No you can't delete it, and people don't read these kinda stories, instead post it as a post in related Subforum, that would be better than creating a whole thread.

Any how, thanks for the info

Yes, info was good though.

I'd guess usual comparisons to the iPhone and thet the camera isn't amazing. They didn't actually say what phones they are going to review when the spoke about the segment on the show though. They did manage to do a reasonable review of the Nokia N95 and it won on features over the original iPhone. Only time will tell. At least it's not Jason doing the review. Just my honest opinion.
What day time and channel? I would be interested in looking at that...
Only 3 G's because it's not an iPhone or Android
Edit... This one?

+£50 they're going to down rate it simply because it uses WinMo, and say only that its "old, and not finger friendly", despite the first having no real relevance, and the second being near irrelevent too seeing as hardly anyone has that sort of problem with the HD2.
Fair play if they mark it down on random lag or crap keyboard though.
I like the Gadget Show but their tests are usually rubbish, I'm sure they are secretly sponsored by apple!! Even when iPhone looses all the tests they still say its better.
From what I saw at the end of last weeks show it looked like they had the HD2 up against the nexus one, but I do hope they bring the iPhone into the mix too.
I'm sure it will be the same old story, Win all the hardware tests, be the best device at most tasks, but will give it a crap rating cos the thicko's don't know how to use windows mobile!!
The Gadget show in the UK is the worst pile of drivel ever to grace our television screens.
It is a complete insult to intelligence and the only kind of people that watch it are those who want to know what objects are currently "cool"... unfortunately... the presenters of the show (and it is apparent the producers and researchers also) are completley clueless about ANY kind of tech.
The whole show ends up being a bit like the blind leading the blind.
Great New Game for All the Family
Gadget Show Lottery:
Guess how long it will take for any of the grinning ninnies presenting the show to mention the word 'Apple'
Score extra if there is a little bit of drool on their chins
Score even more if there is a visible disturbance in the trouser region
Last Week's Winner:
Mrs J.Froster from Newton Abbott, with a guess of 38 seconds. Mrs Froster wins the new iCar - identical to a real car only twice the size, entirely unusable and spectacularly unable to fulfill its basic purpose...but beautifully designed and specially marketed to hide the flaws. Available in white

I think your being a little harsh but I do agree to a certain extent.
I still enjoy the show, but thats what its becoming "A Show" a bit like what happened with Top Gear, General sillyness with the odd bit of usefull information popping in now & then, it looks like this is whats happening to the Gadget Show too.
I still love Top Gear even though they don't review normal cars that much etc. But I love it as a Show.

LOL, Classic!! Top Marks!!
If you want to watch
http://fwd.five.tv/gadget-show/videos/jon-test/samrtphones
HD2 came out on top
just watched that crappy review.
the gadget show must think thats all people do with a smart phone is post tweets and take pictures. no real comparison about email integration, battery life, customization, ease of use, usability, speaker quality, call quality etc, etc, etc.
smartphones are not meant to be judged on how easily they integrate with your social networks, though its a nice feature when they do.
stop comparing to the iphone, it wasnt even reviewed and its not an iphone.
rubbish program that has the specially made steve jobs blinkers on.
Agreed, the review was the briefest things I've ever seen, didn't go indepth on any of the phones at all. He might as well have just covered how the phones felt in his pocket.
The phones covered in the review were: Motorola Milestone, HD2 & Nexus One.
I LOL'd when he described the Nexus One as Google's own phone
Jon Bentley is doing the review - friend of mine - the HD2 was on 1.43 firmware!
What I found particuarly amusing was that he liked the keyboard!! And when he was looking at the pictures he said they weren't bad but I could see some distinctive pink tinging!
BUT at least the HD2 beat the other phones quite clearly. Although did anyone else notice, they didn't actually answer the question that everyone wanted to know... is the HD2 better than the iphone At least he did add very quickly that the HD2 was superior to the iphone in terms of hardware which is really pretty much undeniable fact.

Honeycomb "hideous"? What?

So I was reading the Ars Technica review of the Tab 10.1 and found a lot comments were *****ing at how "hideous" and like "desktop Linux" Honeycomb is. And, eh, I don't get that. Honeycomb looks pretty good to me (I like blue and black, so sue me), and resembling a desktop environment is a plus, not a minus, the silly *****. What's supposed to be so hideous about Honeycomb as opposed to the blown-up phone OS on the iPad, the cartoonish horror of the Playbook, or another blown-up phone OS on the HP Touchpad?
I know what you mean. I find it really frustrating reading unbalanced reviews - and yeah, the comments section always turns into a kindergarten.
I expect a breakdown of functionality and usability. One person's hideous is another person's gorgeous - so I wish they would tone down some of the subjective style assessments.
Personal I find honeycomb to be acceptable. Give it a few months and people will be making it look awesome.
I too am no fanboy to any Operating system, well too be honest, I was a hardcore Winmo fan back in the days...
On a serious note though, I tend to go for systems that will do what I want and need from them and what they are capable of doing in the future... Before I make any decision to purchase this or any type of gadget, I do my research to see what the system has to offer hardware wise and OS wise.
For me Honeycomb at present fits the bill nicely due to its flexability, widgets and Androids general openness to be tweaked. Sure other OS's have their plus points but if they are going to highlight what they don't like about a particular OS or its hardware limitations or lack of expandability, they also need to highlight what their preferred OS cannot do against the one they are bad mouthing, this will be true and objective reviewing otherwise their reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt.
These reviewers also tend to forget that Honeycomb is still in its infancy and things should improve as we go along into the future.
Its pretty, I like it but everyone has different tastes
I it even better than my Ubuntu with Compiz Cube. Someone should make something like that (well, exactly like that) for Compiz.
I just wish you could select to auto-hide the status bar. That thing taking up precious space (especially for movie playback) is annoying.

Galaxy Note- review!

No, it isn’t a movie starring Ghita Muresan, but we’re still dealing with a Star!
One came from Samsung – Galaxy Note for instance, what makes us wondering if we are faceing with a Smarphone, or a small Tablet. One of my mate called it ,,tablophone”, and who knows, maybe it suites it?!
Beyond the unusual size, Note still keeps the body line of the Galaxy class with simple and sober shapes, but with a particular add: the S-Pen, an useful tool what resembles with the PDAs of a decade ago.
On a first sight, the Note is equipied with a 8MP camera, 1080p video recording with a LED flash, and a nuclear powerplant-like batery of 2500mAh. From my experience I noticed that it passed away only after 3 and a half day of heavy usage: Internet, taking photos, videos, and using as a GPS module.
On the hardware side, the exterior body size is matchet on the internal ,,soul”: an 1.4 GHz Arm-Cortex A-9 Processor and 1 GB of RAM memory.
The Tablet-Phone’s Display is impressing for any demand: from the huge 5.3” diagonal with SuperAmoled technology, to 1200X800 pixels resolution (full scale Tablet, isn’t it?) up to the fact that on the easel-sized display you can give reign to imagination and to the painting talent with the wonderful S-Pen. With this pen you can cut out and crop images from the Internet and edit them on a funny way, you can scribble on his sizeable ,,board” or you can take screen-captures by a push of a button.
The main menu is reminding you of his smaller cousin Galaxy S II, because Galaxy Note use the same Android Gingerbread (yet) with Touchizz 4 interface, wich assures you of simple operations and unique design.
The main menu is reminding you of his smaller cousin Galaxy S II, because Galaxy Note use the same Android Gingerbread (yet) with Touchizz 4 interface, wich assures you of simple operations and unique design.
The 16 GB of internal memory + the card slot are very useful to upload your music and video content up to 1080p, and the games, thanks to the powerful processor are very, very pleasant to play with! Asphalt 6 HD is beyond any imagination, a real blessing for gamers!
On the Internet you can surf with an ease of a Tablet, with Adobe Flash Player and 21Mbps speeds, you are aloud to swipe through pages within a blink of an eye.
You can syncronize the Calendar as you wish, and the Polar Office app helps you to view and edit your documents very useful to your office. The incorporated GPS module is proving very useful thaks to the brighted and big display, being a very trusteful friend to your long journeys.
As Samsung wanted to create the ultimate and complete device, the snaping and video recording part is without any compromise! This cameraphone has an 8MP back camera and yields very sharp images as you can see beyond. The LED flash added to the camera helps you to manage succesfuly as a photografer on the parties in night clubs.
The videos taked with this device have a maximum resolution of 1080p, at 30 frames/second. There is also present a front camera with 2MP suited for 3G/Skype calls.
In Quadrant, the results are telling everything: Galaxy Note scores 3750, a record in the real meaning!
Through Note, Samsung succeeds to create the ultimate and perfect device: a cross-over between a Smartphone and a Tablet, a new start-up by implementing the S-Pen that allows you to completely give reign to creation, top harware set, and by his abilities as a cameraphone, you can forget that there are specialized photo-video appliances.
Samsung Galaxy Note is not delicate and smooth, an not aimed to be! It is a powerful device, for powerful men, and... as its owners, it doesn’t go unnoticed!
You simplu like the Note or not! Uncompromising! More on: Samsung Mobilers Romania Mihai Nanu
Review? That's a glorified spec sheet at best. This forum is for people helping one another, mate. Not promoting your website.
P.S. Might wanna improve your English skills if you consider making a career out of writing articles. I mean no offence, of course.

It was their first post. I enjoyed reading it. If you did not, why comment so harshly? You have no manners.
I agree with planoman. I too enjoyed reading Manu_mihai's post. I love this mobile phone and really enjoy reading other people's opinions on it. ...good or bad.
I think bahkata's comment pretty unconstructive and his gramatically incorrect statement "P.S Might wanna improve your English skills if you consider making a career out of writing articles. I mean no offence, of course." quite ironic.
Anyway back to reading more posts about this great mobole
hehe I also agree, the OP was fantastic hehe.
Oh, and @bahkata, don't be such a negatron! lol. I didn't know XDA Forums was limited to people with perfect grammatical skills. He's a guy who posted his opinion, and I think he did a decent job in English. I'm an English teacher in a foreign country, and I have to say, it's not half bad. I've seen (and see) a lot worse on a daily basis .
Fellas, I very much enjoy reading every other person's opinion on the Note, just like you do. And because I read most of the review's online I could tell that a very large amount of what was written was copy-pasted and taken credit for( incidently - the parts were the english was good ).
Write a review, make it good, promote your other work with it - sure, I love an entrepreneur. Not this way tho.
I've written my share of reviews and find insolence like that , just a little bit, a personal insult. Nevertheless I tried to preserve a good tone and even be constructive. ( not ironic, even tho it was hard )
chrz
OP, there are huge holes in your review.....literally

Funny FaceUnlock Features

Now that the Rise has become a Fall with many stranded in ICeySch reboot hell, it's time for some fun thread.
FaceUnlock worked quite well recently, but reared its ugly head not recognizing me but should have said instead, "sorry, you are too stoned to recognize you".
Now maybe some dev is willing to add extra lines to this app's messages if possible, f.e.:
"Sorry, is that your dog staring at me?"
"Sorry, you are too f-ing drunk to even operate this device. Let alone driving."
"Hello, [insert name]'s secret boyfriend." On your gf/wife's Transformer of course.
Perhaps we have some more multilingual input lines, which can be added below. Eat your heart out.
I guess these enhancement pics made in Settings and somewhere stored on the device (there is no network traffic at that moment) and can be tagged with customized lines? Know zilch about coding and like to keep it that way, so I leave that up to you if you want. Now on a serious note, reading the latest leaks in iOS and Android concerning pics on our smartphones, this is a bit worrying to me or is it just me being paradroid?
Cheers.
"Your face, your a**, what's the difference?" /dukespeak
I haven't tried this yet, so if you're a guy should you redo it if you've shaved or grow a some facial hair, will it still work
Yes, in enhancement it takes different conditions, glasses, bearded into account, and adds them to a database somewhere. Read somewhere colored people have difficulties being recognized, so it's also racist.
"Please, leave the dark room for better lighting."
that was uncool. you could change what it says in the strings xml when decompiling the apk
Will look into that. What's uncool about it?
the racist stuff +the lighting conditions
^ That was not an opinion just an observation: http://androidcommunity.com/ice-cream-sandwich-face-unlock-has-issues-with-dark-skin-tones-20120126/
Wait... what?
You realise that op is (likely) being flippant and that skin tone does have an adverse effect on image contrast, making edge detection and hence recognition difficult. CCD cameras are nowhere near as sensitive as the human eye, until they start approaching that sensitivity software algorithms will struggle to identify some individuals.
There was a recently reported case of a person making a complaint to HP about face unlocking features on a laptop performing in a sub par manner depending on skin tone. Terms such as "racist" were banded about for a day or two by alarmist individuals (racism being a social prerogative, not an equipment function) until common sense prevailed and the news outlets stopped running the story.

Really a nice game. What could help you:
You should really improve your App-Icon. No offense, but it's really unimpressive and not 'catchy' at all.
That's just my opinion, but check out other app-icons at the store and you will understand what I'm saying.

New Icon
Good News! Just made a new icon for the game. What do you think about it?=)
It's better then before, but I think it could be even more better.
It's pretty dark and there is no much contrast. Also the "Free" is not that easy to read and I don't think it's the best font.
I'm not a graphic-guy ether, so I can not give you a lot specific advices but try to add some contrast between the different colors and lighten it all up a little bit.
