Hi guys
I was running Digitalhigh's 7.0 ROM when I I ran this tasker profile and my phone got stuck at the boot animation. I went back to TWRP and tried to restore an old backup and got as far as the Google screen and the phone reboots back to the bootloader warning. I even tried going back to Dirty Unicorns using these instructions. So I went to Heisenberg's "Return to Stock" tutorial (number 10 here) and went through step-by-step. I cannot get any further that the Google lock screen. I can get into bootloader but (obviously) no TWRP anymore.
I am totally stressing now and I think its borked for good. Please help!!
What version of twrp were you on?

Did you try the fastboot commands in the op the thread I linked? Mine did the same thing last night and now I've got it working good. Took me awhile because mistakes were made but it's working fine now.

Just tried.
Since I wiped everything should I try to push an old recovery with EFS and reboot?
Now I get the "Your device is corrupt and cannot be trusted">Google Screen>Reboot
I didn't no. I flashed the latest factory image of 6.0.1.
Then did the efs commands.

if i follow all of Heisenberg's instructions i will remove recovery. should i then flash TWRP 3.0.2-2 and run your codes from there?
Nope. Factory recovery is how I did everything. Once/if it everything gets up and running again then you can flash twrp 3.0.2-2. But I did everything with factory recovery.

OK. Flash the newest twrp then. Then enable mtp from twrp and it should accept commands.

how do i enable mtp?
So I'm still bootlooping. Please let me know if you can help further.
Figure out mtp? Sorry, was on a dinner date!
You enable mtp by pressing the mount button in twrp and tapping the mtp button. Then you should be able to do ADB commands.

No. I am still in bootloop. Thing I did was lock the bootloader as Heisenberg mentioned as his last step in his "return to stock" guide. Got rid of the warning (obviously) but it just keeps repeating the Google screen now.
Saw you were from GA, too.
Hopefully you can unlock the bootloader right now.

Hi all. I have my phone rooted and TWRP installed. However, I wiped my system after installed TWRP. Fortunately I installed back a rom "Clean ROM" by ADB sideload but after that whenever I press "reboot system". It brings me back to TWRP bootloader. Anyone knows how to solve this problem? My phone is ATT LG G2. I will be thankful if someone save my phone!
Hopefully you can load the backup you took...supposing you used TWRP to follow file numero uno. Not being sarcastic but all these developments are new and potentially dangerous.

I am a newbie :crying: I was actually on stock rom and installed TWRP. However, I couldn't reboot back to system after I flashed an img file by flashify. I was stuck at TWRP bootloader. I thought there was something wrong so that I attempted to wipe data if I could go back to system. unfortunately I wiped SYSTEM and got stuck at TWRP. Therefore, I installed back a rom to my phone by adb sideload to see if I could have my phone back. And It turn back to the first problem I had. Cannot reboot to system again. I am wondering if it is a problem of TWRP or the rom that I installed. :crying:

For the first solution, ADB cant read the rom somehow :crying: And I am going to try the second one. It takes me 10 hours to download the rom tho Thanks for helping me anyway
Use LGtools to restore to stock
I bricked my bootloop many times and this tool will replace all files like the iPhone DFU mode does or like Odin on Samsung, there is a few steps involved so read and re-read.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
hope it helps.
no need to kdz
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
everyone go and read development forum, lots of useful stuff
Also maybe you should get a download manager like FDM top assist with download speeds. And always MD5 them before flashing so things like this are less likly to happen.

I am running the new mm soak on my xt1575 and I have twrp 2.8.7.0 installed and working, however I wanted to update to twrp 2.8.7.1 using fastboot but when I do I get this error:

Any ideas?
It looks like I need to find a copy of the boot image that came with the mm soak. Anyone have it by chance?

Is it normal for it to take forever for mm to boot up after installing the new twrp?
When you install a new recovery, it automatically deletes the optimization (Dalvik) for all applications. First time would take forever and then after that, the boot times are slightly slower. Yes it's normal.

I've tried the KK safestrap on Jasmine 6.1 (5.0 LP) and as far as I can tell it doesn't work for me. The developer has stopped the support of it so our only hope is a tool to make it compatible or perhaps someone else to pick up the development of satestrap at some point if possible?
After 5.0 they had fireflash or flashfire I think. Can't remember the name and worked for me on with 5.0 before. which is like the safestrap

And since SS is loaded before the OS booted, then if there was a problem booting such as a bootloop, SS would allow you to recover a backup. Flashfire only works if the OS is able to load. Most important to me is the ability to access the OS files via the file manager and rename files. Many times when trying a MOD you may rename the original files and the new files will cause a bootloop. In this case SS will allow you to restore the backup files. Flashfire is useless for this.
Fireflash is sketchy at best. Lol.
But SS doesn't and for the note 3 prolly will never work on LP
