my google maps has a wrong illustration in status bar and as banner. It is not possible to read the text as you can see on this picture:

Does anybody has a solution for this problem?
Try to reduce the font in the settings , less to do
Can you tell me where exactly I can change the font? If you meanthe size of the texts on my phone: it is already on normal and on small it is too small.
I installed nova launcher, could this cause the wrong error?
So I changed now the font with "FontFix". The problem with google maps is still not solved :/
Is there anybody who has the same problem or am I the only person who has this problem???
Btw I also tried the smallest font size which did not help too

You're not alone, I've the same "problem", but I don't think this is a problem as it doesn't really bother me
I see, thought I was the only one. Well for me its important becuz I use navigation and spotify every day at the same time and need to read street names... Hope that a software update will fix this issue. Thx for your responses.

hi did you find a solution for this? i have the same problem but the line is towards the right hand of the screen.

this line changes its colour according to background of the picture you take.. on lighter/bright environments it almost disappears..

You should copy reports error on your camera and you can search this error with google. Good luck

bro.. hard reset done.. but the line still there.. plus there's another line in the midlle of the screen.. flash rom not yet n dont know how to do.. this problem happens only when you use camera app.. no line in the screen.. why...???

try to bring it to HTC service center in your town, i found somebody here fixed this problem by bringing it to service center. I've never flashed my ROM, so i cant suggest u how do it sorry (again)

Hi all,
I'm really hoping someone can help me with this. I've just gotten Destinator 9 and am having a problem that I'll describe. I've tried 3 or 4 of NRG's ROMs with the same result on all of them but have not tried with the default AT&T ROM.
Destinator installs correctly however, every 3 seconds a "Symbols" screen (see screen shots attached) appears that covers up nearly the entire screen which makes a GPS app kind of hard to use.
Ideally, I'd like a permanent fix, but I'd also be willing to try renaming or deleting whatever executable is running that is displaying the "Symbols" screen.
Any ideas?

Just to close the loop on this I'd sent the Destinator support folks a note about the issue and they've provided me with a fix that solves the problem. Apparently the fix is supposed to be integrated into a new release that should be up on their store later this week or next week.

It is not always something wrong with the Rhodium this problem probably with app itself

For all those asking for me to post the fix, I'm not going to do so. If you've got a legit copy of Destinator and are hitting this problem, then contact Destinator support and they will hook you up. If you don't have a legit copy, well then I can't help you out.

To let people know that a fix is available from the vendor.
I propose to disregard pkadare problems and comments. Saying that there is a fix available with the vendor instead of posting it, is not very helpful. Someday you will need a file or help, hope you dont get it.

in fact it is a keyboard issue
install another keyboard ( i installed taptap keyboard)
also install the destinator loader
switch to this keyboard before launching destinator loader and you wont have anymore symbols

if you dont use official rom, customer service will tell you it is your rom's problem..it is not their business
so, change other roms, or change GPS software
Hello all,
The clock on my HD2, which replaces the battery icon when using an application was originally digital, i dont know what i have done (if anything) which has turned it to analog.
It is very difficult due to the size to read this analog version, can anyone on here tell me a way to change this back to digital?
At one time if you hold down the clock up top on the today screen you could choose digital or analogue, maybe you still can and you changed it by accident. I have a task manager getting in my way to test it at the moment.

I have tried looking at all the settings to do with time but still haven't been able to find anything, not sure how it could have happened in the first place.
I take it by the lack of interest no one else is having this problem.

U can change your clock back to digital from the following registry key:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shell\AnalogClock
Change the value from 1 to 0... That should solve your issue.

Hi there.
I've added some values in the Stocks tab:
For "Pound Sterling -> Euro" I added the ticker "GBPEUR=X"
For "Dollar -> Euro" I added the ticker "USDEUR=X"
For "Gold -> Euro" I added the ticker "XAUEUR=X"
For "IBEX35" I added the ticker "IBEX.MC"
The thing is that it refresehed the actual value when required, but not the relative/absolute variation, hence I always have the new values bit the green values are always 0.00 and 0.00%. Funny to see though, that the history Graph is properly updated.
Is there any way to solve that?
Can any from you test if it happens the same?
My ROM is HTC's Official 1.48

I am on 1.66 VF UK, also have this problem with currencies GBPAUD and GBPNZD
on 1.43 rom the absolute value change for these currencies worked ok
Anybody on custom ROM 2.10 has also this issue?

I've just tried it and it does the same on mine.
It also does the same for usdgbp=x too.
It does however, work with eurusd=x.
Strange, just checked it on yaho finance, and it seems to work.
gbpusd=x and gbpeur=x both work on my HD2 though.
so that's mean not alone

I have had same situation for two days. I tried restore my Leo and found where I have my information about stocks. It worked, uploaded the stocks. But when I deleted one of them and tried add agian that didn't work. Do you know where stocks aplication write data (I mean which manila files use this application)?

I foundt it in "\ApplicationData\HTC\Ygo\". There is file ygoservice.db.

I've just done a hard reset, and while GBPEUR=X and GBPUSD=X worked before the hard reset, now that I've had to re-enter it, it doesn't work any more. I guess something's changed at the Yahoo Finance side of things with the search function.
Anyone got a work-around?

I have had this issue. I found that if you ad the stocks first then change page after about 1 minute or so the fx rates will work.
also has anybody found a way to back up this Data so you do not have to re input after a new flash or hard reset
I think this must have been a temporary glitch at the Yahoo Finance end that has now been fixed.

Maybe it's a software issue. You should try an other ROM. If the bug exists there, you will have to replace your screen.

how can it be a broken screen if it's happens only in applications?
Than do a factory reset. It should solve your problem.
If it's only at some app, can be that ROM is not good or app is not compatibile. Many app's have black "line" at bottom of screen because they use 800px high resolution but i'm sure that you already know that.
