Hello ,
I am having serious problems with the battery , last release of Paranoid Android (13th May). It doesn't discharge extremely fast while running , but, the tablet doesn't charge if it is switched on . I have to switch off it to charge. If the tablet is turned on the charging speed is around 1% by one hour, with the screen off... with screen on it is discharging instead of charging.
Tested with original AC/DC adaptor.
Could someone help me with this issue?
Try other kernels seem like kernel relate problem.
Flip the wall adapter solved the issue.... I can't believe it...
hi i m facing charging problem in my mobile......
1. My phone full charge in 20 min....when i restart again it show battery around 30% and again when i charge i charge in 20 min...
2.Some times my phone dose not charge .
3.My phone battery dose not drain for 1 day and suddenly i shows 2% after a day..
4.When my phone disconnected it shows battery full msg(after charging),....and shows usb is still connected..
5. Sometimes my battery increase automatically.....while not charging....
i dose not knows what is happening to my phone......my help me to solve this problem.....
mines does the same thing people says that the charing port samsung uses is CHEAP and has to be replaced. i dont use my galaxy y anymore.
Somehow voltage shown by my spike guard was lower than generally shown. I kept phone on charge for almost 3 hours but after that when i removed battery was still below 15%, at same point when i had started charging.
I was showing that phone is charging but still no increase in % of battery.
After that phone battery got drained as i was busy doing something else and didn't kept phone charging.
Now when i plug in charger for initial some time red light blinks and then nothing happens.
I kept phone in charge for almost 2 hours and nothing,
I used wall plug charged, connected to PC both. same result.
can anyone help?

yes same happed wid me and i use my old inew charge and it beeing chard now the chargers gone busted u need a new wall charger as battry is critical low unable tu gain proper voltage through usb charging soo wht u neeed put ur phone wid usb charging and leave for some tyme or use an other charger
I leave tonight carrying Xiaomi charger and this morning, it was fully downloaded, I guess for the amperage, but li over the original, it seems to fail.

Gionee elife e7 not getting charged
HI , I am experiencing the same problem. The mobile is not getting charged with any charger. Its been just a day since I got the mobile. First time it got charged well and now it does not. Did you get your problem resolved. I will be happy if you could share your experience on the same.

Hi,
I figured out our GIONEE chargers are no better than cheap chinese ones. SO try with some other better quality charger from LG, MOTO or SAMSUNG and it will get charged.

Ya I tried with samsung too... but no response... So when used other standard chargers , your mobile got charged.. The same Gionee charger and other charger is able to charge my other mobiles but this isn't

Even I am facing the same issue. Battery got drained and I am not able to chrge now. I tried with Samsung charger as well. Any help would be really appreciated.
Have you tried to charge in recovery?

Hi Everyone,
I faced the the similar issue recently, I dont know why's and how's about the cause... But, I figured out that the phone starts charging when Airplane Mode is Turned ON. I suspect it to be an Android Issue as I have read same complaints from Android users having phones of different makes.
Hope that we will get a patch or may be its fixed in the newer versions of Android.
My Android Version is 4.4.2

Trick here was the charger for me.
I was using some third party charger or something.
If it is same for you then try with gionee charger.
I actually got charger in which we can put battery as my phone has removable battery if it is same for you then you can look up on ebay for such charger they will cost around 200...

My YUREKA was stuck at the boot animation and I had to pull out the battery and restart the phone. The Battery had gone down to 1% from 58% after I restarted. i switched off the phone, borrowed a USB cable and plugged it to a PC front USB port. After some time I restarted the phone and then checked the Battery Monitor Widget. It showed charging at 2085 mA, then showed various readings ranging from 531 mA to 3023mA!!!!
the phone got charged from 37% to 95% withing an hour!
Can somebody explain what happened? Was this Fast Charging? why is there a variation the charging current?
I have attached the screenshots showing the charging data from the Battery Monitor Widget for reference.
Please help me understand.

Weird...
Really odd behavior. Can be a problem of the battery monitor. I will look into it as soon as I receive my Yu Yureka.
wipe the battery stats from recovery... it shud fix this issue
Are you still interested in talking about that issue? Because this seems the only case of fast charging.
The yu yureka supports Quick Charging which is probably disabled by software.
Please share the following information with us-
1. What charger are you using ?
2. What firmware are you using ?
3. Is bootloader unlocked ?
4. Is phone rooted ?
5. Anything else about the event ? Something that seems insignificant to you ?
my phone is charging very slow. like it takes 15 hours to complete 80% charging. also it does not charge when i am connecting to the portable charger and many other charger which are works fine with my friend's yureka.
i tried factory reset, i called to yu care but they are not replying. they are just keep giving me the time.
whats the problem? and what should i do?

I have the same problem with my yureka too . It is because of loose charging pin on yureka. I would suggest to use a microsoft lumia charger or try not to move your phone too much while charging . Keep checking after 5 or 10 mins whether it is charging or not if not then try readjusting the charger pin (works for me ). Whatever solution you use, let me know.
