Can i unlock bootloader without rooting?

I am trying to change my Note 3 (SM-N900K) firmware but first when i try to flash the recovery after the flashing the recovery did not change what should i do?

are there any other application or an easier way to unlock bootloader without rooting?

I am not familiar with the n900k but using an app to unlock the bootloader if the bootloader is not locked will probably brick the phone.
Are you booting right into the custom recovery as soon as you flash it? If you flash recovery and just reboot to the rom, the stock recovery will overwrite the custom recovery.

Guide for TWRP with unlocked bootloader?

I really need to install TWRP and my bootloader is unlocked. How should I do that?

A2017G going back: relocking Bootloader and Stock

I unlocked a a2017g and installed los. Now i want to relock it and reinstall stock.
I used the axon7toolkit to reintall the stock via miflash app. B10 was flashed.
The bootloader is still unlocked. How can i relock it?

answer to me:
i forgot to flash the fastboot unlock img when i was unlocking thr bootloader.
i did this now flashing twrp before
reflashed stock via edl recovery axon 7
then the newest full update via recovery stock
everything fine now

Could I unlock bootloader, root with Magisk (no TWRP) then relock.

Dear guys, I don't like the warning boot screen after unlock bootloader but still want to root my Mate 9. So I need to know, is there any problem if I unlock bootloader, then install Magisk with fastboot (without TWRP), then I relock bootloader? Are there anyone tried?

Hi there,
I locked the bootloader by accident after I already installed the TWRP recovery. Now I wonder myself how to unlock it again, because again in fastboot mode it does not work. I can not find any guide therefore.
