?
Boot image I used for flashing was for 5038D i think, there's not much of a difference between these two phones, but still it was enough to f*ck up my phone. I managed to get SP flash tools to the next level (luckily I have valid scatter file), but now I'm getting an error :
Anyway I want to find out where and what are the exact pins for JTAG, so I can help people who got hard bricked. It's not expensive if its possible to do it without extra tools. I hope i can do something by listening to paralell :/ I mentioned multimeter, I want to check if there's an power pin on jtag, so i dont get phone or parallel port burned.
Also there is no stock rom available for download, but there is source code on alcatel site.

I have done some research for jtag recently and usually you want a dev board to access the cpu of the phone. Maybe you can do it with the parallel but I'm not sure. With a dev board it's easier. Also we can make our dev board for jtaging and we can load on it openocd. It's a very good software fordebugging and jtaging.
Also there are many cheap boards in the web for example bus pirate (35$).
And there no Vcc pins or power pins in jtag. You power your phone from battery or from external power. There only TDI, TDO, TMS, TCK, TRST(optional).

Bus pirate seems like a great solution for me. Thanks for the info on JTAG. To be honest i didn't do any jtaging on "modern" phones. I did however jtaged xperia x1, and as i can remember there were VCC and GND, regardless of port you choose. Im also absolutely sure that one router i jtaged had power pins.
Anyway I managed to find POP D5 with stock firmware, so as soon as i get my hands on it Ill be writing a tutorial for soft bricked phones.

I'm happy to hear that you can unbrick your phone. But it would be nice to do some research how to jtag different phones. I know that it is difficult but as I understood your a hardware guy and you can solder wires to phones etc. So if you want I can help you to start a R&D thread with information...
Thanks for all the info. I'll order a bus pirate, regardless of this method I'll try with the parallel port. I definitely need one, cause I mess around with hardware a lot. I'm also willing to learn, so message me if you will with some interesting material. We can start a thread, why not. But let me do something concrete first.

What about Furious Gold? h t t p : // w w w .furiousgold . com /en/ module/ mtk-code-reader
The phone is not hardware-brick, but is lock by software. There got to be a way to bypass or pause the software for locking the USB port. I do not know if it could be possible but connecting the on-board memory to a USB adapter reader with the phone completely off. I am sure there is a way!

2 days ago a friend asked me to fix his J1 stuck in boot image. I gladly said yes for I've done it 4x already different units same model with satisfying results. This one is the exact opposite because after flashing with Odin and getting the Passed result, the phone didn't reboot. Actually it never booted right after that moment. System didn't recognize the phone not even a dim light or blink or any reaction from it even when plugged in a wall charger. tried all possible solutions even the galaxy tab procedure of total batt drain and so on. The firmware I got is from xda, J100MLDXU0AOB3_OLC0AOB5_v4.4.4_Repair_Firmware.zip, and I'm sure it's fine because I've used it already with good results...
Guys, any of you with a solution on this or any suggestions would be much appreciated... Thanks very much in advance!!! :fingers-crossed:

Can you get into Odin Mode? If yes, flash the stock firmware of your region (here is a fast server which provides very fast downloads: fw.updato.com) If no, then you should change your battery as you're saying "it came from my battery" and try the first step again.
If it doesn't help as expected, then your phone is hard bricked and can't be repaired at all. The only solution would be changing the motherboard, but I would not waste my money on a low-end device motherboard and I would directly buy a new phone. :/

If I am correct...
Then SM-J110H have Spreadtrum SC7727S
Here is Pinout for Direct eMMC...
https://postimg.cc/image/ul680l5jv/
This Pinout seems also to work with:
Code:
SM-G318HZ
SM-Z130H
I have leaked SM-Z130H PDF... where Instruction is inside to repair with tweezer... USB cable + Spreadtrum Tool:
Code:
[B]ResearchDownload[/B]
In theory something similar should be possible with SM-J110H...
I have at the moment only 1 problem... to create PAC file...
No idea from where I can get:
Code:
FDL1
FDL2
Best Regards
Edit 1.
Sorry, seems I was drunken...
It is sooo hard to find Posts or Threads about SM-J110H...
But it seems SM-J100H also Spreadtrum device...

Killed it. Was doing great with aokp. After removing some system apps battery life improved. Flashed a custom rick and morty boot animation. All was right in the world.
But then...
Decided I hate the boot logo. Created an image snd flashed it through my terminal emulator using dd command
Phone shut off and will not reboot into anything. No battery charge light. Windows nor Linux will find it.
Never so sufficiently bricked a phone before.
Any ideas?
I had one. I bought another mini. Would still like to fix this one though.
I bricked my mini when flashing new bootlogo. You can unbrick it in two ways. 1. Using Test-Point 2. Use an Deep-flash Cable.

What you have done is amazing -
to bring your mini back from the dead -
maybe you could write a short procedure post about how to do this as it would really help out others who have also encountered this situation?

Well no luck with deep flash cable. Other than when plugged in to computer charging led lights up. But cannot enter edl.
Thought maybe I got a bad cable but tested it on my new mini and it boots to edl.

The only Deep Flash Cable that worked is this one --------> https://www.ebay.com/itm/Deep-Flash...401505148974?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c10
Got it to work...the one I have is hit or miss...but after several attempts it worked.
Used the edl tool to full backup my new mini then flashed to the brick..
Thanks
