I was trying to use Hide my root to hide my root status so I could use "presto" (Steaming service in AUS". Did all the correct steps and it didnt work Presto was still able to see I was rooted , restore the su etc.
But now when I try to go to Mock locations settings in developer options the Gps faking apps I was using for Pokemon GO dont show up anymore.
Tryed reinstalling xposed and the modules but no go
Any ideas ?
Note 4 runing Dr keatons m6 Rom
Figured it out on my own , turns out if installed the newest version it wouldnt show up in the list of apps , If I downloaded the old version then updated to the newer one then it would show up . Weird

I have been having a few problems. First, I tried running system tuner but all the options under startup are greyed out so I can't change auto starts. Also, better battery stats will not show anything. I am running omnirom on my i777. Any help is appreciated. These used to work on shostock3 and other Roms and not this
Is it rooted? Maybe your System Tuner app needs root access and the Omnirom I installed on my device wasn't rooted. Lots of other roms are rooted by default.
P.S.: to change autostarts, I use a smaller app, the Disable Services.
Not sure how many of you play Pokemon Go, but recent security patches have blocked to ability to use GPS mock location apps.
The OP5 ships with 7.1.1 and May security update which means that mock location apps are no longer supported.
I read that you can root and move the GPS app to the system, meaning that you dont need to rely on Mock location.
So, I have rooted my OP5, with Magisk (SafetyNet passed)....so what to do next?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You move the GPS app to system. Duh!
Spoiler
You can use Link2SD to move the app to system
Most guides tell you to install a gps joystick of choice. After this install "Disable Service" app from the playstore. Run the app and disable fused locations service to terminate rubberbanding problems. The problem with oxygenos is that it gets stuck in bootloop as soon as you turn off the fused locations service. I didnt find a solution to this yet, so I'm hoping someone here can

Very simple solution. You'll need to be rooted though. I just magisk v13.3. As it bypasses safetynet.
1. Install NewGPS!Joystick from play store
2. Install lucky patcher (easy to find)
3. Open lucky patcher
4. Find newgps!joystick in the list, then convert it as a system app.
5. Open newgps!joystick, set where you want to start from. That's it.
Just open pogo and enjoy

I have it turned off with the app you named "Disable Service". I am using Android Auto so sometimes i have to re-enable it to use it as my car navigation. It always works perfectly fine without any boot issues.
Running Oxygen OS 4.5.1 and Android 7.1.1

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but go to settings, apps, hit the three dot menu, go to special access, then install unknown apps. Try toggling some of those on and see if that works.
Hi thanks that's it cheers you have to specify where you can install from,I've just installed then updated showbox and you have give showbox permission to install the update through itself....crazy it was OK before one toggle fits all...
I updated my S8 to Oreo and I love it, however apps like Advance Download Manager or Amazon when trying to install apps it request that I allow install from unknown sources, it prompts the toggle but it's grey and will not let me switch it on.
Any way to force allow this? There is no longer an option to allow unknown installs in settings.
I have the same problem only a few apps show as accessible. But the ones I want to change are greyed out. Any resolution?
Go to Settings-Apps- click on the 3 dots menu-> special access-> Install unknown apps. Guess this should work
My phone recently started getting root detection and I tried things like safety net bypass or no check device but everytime I test or go on a app that doesn't allow root it still detects it. I also tried changing magisk name and used the hide feature but it's still getting detected and I tried all the xposed modules I found but it still didnt work and I don't know what else I should do.
