Hello to everyone,
I'm new on this awesome forum (every problem on my older android devies,I've found fix here!).
Now i've got a Huawei p8 lite with 6.0 MM build b574,rooted,bootloader unlocked with twrp 3.0.2 recovery and a few days ago I've installed Xposed v86 without problems.
But I've noticed is with dialer and contacts app with default or with my package (KAIP Prime Awesome!),every time I try to call someone clicking on contact (throught dialer or contact app)
the call crash instantly every time. (I can receive and answer to incoming call)
I've tried with v86 wanam/20160709 version but after fews days doesn't change the situation
Anyone know about this problem?
I hope in an answer soon or I have to uninstall xposed
Thankssssss

You have to uninstall Xposed or if you want Xposed then install sokoban's rom. It is only rom working perfectly with Xposed framework without any issues.
Uhm.... i was hoping in a better answer ahahha f**k,really? there will never be an upgrade for fixing this? I'm the only one with this problem?

I have come to the conclusion, since some get problems with the xposed, and others don't, that if you install Xposed after a clean install or after a reset, you get less possibilities to face these errors.
I have tried both xposed, and depending on the condition of the phone I would get the same problem.
So, I would advise you to reset the phone, and then install the xposed.

Even without Xposed I experience same issue sometimes. I fix it by rebooting my phone
I had the same Issue with xposed 85.10.
I will try 87.10 by wanam now.

Had no problems yet.
I always use this version of Xposed installer with official v87 framework and I had no issues with stock rom
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758
I'm an honor 4x user. Thanks guys for creating this thread. I'm gonna try your solutions.
Edit: what worked for me, was that I checked the "mount system partition" in TWRP settings before flashing the wanam xposed and it solved the call problem. But without enabling mount system only or something (don't remember exactly), I still had the problem even with wanam xposed.

I cant't succeed installing xposed framework, i try many times.
I flash zip in twrp everything goes well but the xposed apk says that the sdk is not compatible yet.
This is the message
Search for Xposed for marshmallow... you are using the wrong version
hi danielexda,
i had this problem too. delete your xposed installer, switch of phone, wait a few seconds, switch on and search and use xposed installer 3.1.1.
than you can install version 87 (arm64) via download or as a zip.
good luck

I am a kitkat 4.4.2 user with xposed 2.7 experimental version installed.
I am experiencing login problem after clearing my google apps, I can't login to any google apps when xposed is installed but the problem is gone when I uninstall it.
Does anyone here know how to solve the login problem without uninstalling xposed?

Hi guys,
This is an old problem that I thought was limited to one app, but recently I stumbled into it on many others.
Some drop-list selection options causes their respective app to crash, such as choosing whether the number is a mobile phone or a home phone is the stock contacts app, some buying options in eBay, etc.
Phone is on stock Kitkat ROM, rooted, Xposed installed with many modules including Wanam Xposed.
Is this a known bug that is caused by something I can uninstall? If not, I am up to suggestions on how to find out what the problem is and fix it. I know my way around so please do not hesitate to suggest advanced solutions. If nothing works I'll flash a new stock ROM and start fresh of course, but I prefer not to do that if there's a less invasive solution.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

i guess it's an Xposed Module issue.
I can't define which xposed module does that, so you will have to test while each one is disabled, and see if the problem no longer occurs, if still occurs then disable another module and test again....etc
neither stock ROM or root cause that, so it's probably Xposed.

Thanks for replying, and for the suggestion, will try it soon and report back.
Sorry for the delay in replying, I had a hectic few weeks.
The prpblem disappeared when I deleted the Xposed module named "Force FastScroll".
The issue is resolved now.
I can confirm that it works on my honor 5c. Can't wait to get some modules!

I went to https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 and downloaded the apk package at the end of the first post. After enabling install from unknown sources I installed the package. Once you open the app, press the button which says version 88.1 and grant the app root access. Tap install, reboot when prompted and you should be good to go.
Wow, so no need to flash anything with twrp! A good step ahead for xposed!
Thanks, I'll try asap!

Hi,
I tried to install Xposed on Honor 5C rooted with SuperSU but I got the installed but not active issue...
So I unrooted with SuperSU app, flashed unSU.zip and flashed stock boot image.
Then I got Magisk and installed Xposed sytemless module. Guess what? Still same xposed issue, installed but not active! I can activate it and use it when I make a "soft" reboot. But if I shutdown phone or restart it Xposed is not working.
Any ideas?
I'm having the same issue and it doesn't seem to be restricted to our phone. I guess we just have to wait for an official solution.
5c behavior is quite strange...
I had the issue with Xposed not activated but it's more than a week that it is flawlessly working
Can it have something to do with language? I was using my phone with Italian language, switched to English to use custom fonts. I can't remember exactly but seems to me Xposed started working when I switched language!!

According to the new update it was an issue with the installer.
Updated to 88.2 and the issue is happening again!!
Xposed was released for Oreo! Been so long don't know where to start.
EDIT: (I was just being dumb)
Grab the systemless version. Easiest way is through Magisk. Just make sure your on 15.2 or grab it via the link below.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-systemless-xposed-t3388268
I think the best method is using the systemless version for magisk, I just tried it and it works.
Simpy go into modules and you will see the sdk27 version at the very bottom: tap on it, you see there is an updated xposed manager apk made for the new magisk version.
Download the apk, install the module, reboot, install apk, reboot.
Works with no problems
Enjoy

I feel dumb but I don't see xposed anywhere in the modules section of the Magisk Manager app.
Is there some other way I should be finding modules? I click on the hamburger menu and then downloads and there's about 30 or so listed.

Never mind. I figured out I had to be on Magisk 15.2. I was on 14.5.
So anyway I downloaded the Xposed Installer that is linked in Magisk Manager and installed it. Then I installed Xposed inside of Magisk. The only problem is the Xposed Installer crashes every time I click on a module to download. Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes, I confirm, I don't know if it's caused by Magisk or because it's just a beta...
Anyway there is a workaround, instead of downloading the module from xposed manager, download the apk of the module from internet (official repo website or from whatever you want), because when you are going to install and enable the modules there are no problems, and after a reboot they're working.
Updated op to reflect install options. Happy modding everyone!
Success! ?
.. now for that network speed in the status bar hehe

Yeah I did everything the same as the way you installed nougat Xposed systemlessly. Also the framework module caused a lot of choppiness on my phone so I uninstalled it anyways
Just a head's up that MinMinGuard causes my Pixel to start crashing like crazy
I have been thinking of installing this since last night, but with it still in beta and modules still needing fixed for 8.1 I just can't see any reason (other than something new for me to play with) that will benefit me enough to deal with the SafetyNet failure.
How is Xposed for 8.1 now? Any updates on this? Thanks! @sliding_billy

I am happily enjoying the stock ROM on my XL and I keep the same installed on my wife's Pixel. I spent years swapping out custom ROMs on various devices and expected to do the same when I got the PIxels (very shortly after released almost 2 years ago). After the initial shortage of custom ROMs (due to the new OS engineering method) subsided and plenty came out, I realized there was nothing I was missing enough to deal with running custom and not being able to do a monthly update that takes me literally less than 10 minutes. Besides not missing anything, there is pretty much no bloat I need to get rid of, and the device still runs great even with a handful of "always on" apps. Probably best for you to look at the development sub-forum and do your research there and ask questions.
haven't used xposed in years. Is it still worth it with the recent android OS's?

That's like asking, "which tastes better, vanilla or chocolate?" Make a twrp backup, and give it a try, what you like, another may hate. For me, it's fun to add features when I'm using a rom that is lacking in that department.
Hi guys !
I just bought the Greenify app in order to have access to the GCM Push Notification and I just realized it was available only with the Xposed extension.
So my question is : Is Xposed stable enough to work with Oreo, specially with a custom ROM ? (AEX)
Thanks !
I always install Xposed, haven't had any issues besides certain modules not working on Oreo (and nougat), almost all modules work fine, the only one that I remember not getting to work is Unicon. I have had Xposed on AEX and had no issues (I've never used greenify though, so idk about greenify specifically)

Yeah, forgot to mention that, its not a bootloop issue, first boot with xposed can take up to 15-20 minutes, usually mine took about 10-15, after that app boots should be normal.
