Phone never uses more than 1.2 GB of ram in my phone and closes apps even if they are in protected app list and in recent apps list. Foe example I have greenify as protected and in recent apps list even with lock that doesn't let me close it with clear all. When I open greenify it refreshes and tells me it was closed.
Help me
1. Get kernel adiutor app and change vram to 300mb (default is 250mb),, you can up it up if you want to as well... 2. Reboot. 3. Profit

SCRIPT:
DECRAPIFIER:
It works on a simple mechanism. When you run the script with root permission in Script Manager it moves all the apks listed in the script to a seperate folder so that it frees your internal memory gives some RAM boost. It is just like Freeze function of Titanium Backup.
It helps saving battery too because there will be less apps installed after running this script.
>>>>>>YOU LOSE THE WIDGETS<<<<<<
CRAPIFIER:
It simply reverts the move done by decrapifier script. Crapifies your Internal
NOTE:
YOU CAN DELETE THE COMMAND FOR A PARTICULAR APP IF YOU DONT WANT IT TO BE DISABLED.
NOTE:
APP DATA IS NOT LOST IN THIS PROCESS SO IT IS SAFE TO USE IT
HOW TO USE:
1. Install Script Manager (link given down)
2. Run Decrapifier as root
3. Enjoy.
HOW TO DISABLE:
4. Run Crapifier
5. Enjoy.
TWEAK:
This tweak NOS'd improves the overall performance of your phone. It cleans up junk, sets some values, Zipaligns, SQlite's , some changes in governor settings, remounts , partition handling, etc.. and TAADA... a faster phone. Sometimes improvement may not be that good if your phone is already in good condition.. but it sure improves performance.
HOW TO USE:
1. Go to CWM.
2. Install the zip.
3. Reboot.
4. Enjoy.

It should work. I tried on JB once; it increased performance slightly (because I had no apps installed). It's a good script. Try it.

You can flash aroma file manager in cwm (search xda for it) and then you can delete any scripts in init.d & any custom default.prop

Locking launcher in memory means the launcher task does not end or get closed when the ram is cleared - keeping it in memory means it doesn't redraw itself when the ram is cleared
Advantages
launcher is smoother & doesn't redraw itself
Disadvantages
more overall ram is used
I wouldn't really do it on our device with custom launchers as our device has low ram - ending the launcher task so it redraws maybe helpful
In future if you don't know what something means Google it

Well currently I'm also using stock with some mods but the main issue is battery drain so which ROM can I use to reduce battery drain..
I got an increase in battery life an amazing one that is by doing the privacy guard thingy that is mentioned in the forum. You switch off wake up autostart and keep awake in advance options in the advance tab under privacy guard which is in the privacy tab and the battery increase was insane. Search the forum for a better tutorial. It will surely help

1- Do a Dalvik cache wipe.
2- Flash a custom kernel. [I'd suggest Sandy 1.3 CPUQuiet build]
3- Keep governor at interactive>>runnable [this is the default, optimized for more battery] or interactive>>load_stats [this should improve performance at higher loads]
4- Enable MSM Thermal [this should fix the heating problem]
5- use Greenify 2.6+ with Xposed, if you're not using it already [this should help in hibernation]
6- Use Recently [this should stop the infamous memory leak Lollipop is known for]
7- Use Amplify for controlling all device wakelocks [this should help maintaining the CPU activity]
8- You can access PrivacyGuard and close the wake up and keep awake switches for all apps you think are necessary [this should reduce the CPU idle usage]
^Do all these and I don't think you need to worry about your battery at all.
Also, can you tell me which app uses most of your battery?

1- MSM Thermal is actually a kernel feature. You may use Device Control to activate it.
1- Also you can use Temperature Throttle from TricksterMod.
2- Xposed for our device is a pain in the butt.
Try to find an xposed sdk21 arm64 zip. Normal arm builds won't work because we have an arm64 CPU. The zip is unstable though. Flash it and reboot.
Then find an apk file xposed 3 alpha 3
If you can't find them I will provide the links soon.
Then use the modules you want.
3- classic. The PrivacyGuard thing should help in this.
I'm being curious, but what kind of mods have you originally applied on your phone?

Hello all!
I have a Galaxy Note 4 910C(exynos), rooted and using DN5, and I always see people talking about bloatware that comes pre installed and are useless.
I'm wondering what are acutally those and how do I remove them?
Thx in advance!
since you'r rooted, use titanium backup. You can try the app called Greenify or simply disable those apps your app manager.

For a rooted device, KNOX related apps are bloatwares since rooted KNOX disabled & can't be used on a rooted device.
The other bloatware is user preference.

That's exactly what I mean, any apps that you don't need.
You can even remove phone (if you never use your Note 4 for a phone call ) & Touchwiz.
Rule of thumb, if you never heard of it & it's not inside the App Drawer, don't delete it
NOTE: TouchWiz is not in the app drawer
I do it in a simpler way. First I clear the data from settings and then using root explorer I go to system/app folder and I directly delete preinstalled apps that I never use for example- samsung push service, mobile print, chat on, hangouts, google books, yahoo weather, etc. Theres another folder called system/priv-app
WARNING: Don't delete apps you have absolutely no idea about. It can cause your phone's OS to malfunction.

Usually what i do is backup the app before i uninstall it to see if i notice any system instability caused by uninstalling it.

Hmmmm.......
Try only 3 cores online with schedule workload on awake CPU option ticked and yes frequency on 960Mhz is recommended.....You can also try four cores with 729 Mhz.
I/O scheduler on noop and read a head value 1024 kb
Disable I/O status.
Disable Kernel Same page merging
Keep low memory killer on medium or light.
On Virtual memory...Lower the swapiness to say 40 or 30
.
.
Under tools section disable Data sharing.
Hit thanks if it helps
