i recently bought an N900 note 3 and after some research and phone manipulation i'm totally confused about the Soc and CPU
i saw many peoples wondering why their N900 shows only 4 cores instead of 8 , i at first i thought that my device is the faulty one because everyone was seeing only 4 cores i was seeing 8 using all apps
but after some more focusing i get panic after seeing that i have an 8 cores device (Exynos 5420 ) which does not meet the real reference , in another word i searched about the Exynos 5420 and i found that its composed of 4+4 cores the first one is 4 cores of Cortex-A15 : 1.9 Ghz and the second is 1.3 Ghz but in my case both are 1.9 Ghz ( as shown in the attachment )
i start to really fear that my device isn't genuine but except for that thing every other details looks normal (ill post screens )
PS : i installed a stock ROM using ODIN for the model Sm-N900 Downloaded from SamMobile and i think a fake note 3 wont be able to deal with such procedure no ?
Please anyone that is having this same issue tell me , and if anyone have an answer for it it ill really appreciate any help and thanks

unfortunately my phone screen is cracked ( total black) im just using the Phone in my PC using Vysor so i cant see what Download Mode displays :/
this is how it looks like and when i flip the mainboard i can spot the main chip with this text written on it ( Samsung Exynos Green Memory 5420 )

i have new galaxy s4, only used 7 days then coming like this, when you power ON the unit it vibrates first then display the Samsung Galaxy S4...then turns OFF direct..
it goes Odin mode, i have flashed it by the latest firmware 4.3 but cant go recovery mode...anybody can help me, appreciated...thankss!

WHICH ROM was installed originally?
was it rooted or not?
WHICH version of ROM have you flashed?

i flashed it with I9505XXUEMKE_I9505OLBEMK3_I9505XXUEMKE_HOME.tar
i dont know whats the old ROM or version i just flash it with 4.3 i got from sammobile but same problem...
not rooted...stock all, just 7 days used

Take the battery out (5-10 sec) putted back , quickly power + vol up go to recovery reset from factory , and wait a few minutes .

You have the i9505 no? This is a Qualcomm chip, not Exynos.

i have sm-n9005 with fake s/n RF1DA2ZHDH i cant find it on Samsung Kies , after update from 4.3 to 4.4.2 baseband unknown ,
i try any think , flash a lot of modem and EFS partition flash with 5 file on odin and also try this file ( Brick_Loop_FIX_afterRestoringBackup )
but still the same , and my ram show 1.72GB,
i dont remember what version had install on it before update .

I would blank out your imei from that photo. Some less than friendly people can steal it for bad things.

one week ago someone posted similar problem but he bought a note 2 on ebay and he thought buying note3
this +fake s/n and I become suspicious.....and with 1,72 Go it can be a note 2

Last time My camera from Redmi note 4 Snapdragon was crushed so I ordered the new one with the same numbers. But It's not working, probably it's camera from 4x but everything fits well. Is anyone to help me and send camera files from note 4x rooted? I want to change it and hope everything will be working ok. Sensor working good when I install new camera for old in powered phone, but is problem with focus, and after restart phone with new camera, not working at all.. Help Me guys plz!
You have got a camera for the wrong type of cpu. It wont help even if you'll get the drivers for mediatek version of redmi note 4..

I don't know exactly how many pins because I have it in phone now, but connector is all the same like in old camera and fits perfect, and reflashed stock newest firmware but nothing.

How to flash using fastboot? I tried to use XiaoMi Flash with newest 9.2miui. Program recognized phone in fastboot mode , but don't see a rom in folder, and I can't flash.

Do not hang up, do not load.
when I call the pc to download my photos. it does not recognize usb.
please, what I do .. I already tried to find some tutorial to reset but I did not find anything specific for it ..
Please help me. I do not want to lose this smartphone.

How is it Snapdragon when it has decacore,you have a mediatek device I think.if you have an unlocked bootloader,flash stock ROM uing mi flash!

thanks for the correction. I do not understand about architectures. but problem and that I can not install the drivers of the device is not recognizing .. nor even detects? the device.

@znayver If you change your build.prop, you can have any SoC you like reported. The phones motherboard is obviously a generic board for the 788x family and the ROM generically built for 788x SoCs. Whether or not a 7884 exists or is just an underclocked 7885 is another story - very unlikely a 14nm device would not run much faster than our device is limited to.
