For anyone interested in (still) getting a YotaPhone2: looks like inventory is being cleared out. Not sure if commercial links are OK, so I'll just casually mention tinydeal and coolicool. Prices from 140-160 USD, according to the seller real, new ones.
Disclaimer: I haven't dealt with these (Chinese?) sites before, so can't recommend either one. *Caveat Emptor*
I am very tempted to get one too. But it is marked as pre-sell though I think the phone was released last year?
Anyone knows what the latest ROM supported through OTA? Thanks.
Interestingly, the coolicool one is supposedly 'yd201' (international/Russian?) version, and has more LTE bands. As opposed to what's on tinydeal and chinavision, where they report only the Chinese bands. I'm suspicious that coolicool has the wrong info, since I imagine the stock is all coming from the same source... any thoughts?
I received one from coolicool and it's YD201.
Gearbest sells the 206
Hi,
I ordered one from efox-shop in August (international version with B20 LTE band). Received a YD201 with RU firmware (not a problem, it has English language and Aeroflot timetable app
It seems to be out of stock in China, but in stock in their EU warehouse (more expensive, but arrives faster and no VAT is added)
I received one from tinydeal last week and ordered another one this week for safety reasons. It was 148 USD.
YD206 and I upgraded successfully manually and no it is YD 201 with Android 5.0 Up to now it seems will be my favorite phone

By mistake I ordered YD206 instead of YD201 (LTE Band 3/7/20 supported by swiss networks) from efox and recognized it after my phone was shipped. When I checked my order online it showed HKMHAYTP2 (YD206) for the product-ID and URL link refered to YD206 but clicking on the link swapped to Product-ID MHAYTP2 (YD201) which was confusiong me. Customer Service told me they sent YD201.
After a long waiting time I received the mobile and on the box , a sticker showed YD206 but in the box there was another sticker with a different IMEI number , and showing YD201 version.
After starting the mobile and connecting to WLAN it immediately downloaded the latest russian Android 5.0 version.
Therfore I don't know what was installed initially, but phone shows me YD201 version with IMEI number matching the sticker inside of the box. Therfore I guess I received YD201 version .
Is there a way to check which bands are really supported and which version it is ?

I went into my local Vodafone store with a friend who is after one the same as mine and we where told the 16GB version is no longer available in Europe , is this correct?
We tried a Phones4you and they did not even know there was a 16GB version for sale.
On the plus side he said Vodafones version of Froyo 2.2 when it comes out will not have all the Vodafone crap integrated into it this time around.
Paul.
they did have 16gb last week in holland though =/
When I was looking to upgrade through either Orange UK or Phones4u there was no option for the 16gb version (which I really wanted) so guess it's not that readily available

I think the 16GB version is exclusive to Vodafone. Other operators here also sell the SGS but the 8GB (as in the phone stores)
No, there is an unbranded 16GB available for Portugal. I have one that I bought in Holland ( http://www.studentenmobile.nl ). It came with English and Portuguse manuals.
Product code is : GT-I9000HKATPH
Build Number: ECLAIR.XWJM2
Firmware version: 2.1-update1
I rang Samsung Netherlands, and they said that the guarantee is valid in Holland, and everywhere else within the EU for the I9000.
For those of you who, like myself, have the polish PLUS model of the note and have been frustrated at the lack of updates compared to all the other regions.

yeah, some of the first batch of notes sold online were the polish plus carrier locked model. i bought mine online here in australia and it ended up being the polish model, we've been slow to get updates. our last update was KKA.
just completed the update.
we are now on.
PDA - N7000XXLC1
Phone - N7000XXLB2
CSC - N7000PLSLB1
Baseband - N7000XXLB2
about time we got a beefy update. sucks that it isnt ICS though.
so its lc1 - polish plus released it few days ago
ahh yeah, I think I got lucky, my wife bought mine for me in November and I got the Debtel German model... so while I too am in Australia I've been getting pretty regular updates...
besides i get polish Orange carrier (non branded) Note and its still on kka officially ;p thanks god for odin
It's also sad what happened here a few weeks ago. Samsung spent a lot of money to promote the Galaxy Note, renaming the main subway station with "Sol Galaxy Note" and putting there people all day showing it. The problem is that they had only 3 units and all running KKA firmware. I pointed out that to the people there and they did not seem to even have an idea of what a ROM is.
If they want to show the device, load it with the best firmware available and up to date programs, not just the demo video.
Im sure everyone is getting their hands on a SGS3...for those kiwi XDA members, blue is basically unavailable...Ordered my 32GB today haha...at Noel Leeming...
Noel Leeming has the 20% off deal for all Vodafone handsets...$839NZD for 16GB and $919NZD for 32GB...cheaper than Ebay offers at the moment! Official New Zealand stock, not parallel imported...Vodafone stores are still taking orders for $1049 for 16GB...a few of the dodgy parallel importers have it for about $1019...not far from New Zealand stock, so you might as well get stock with valid New Zealand warranty...**** Smith has it for $949? from what I have heard...not sure if its New Zealand stock, I suspect parallel imported since **** Smith do not sell Vodafone?
My friend working at a Wellington Vodafone has confirmed that they are out of stock...though I suspect that JB HIFI still have stock as they were unwilling to disclose stock numbers but insisted that stock was still available for purchase lol...
I have heard that some people have managed to get another 5% off $839 at Warehouse Stationary? Basically $797NZD...can anyone confirm this??? sounds wayyyy too good?
cant wait to get my hands on it!!!
16GB White ONLY:
Warehouse Stationary: Not listed on website / have heard some have purchased for $797NZD
**** Smith: $949NZD (confirmed) limited stock (suspect to be Telecom stock)
JB HIFI: $1049NZD (confirmed) Vodafone stock
Noel Leeming: $839NZD (confirmed) Vodafone stock
Vodafone: $1049NZD (confirmed)
parallel importers: $1019~ refer to Pricespy.co.nz (patchy stock...)
The ETA for Blue 32 through Noels and Bond + Bond is mid June, I work at Bond's and ordered the Blue 32 aswell I will update this post as soon as I can confirm we have stock in quantity
Please use the new zealand thread for this, ask the op of it to update with the info you need. Else we end up 20 threads per country and loose track of the important ones..
If bought from Hong Kong rather direct from China I assume it will have an English language option?
Also will it get any kind of update support I assume not outside the region?
Phones bought from OPPO directly, http://oppostyle.com or their(!) verified Amazon store, have an international warranty and have the international firmware and hardware (T-mobile bands are added).
I suggest buying directly from OPPO just to be sure you have warranty (and it's usually cheaper!).
bought mine from Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...iveASIN=B00BA8ZWPO&linkCode=as2&tag=m0494a-20
everything comes in English with the International version, even the paper work inside the box
and yes it gets constant OTA updates from Oppo. but this last update releasded yesterday was not OTA

Chinese stock rom has English language option too.
also you can install CM10.1
my friend who live in china say he found the 128Gb global version for me, from his chinese seller, the seller promise is the Global version wil all 4G band, the seller know too my friend will bring the phone back if not
did seller lies ? or true ?
but is the global version is advable ? or not out yet ?
any info ?
here is my post on miui forum with more detail

The official website did sell the global version and sold out quite immediately. I had tried to buy through the website, didn't got it, but I believe the stock must be very limited. So the seller might be one of the lucky one. However with limited stock I think the price will be quite high
Sent from my MI NOTE Pro using XDA-Developers mobile app
I came across one the other day. It's the real thing. ROMs are a bit tricky for it though.
I've already received it. I'm in Germany and ordered via Gearbest.
Is this the cheapest option right now for the global 128GB version? €400 excl customs. http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/...251.html?wid=4
