Hi, I keep getting a bug where it says my sandisk sd card is corrupt. I know it is not corrupt because it works fine in recovery, usb card reader, and in my old phone. I have tried several different aosp 6.0.1 ROMs and it seems to reproduce this bug after I install Xposed. Is there any fix or workaround for this bug? Here is some info and a couple logcat.txt files. Let me know if you need more info.
Device - Samsung Galaxy S4 SM-S975L (Straight Talk)
Current ROM - Broken-v4.9.1-jfltexx-6.0.1-OFFICIAL-20160826.zip
Xposed - xposed-v86.0-sdk23-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20160709
Logcats - drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BxpXwWLbF2t1VlQtYXd5OEs3ZlE&usp=sharing
I guess you have to copy/paste the https links because I am not aloud to post outside links yet.

I've been having a lot of problems recently (regardless of what ROM is installed).
Firstly, sometimes the touch screen would not work, rebooting/reflashing doesn't fix it. It will just randomly start working again.
Secondly, just now the SD card reader has stopped working completely. I have tried 5 cards and the G1 still refusing to acknowledge it, all cards work on my PC.
Now I've been able to deal with these issues until now, since I want to flash a rom however the slot won't work.
Also, I have read this thread > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=707051
( http://pastebin.com/472dAEMM )
my eecUnfixed is 0.
Does anyone think this problem is fixable ?
EDIT: probably worth noting, that logcat doesn't run
/ # logcat
logcat
/sbin/sh: logcat: not found
Also EDIT: I put DREAMING.nbh on the SD card to see if the bootloader can see it, unfortunatly it cannot even see the SD card here.
Bumping for help
It seems that the SD card is being sort of detected in the phone, running dmesg shows that the phone can see it.

Ok how about a different approch,
Is there anyway I can restore the phone to factory firmware without a working SD card slot?
So I am getting an "couldn't install on usb storage or sd card" error with paid apps via the google play store. It is preventing updating paid apps as well as installing new ones.
I have tried a handful of different fixes found by searching XDA, rootzwiki & google but nothing has made any headway with the problem.
Specifically, I have tried:
Changing kernels as per suggestions on the internet
Faux123's 9/09 released kernel, Franco's r6, Trinity Seven, default kernels with PA2.10-2.12 as well as the default kernel with AOKP build 1
I tried to find the smdl2tmp.asec file in the two places I found mentioned through my previous searches, but I am assuming that its location is for versions < JB since those directories don't seem to be present on my N7.
Many people also mention unmounting -> remounting the SD card fixes their issues, but with only the one storage location in the N7 it doesn't seem to apply to this device, unless I am really missing something.
I've also cleared the play stores cache specifically as well as doing a full on cache+dalvik cache clear from TWRP.
On AOKP the problem appeared immediately after flashing the new ROM but with ParanoidAndroid the problem manifested itself later. With PA I have been able to install paid apps but after a certain point it begins to kick this error my way. This would be acceptable since I don't use many paid apps except for the fact it is also blocking updates. Also, I don't think it is a faulty SDcard as everything else seems to work fine with regards to it.
If there is more useful information I can give please let me know and I will. Any ideas and advice is appreciated.
EDIT: I just read a workaround where someone installed the app on another device and then dropboxed themselves over the apk. I don't have another android device to try this with, but another idea would be to install the app manually after google play downloads it, but I can't seem to locate where the play store puts the files it downloads.
I am having that exact same problem with my Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx after installing a new ROM. I have actually installed two different ROM's, and I keep getting the same error message: "Couldn't be installed to USB storage or SD card."
I have tried searching for that tmp file, but couldn't find it. I also re-mounted the SD card, and I tried installing the app with the SD card safely removed and installed.
I can't even install my favorite XDA-Developers app, so I'm using the browser to navigate the forums. I dislike browsers.

Hello XDA Community,
I recently encountered quite a frustrating problem. I bought a brand new 64GB kingston microSD card yesterday. I was running stock android 4.4.2 on my SGH-1337m device. I recently flashed the "Kangakat" rom and although everything works perfectly, the only error I can't seem to fix is this SD issue. By flashing this ROM, my device model is now "GT-I9505G" 4.4.4 rather than SGH-1337m.
Upon entering the SD card it first says "preparing SD card" and then seconds later says "SD card safe to remove" unable to mount to the device.
I have tried many solutions offered on this forum but have't been able to find a successful one. I have tried to mount through settings, take out the SD card reboot then enter it again, the SD card IS placed in correctly, and the SD card does work, it is not corrupt (connects to computer perfectly).
I appreciate all your help,
Wasbo.

Sounds to me like your rom or kernel doesn't like exfat formatting which your sdcard probably has.
I would suggest reformatting as fat32 or finding a kernel that works.

Thank you very much for your help saj. I'm going to give that a try later today, I just have two follow up questions. First, do you recommend a kernel that is very effective? And second, my phone have been typically only connecting to 3G even though it's set to LTE preferred, could this be because of the kernel as well?

1) Read this thread and you'll find this issue has been discussed. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2307779 See the last post for a compatible kernel. Be sure to get the right kernel for your device.
2) Not likely connected to kernel but I could be wrong. Are you sure there is LTE coverage where you are located?
My apps had read only access on sd card so i did some changes on platform.xml file but it didn't work also it got worse my camera isn't working anymore i can't take screenshots i can't save or download anything i tried sdfix app but it didn't work either what should i do
n900 with 5.0
Flash a stock ROM in Odin and see if that fixes the problem.
I seem to have been at this for hours now. I finally got Xposed framework on my Tab S and Note 4 and decided to try Marshmallow SD fix
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-marshmallow-sd-fix-write-t3403263/page29
and then EXT SD fix
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/fix-extsd-fix-v1-0b-2016-01-18-t3296266
In each case going to Titanium backup it just doesn't work - I get the same old "Folder is not writable" message for anything on the SD card.
Since many people are having success - I'm assuming this is because of the Samsung version of Xposed framework ?
I don't know but nothing I do seems to work.
Any suggestions / advice - has anyone got this to work on their tab s or note 4?
