LTE/WCDMA/GSM setting after some time switch to WCDMA/GSM
I see only H+ but not 4g....
APN set correctly
What else can I check?
My provider doesn't support voice via lte. So phone must switch from lte to 3g for voice.
If I set via service menu preferred network to LTE than internet work via 4g but voice doesn't work.
If I set preferred network to auto than lte doesn't work Only 3g.
I cant find any option to change the network type such as LTE only or WDMA only...i only saw network mode which has only two option which is LTE/CDMA and CDMA only....any solution for this?
hi,
i bought a yureka, everything is great. its just that i'm unable to use 3G or LTE on my device.
it always shows edge. on my device. and runs 2G
in mobile networks preferred network type is LTE. and i have LTE service in my area.
on phone info *#*#4636#*#* By default the preferred network comes as LTE/GSM auto(PRL) and network type shows EDGE.
i have tried changing the preferred network to WCDMA preferred, then radio on/off, still network type shows as EDGE.
Plz guys.....I hope u can solve this problem....the sim is perfectly working in other phones!!!!
Hi,
What you need to do is as follows:
1) Put your LTE Sim in Sim 1 Slot
2) in Sim settings for Sim 1 select LTE preferred - for 4G
If you want to use 3G then select 3G
3) dial *#*#4636#*#*
4) select - WCDMA Only - for 3g
Select - LTE only - for Lte network ( when u select lte/ gsm auto it will revert back to edge if no proper LTE signal is available)
Now you are good to go. You don't need to change the sim settings if your reboot. But you need to change the settings in phone info everytime you reboot as it will reset to LTE / GSM Auto prl.

But Sir, the network mode goes into HSPA. Will I be able to connect to my 4G network?
If you do as stated above you will be definitely on 4G dear. I'm doing the same on CM 13 on yureka

I tried it but no good
J730F
current ROM: RR-O-v6.1.0
Hello community,
I have a network connection problem:
No matter with which ROM - except the official Samsung 8.1 - I can not select an LTE mode on SIM slot 1. Although LTE is always preferred in the connection properties, it always stays in H + or EDGE. Even about the * *#*#4636#*#* function and and there "LTE Only" or "LTE / UMTS auto (PRL)" does not work. The mode in SIM1 remains in HSDPA or EDGE. It only switches to the respective mode if I set GSM only or WCDMA only. Then he also changes the net type. LTE does not work here. Although LTE is present - because with the original Sasmung8.1 floor works the conversion - the only error: after a restart is always WCDMA preferred in it.
I can use different Custom ROm (everything formally properly formatted before) - no ROM works.
The 2nd problem: on SIM2 slot no incoming calls go. Call can be accepted, but no sound is heard - but I call with SIM2 everything is as usual without error.
What do you have for tips?
I would like to switch to Consumer Cellular using a Galaxy S5 G900T. I can connect to the network and send/receive SMS but no calling in or out. It has a stock ROM, baseband version G900TUVU1GQC2. CC customer support insists that the phone is not voLTE capable but that is nonsense. I do not find an Advanced Calling option in the Wireless and networks settings to turn on voLTE, unlike my Verizon G900V. There is an option in the Phone app settings to turn on voLTE preferred and that is turned on. CC’s own web site even shows this as an option to enable voLTE. Under Settings → More Networks → Mobile Networks → Network Mode I have four options: LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect), WCDMA/GSM (auto connect), WCDMA only and GSM only. LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect) is selected. Another idiosyncrasy seems to be that the 4GLTE icon disappears if I turn on Wi-Fi. One other piece of information: I pulled the SIM card from by G900V and put in the phone. It connects to the VZW network and I tried dialing my landline. I get an Out of Service Area message. I am comfortable flashing the ROM if need be.
