Has anyone found a way to add camera to the UPSM ? I hope there's a xposed tweak or root exploit that allows this to happen?

I've been thinking of the same thing - it looked like there might be some ways with the rooted phone, but not sure if they made anything for the S7 yet. Luckily, I have WhastApp enabled by default, so I can take pictures with it (and videos) and send them to myself, all from UPSM. There's no need for a data connection or WiFi, the transfer will fail, but the photo will be saved in the Gallery. Also, to view your entire photo gallery from USPM, open up Facebook and hit Photo - long tap any picture to preview it.
I'd love to have the camera directly though, this is a bit roundabout (but, ok, better than not at all), which makes UPSM even better.

Isn't there an app called UPSM manager? I remember using one to add custom apps to UPSM.
Yea, I have rooted galaxy s7, and with upsm manager, I can add any camera app (or virtually any other app for that matter). Default camera app works great and so does any other camera app like open camera in UPSM mode. Also with default camera app, double pressing home button brings up camera app which is convenient. UPSM mode is best mode for my galaxy S7 because battery lasts several times longer than normal mode and I can still do pretty much everything!

Hey Guys, Somehow I have managed to delete the app for my generic camera app that comes with my galaxy s phone.
I do have lots of other great camera apps but Im really keen on this one and cant find it anywhere.
Any help to find the.apk or the name of the app would be great.
ok not sure about the stock app but sgs tools will allow you to install a couple of modded ones including one that is the stock version but will allow you to disable goe tagging (which I cannot believe the stock app doesn't allow kinda pissed me off when I first realised that) and also take pictures when in call or low battery scenarios.
It MIGHT even reinstall the stock app but I am not 100% sure on that one
Hi, i was thrilled to use the Galaxy S5 as my daily especially when i used the camera quite often to do my work. But when i want to explore more of its camera mode and move to samsung app store it was a huge disappointment when it says "Your device or country is only available for limited service". It really is annoying and defeat the purpose of having "download" option when i can have none
So, my question is, is there anything i can do about it? i tried vpn but no success or i might do it wrong.
It would be better if anyone have the apk for it:
I'm looking for:
Surround shot mode
Sport shot mode
Sound & shot mode
Animated photo mode

Here are the available APKs that came from my device. Just took a look on galaxy apps and noticed that sound and shot & sports mode are missing now. Good thing I have them backed up from my device hah!

just installed on my E6533, it works find with new UI and the app starts faster than the original camera app which was version 1.0.0.
don't know why sony didn't push it to Z3+ models in what's new, but we can install it by downloading the apk file.
can't wait to share with you this good news, looks like by now all functions are working well for me include the camera key.

NOTE: the shortcut on homescreen needs to be re-configured, also the auto and manual mode shortcut are disappeared, but it's much easier to switch to manual mode inside the camera app. so now i put stylepotrait/4k video/panorama/multicamera in the shortcut.
The link is here. I did have to reboot before the app would open without crashing, but man it's fast after that!
Just the other day I found that in the camera flash option menu, in the camera app, there was an option for the flashlight.
I installed the OTA yesterday, and now that option is gone.
Anyone know how to get that option back? it's probably one of the most useful features of the camera app.
I cannot help here, but related Question is, and this may be of use to you too.
A Better Camera apk does allow the torch to be on before and of course during the shot.
This app works much better in low light but not as good as our regular cam in other respects.

How do I fix this? How do I revert back to the official nougat camera app?
If the new camera updated the stock camera, go into your application manager (in the Settings), find the camera and disable it.
After a prompt, it should uninstall the updates and leave just the stock camera.
Reenable after its finished, and you should be good to go.

I tried that but the disable button is greyed out and I cannot click it.

It's just that it was huge compared to normal compare the screenshot below to the original one and you'll see. (View pictures fullscreen on your phone to see it clearly)
