I had the EXACT same problem m8....use this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1918601
Download the patch on your SD card use file manager to install the app....patch the new version. restore your phone to any backup you might have...reboot...your operator will now show and you will be able to make phone calls! I think I spent about 8 hours with this problem last night before I came across that thread. The guy is a life saver!
Hi guys,
A few days ago I bought my note 3.
It was running on android 4.3.
My csc was N9005LUXDMK1.
My 4g reception was amazing.
Because my csc was LUX I didn't get the update to 4.4.2
So I flashed a version from the Netherlands with csc N9005PHNENA2.
Everything went fine, but since then I lost the option LTE in network modes.
I'm very frustrated about that. The 4g was one of the reasons I bought this phone.
Does anyone have a solution or knows the reason why I lost LTE?
It would be a great help if someone could give me a solution.
Can I go back to 4.3, the original version with LUX csc?
Thx in advance

Hi guys,
I am new to Samsung but like many I was tempted by the Note 4. I bought my Note 4 in Dubai (unlocked and not tied to any provider) but when I tried using it in the UK with a UK SIM (EE) I am not able to make/receive calls when set on LTE/WCDMA/GSM but I can when I select GSM Only. Samsung UK is not interested, Samsung Dubai poit me towards Samsung Egypt (because apparently this is an Egypt region phone) and Samsung Egypt do not understand what my problem is and keep sending my region unblock codes when the phone is not region locked.
Has anyone had this before and if yes what did you do to fix this?

I have been reading a lot about rooting and flashing ROMs but being new to this I am not confident enough to get into all that. I hope there is a solution without the need for rooting !!!

SIM works on my HTC One and 4G signal here good so I do not think it is the SIM. I updated firmware two days ago using Kies but no change. I am starting to suspect some sort of network blacklisting by Samsung but not sure. I also spoke to my network provider and problem not with them.
I want to test the phone in Middle East first to make sure that it is not some hardware fault bit if not my only option may be rooting and flashing different ROMs. I am also hoping that Lollipop may solve it but no way to get it now as I am not rooted yet.

Download Samsung phone info from play store, check your region, also you can check knox warranty is void? U can also check refurbishment check from same app, seems to me u purchased online, not from authorised store of dubai.

This are the mine screen shot for dubai rom, u can compare.
Thanks for the screenshots. I compared with yours and it is now even more clear that mine is an Egypt phone. Do you know if I can flash the UAE firmware on my phone with or without rooting and if that would work so that the CP, SP and CSC are the same as yours rather than the Egypt ones?

Yes root is not required to flash U.A.E firmware, u will get all as mine, u need to clear cache & data before & after flashing through odin.

my friends have this similar problem and its fix
This is how "you need a working sim from the country when you buy the samsung phone"
all you have to do is make a international call for 15 minutes to the original country
example u bought the phone in egypt so u need a working egypt simcard just call the operator in egypt and listen to the operator for 15 minuts from UK after 15 minutes (make it 20 minutes just in case) turn off your phone and change it with the UK sim card
this method works for me
u dont need to flash or root the phone
just remember this method only work with samsung unlock phones from middle east
Hello guys,
I am using a S7 Edge SM-G9350 but in Germany I cannot connect it to the german mobile networks. What can I do to make it happen?
Do I have to change the Firmware?
Pls help me
I have a possibly similar issue like this. I'll see if I can fix mine, then I'll see if I can help you.
(btw I've seen you on a lot of SM-G9350 threads lol.)
Ok, I've found the most likely reason. You need to flash your home country 's CSC file.
Hi i live in iran. The spo2 sesnor dosnt work here and also bixby vision doesn't work completely here. In s7 i just changed rom with oidin and everything work.
But in s8 this method doesnt work
I already flashed german and uk rom but csc still didnt change. If the problem is csc how can i chanfe it without rooting?

There is a whole thread about carrier switching in this very forum
the only thing you need is a supporting sim card to be inserted into the phone. the sim card has to be from a local carrier that supports the CSC features

I recenlty bought Galaxy S8 Duos from ebay and was in the same situation. My CSC was EGY while both sim cards from Czech Republic. Phone was functional but for example Samsung Members app showed me offers related to Egypt which was quite wierd.
I was browsing lot of forums how to change CSC code and almost all methods requires flashing new firmware or root the phone. What I did after couple of days - factory reset from the menu while both CZ sims were inserted. Phone than started using CSC ETL (Czech Republic unbranded) automatically. No need to do anything else.
Hope this help someone...

Do you have a windows PC with ODIN installed? You can grab a CSC file you desire and manually flash it onto your phone, but results may vary.
