Hello, i need the stock rom for Huawei P8 lite because in my country the carrier sells the phone with the second sim disabled from rom software.
I just need the stock rom to replace it.
Thx in advance.
//Edit:
How to enable dual sim:
1. Download ROM: https://mega.co.nz/#!rcFDzZSa!V1zxHlmSqIvhF1_FjIOsyu762s8ZURmYDRtxcQeDyI0
2. Read the instructions in the archive which you have downloaded. Pay attention!!! You must flash the second file also - that enables dual sim.
3 If u followed the instructions corectly u should have dual sim.
Many thanks to @kjartandi !!!
Official downloads if anyone needs it: consumer.huawei.com/at/mobile-phones/support/downloads/p8lite-at.htm
Here are the official downloads
official downloads: consumer.huawei.com/at/mobile-phones/support/downloads/p8lite-at.htm
@kjartandi does this rom is for dual sim version of the phone? because i need the stock rom which has the dual sim integration. my phone comes from the carrier with single sim rom software
Is your p8lite dual sim? Did you test it with nano and micro sim?
Thx in advance.

theoretically yes beacause all p8lite are dual sim by manufacturer
hello. i followed the same steps and the results are following:
-P8Lite Orange RO, single sim so called variant
-Flashed the ROM via tutorial, Step1 and then Step2.
- ROM has now dual card(sim) management enabled. Upon start it requieres 2 PIN's, each for every sim.
Only SIM1 has signal, sim2 has absolute no signal. When sim1 is disabled from dualcard management only then sim2 has signal. did a reset, started from scratch, same story.
is there any way to resolve this. to make it completely Dual Sim Full Active, as it should be from Huawei. The Huawei P8lite codename is ALE-L21. No other variant.
from huawei site i could not download any ROM.

OP, I'm glad you got it fixed. Continuing this thread in XDA Assist is not the appropriate place. However you've found a solution for your device that can help others so I'm going to ask a moderator to move this thread here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. Also see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2073370. Perhaps you could write a guide that would help others with your device.

I've seen the same problem reported here:
htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1016301&page=7
The user fixed the problem flashing the spanish firmware.
I've downloaded both firmwares (MEGA and Espana). The only difference is in the "step2" folder (it doesn't exists in Spanish firmware). Step1 folder IS THE SAME.
So, in my opinion you shuld try to flash only the "Step1" folder and check if all is ok.
Let us know if this fixes your problem

Afew days ago I bought one from Vodafone in Greece which was branded and thus it supported only one sim card. I just flashed the official B046 firmware and the phone now is dual sim. Of course it is nοt Dual Sim Active as very few and expensive phones are. It's a regular Dual Sim Standby phone which disactivates reception on one while on a call on the other. Don't flash the "Spanish" firmware. I did, a week ago, and I ended up with a phone that thought that it had firmware B311 and that it was a different model. I couldn't even do a hard reset! I then downloaded the Mega firmware, flashed Step 2 first, then Step 1, then Step 2 again and then I did a hard reset. Now the phone works brilliantly.
i have flashed the spanish firmware. same story. only one sim at a time has signal. at one point both did not have signal, kinda paniked. the spanish firmare allowed me a reset and the data about phone and firmware was same B046.
I am trying now to do step2, then step1, then step2 again than a reset. hopefully it will bring something
They probably rectified the problem and they are now offering the correct firmware for downloading.
no succes.
so... i have no other idea.
i have used the Mega download with 2 steps. i have used the spanish firmware. all of them have the same build number.
everything goes smooth while "upgrading" via sdcard.
i do not know what to try. it is interesting that i have signal on sim2 only after i disable sim1. when sim2 has 4g data enabled then both sims do not have any signal
i have downloaded all available firmwares. i even downgraded to b041 from b046b. SIM1 has signal, sim2 has no signal. when one is deactivated , the other one has signal.
i did a hard reset every time after the flash. No success! can anybody with more knowledge on this investigate and help.

Your sims supports 2G? Because when you enable all the 2 SIMS, the second one goes in 2G.
For example, in my case (H3G Italy), I can't use my SIM in 2G, so if I enable the 2-SIM mode, the second sim has no signal.
I must use (as second SIM) another operator which supports 2G mode.
i used the same sims in another p8lite(dual sim from the store). it is not the sims
Dear Admin, please mark issue as Unsolved.
i have tried 5different sims. just to be sure. same issue.
i have flashed again the Firmware from Mega file. step 1(b046b) and step 2. no resolution.
i have downloaded from huawei 3 firmwares. one called open market(b046b), one marketspecific(b046b), one from malaesia(b311). flashed them all, same issue.
Phone works great, yet it is a shame i can not use it as Huawei designed it(aka dual sim full active, signal on both sims simultaneosly)
there are P8Lites , like mine, with vendor specific firmware, where the second sim is disabled. there are users who managed to free the sim2 slot without any issue yet there are users who could not do that. what exactly did the vendors do is unknow for now and we need a dev for a custom rom.
please take a look!
ps: there are users who say that the latest OTA update(b052) brings signal to sim2, but it is not confirmed by many
http://consumer.huawei.com/es/support/products/index.htm?pro=ALE-L21 the open market firmware

Only a clarification: P8 Lite IS NOT DUAL SIM FULL ACTIVE, it is Dual Sim Dual Standby: the 2 Sims works concurrently, but when you receive a call on one sim, the other goes offline.

Hi guys,
I'm a little noob with geek stuff but still I like to do it by myself.
Story: I went abroad for a six months trip and I bought a P8 lite in Japan (Soft bank carrier). The model is a ALE-L02-C111B210 (single sim) and from my search on the forum, I understand that it is the same as L21 except LTE frequencies may not work. I have different ideas but I'd like to check before doing anything stupid (which I am )
The phone has a lot of japanese crappy apps that I cannot uninstall and no updates are provided by this carrier. That why I want to root it and debrand it.
1- When I put my european simcard, it ask me for a network unlock code. I cannot get it from the carrier because my account was closed and they don't want to hear anything. I then found website who can give me a "generic" unlock code for this device against 10€. Before paying for a code, I'd like to know if rooting the phone and puting a custom/unbrand rom, it will also unlock the network or not. I compare to my old iphone who can be unlocked once rooted
2- I read a LOT of threds about L21 and several people with the L02 used the video for RootJunky who give all required files included a firmware file but an old one I think (V100R001C636B120).
Can replace it with one I got from huawei website but following the same procedure ? for instance : HUAWEI P8 Lite Firmware(ALE-L21, Andriod 6.0, EMUI 4.0, C432B565, Austria, Single SIM, Channel-Others)
3- dumb question. what's the stock rom for ? because it is only 34Mb on the RootJunky repository
Thanks a lot for any help/answer

1) Which website? Are you sure it is safe? Don't give credit card information on such sites without confirmation. Iphone rooted?Iphone can be unlock and jail break but remember root is different from jailbreaking.
2) You may flash other country firmware. It's no big deal. But you may need to unlock bootloader.
3) stock rom is the default rom that phone comes with. Its size is usually above 1GB. 34MB can't be stock rom.

Hi guys, I'm facing a problem with CM14 SIM detection with this version of hardware.
If any developer can help, I'm happy to test any fix you can provide.
So, 'till now:
- Flash CW 14 from here: http://www.cyanogenmods.org/forums/topic/update-moto-x-pure-cm14-cyanogenmod-14-nougat-7-0-rom/
- I'm follow the steps of page and download the last build from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=profile&uid=95897840722645866 (cm-14.1-20161127-UNOFFICIAL-clark.zip)
- Clean install with TWRP;
- Factory reset; -> No sim detected
- Flash marshmellow modem from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...odem-flashable-modem-files-eu-single-t3297051 -> No sim detected
so that it is... just say a word and I'll try my best.

I owned a Honor 8 FRD-L09C185 version which supports dual sim but no volte. I'm from India and I use Jio SIM as my daily driver. For the sake of all other Non-Indians, Jio sim only support volte and the phones without volte uses an app called 'JIO4G VOICE'. The app often closes in the back ground & requires always ON data and its buggy. Hence I didn't receive messages or calls most of the time. Recently I heard about Honor 8 in India receiving volte support. Later on I learned that the Indian version of Honor is FRD-L02C675 and supports only single sim with volte support.
There were numerous threads for RETURNING TO STOCK ROM, ROLLING BACK TO EMUI4.1, REBRANDING CHINESE PHONES TO FRD-L09/FRD-L04. I wasted around a week trying to figure out a way to Rebrand my FRD-L09 to FRD-L02. Below are the links to the few xda threads which I had tried and failed.
1. https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/guide-flashing-unapproved-firmwares-t3668306
2. https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/help/debrand-frd-al00-to-frd-l09-update-to-t3552445
After a lot of extensive searching in google and xda, I came across this xda thread from gopinaidu77. Here is the link : https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/guide-honor-8-t3612873
Now I know most of your complaining about this being a duplicate post, but if you have read his post he warns of loosing dual sim feature if Rebranded to FRD-L02. I did everything as he said on the post and successfully. I checked 'About Phone' from Settings and found it as FRD-L02c675 and also found 'Volte' in Connections . Also I noticed no dual sim support like he said in the aforementioned post.
Now for some reason I rooted my phone, I think I rooted to install Dolby Surround feature or Viper4Android. Later I couldn't download many apps from playstore and couldn't use Samsung Pay on Gear S3(US version obviously, thank God) since my device wasn't verified. So I Unrooted my phone, wiped data/cache, the usual procedure.
When the device turned on my device was back to normal, but then later I found out that I have support for dual sim support as well as Volte. I don't know how this happened but anyone else is welcome to try. Will post screenshots later, since I don't have any micro sims lying around.
TIPS BEFORE REBRANDING (TRUST ME I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING THAT COULD GO WRONG):
1. Backup everything to your PC/sdcard (via TWRP only)
2.Be patient, the whole process takes a lot of time and anything can go wrong and you may have to do it again.
3. Keep another phone as backup till you have completed the procedure.
4. I don't about other devices, but Honor 8 is totally unbrickable
a. I forgot to flash system file once and got func() error code; like said in other threads, drain your phone's battery
completely. Then enter fastboot mode (vol down+power), it works(tried twice).
b. Huawei Multi Tool is so useful and can be used easily to unbrick the device.
5. Know the procedure well and do it in order. Don't be careless!
6. Rebranding works only in EMUI4.1 , if you try in in EMUI5 you will brick your device. So rollback!
7. Finally thank the fellow xda members who have helped you.
Rebranding Procedure - Follow the Guide by gopinaidu77
Link once again : https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/guide-honor-8-t3612873
The procedure worked and as for the support for Dual SIM & Volte, someone try what I did & share what happened so that other can benefit.
Also the firmware for FRD-L02 shared by gopinaidu77 and also available from honor website was found to be corrupted. I found a link to firmwares from another xda member, link : https://mega.nz/#F!hTRlyQpJ!PhjE6p3XJ0PeSSVXgXVLDA

The procedure worked and as for the support for Dual SIM & Volte, someone try what I did & share what happened so that other can benefit.
Also the firmware for FRD-L02 shared by gopinaidu77 and also available from honor website was found to be corrupted. I found a link to firmwares from another xda member, link : https://mega.nz/#F!hTRlyQpJ!PhjE6p3XJ0PeSSVXgXVLDA

All are good but only tell me one thing about. How dual sim working properly in your case. do you try dual sim. If yes then give me process how did you get it dual sim in FRD-L02C675. BECAUSE i have FRD-L09C185 also and i want to use dual sim. I know the process of rebranding. An i also done with FRD-L04 and revert back also because there have no volte. But today I read your post and found it's possible. So tell me the process after rebranding. after rebranding procedures to get volte. Please tell me and also tell me you tried two sim together or not. I mean I want to know that if technical error show two sim slot but not in real present. I mean you understand what I mean. and please mail me also if you have time.
Hi,
I've rebranded my Chinese AL10 to L09 and am now trying to update to B412-FULL (OTA official update, in system update if I select download latest full package it find this). When I try to install this is all seems to work (no errors are shown) but it puts me into a boot loop. The only way I've found I can get out of this is to rollback via the force update method (using microSD card's dload folder). Once back in EMUI 4, I can do a system update to get back to B360 (EMUI 5). Does anyone know if this is as far as I can update - is this some issue with any newer EMUI version and the rebrand maybe?
Thanks
