Need help restoring to stock - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone have a stock Moto X Pure Android 6.0 May Patch Firmware Rom anywhere? I tried some on the site but it couldn't get past the set-up screens or I had other issues.

[Q] Tell me if i understand flashing / rom replacement right

Hello All -
Im making the jump from WM6 to android and i purchased a droid X on ebay to flash over to cricket and put on my account. it did not say which version of android 2.x is installed on it at the moment. so it could either be 2.1 or 2.2 im not sure.
Anyway, im new to flashing androids, but am used to flashing WM devices (ppc6700-wm5/wm6, moto q9c-wm6, ppc6800 wm6). i THINK i have the whole flashing procedure down.
So i downloaded all of the usb drivers and the SDK, droid x bootstrap, ROM manager, RootMyX2, RDSLite 4.8, xUltimate 2.2, and the apex 1.3.1 ROM. basically trying to have everything i need in one place so i can get started when my DX gets here in the mail.
The way i understand it, i flash the rom first and then flash to cricket and put in my cricket info? also, i know theres a 2.3.x update out now via OTA, while it's still stock verizon should i let it update OTA or should i flash to cricket, let it OTA, and then flash a new rom onto the device?
I am sorry about all the questions, im sure they have been answered a million times but after a fair amount of research those are the questions im left with
EDIT: i decided to go with liberty 1.0 for my rom. on the rom's thread it says: "Liberty is tested and supported on only 320/340 droid X’s.", and that its built on gummyJAR 2.5 and can be installed over that. what steps would i need to take to update my device to 320 or 340? is there a preferred version as to 320 or 340?
I have absolutely no knowledge of cricket, so I can't help you on that. There are various people on here who do use cricket and so they can help you with that.
However, its pretty simple flashing ROM's. I've actually done it for several (2) of my friends while we were out somewhere. All you need is z4root, which can be found on XDA, and then each ROM will have instructions on how flash their ROM. That's easy though.
It may be in your best interest, and since you've already downloaded RSDLite, to do an SBF and then flash a ROM. You'll need to do that depending on which version you are running. It's not essential but I'm sure others will recommend the same.
I can't remember off the top of my head which SBF's are for which versions/kernals but there are plenty of people on here who can help you on that issue. I'll throw one little plug in there and let someone, more knowledgeable, take over. Give Liberty 1.0 a try.
I hated my DX and contemplated switching back to my D1 for considerable amount of time until I flashed my first ROM, Fission. Once I flashed that first ROM it was like a completely new phone. I'm hooked on these ROM's and the DX's huge display.
Goodluck and enjoy.

The link I used to flash my Droid X to cricket is not working anymore. Its easy to flash it to Cricket but like I said the site is either down or not working. What I did was use the stock OS and once I had all my cricket settings I flashed a new ROM. If you can I would update it to .340 first before you do any cricket settings.

How to take OTA 6.0 update one a rooted Moto X Pure 5.1

Hello everyone!
I rooted my Moto X Pure and I'm trying to figure out how to take the new Moto X Pure OTA update for Marshmellow. I have the TWRP recovery installed and the bootloader as well. I also have SuperSu installed. I'm still running stock Android but I have made a couple of database variable changes and a build prop change (Very minor). If someone can provide me instructions on how to proceed it will be completely appreciated.

I wrote this up a few weeks ago. Here is the linkhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/help/updating-to-mm-lp-moto-x-pure-t3270473
This is for the US Moto X Pure Edition, not sure if it would work for the Style or not. So if you own the Pure Edition then this should work perfectly for you.

Upgrade from custom ROM to Android 7.0

Hi guys,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but unless I am missing something, I have yet to find a thread or instructions on how to do this.
I am on Pure Nexus, but I posted here because I'm guessing the answer applies to virtually any custom ROM. What are the steps involved in upgrading from a custom 6.0 ROM to the newly released Android 7.0? Is there a way to do this while keeping root?
Thanks,

There's roms you can flash, other than that just wait for the images to release and there will be alot options
So if it's a custom ROM based on 7.0 I can go ahead and flash using that specific ROM instructions?
I thought the official 7.0 came out yesterday, that's why I was wondering if I could update to the official and keep root and how to do that.

I'd Mae a backup send it to PC and try tupac4us rom or digitalhighs . They have vendors built in the zip .
I was on Benzo rom and this is exactly what I did; I restored back to stock rom only leaving bootloader unlocked. I joined the Android beta and the N ota was ready to install. I then flashed the latest twrp. I made sure to do a full nandroid and physically backed up anything important to my laptop before I restored to stock. I noticed until I flashed ditialhighs N rom my twrp would not "stick" but no big deal I just flashed it and went into recovery. It seems Android Pay is working with digitialhighs rom, you just toggle off root, use it, toggle back. Good luck
Which guide did you use for restoring to stock while keeping the bootloader unlocked?
i was on pure nexus 6.1 i used this guide to revert everything back to stock then i subscribed to the developer program and got 7.0 update in seconds, section 14 is pretty much all you need

Latest Stock ROM ?

Does anyone have a link to the latest STOCK ROM for Moto X PE?
I am currently rooted, and running AICP 7.1 ROM, however not everything is working right and the camera slowness is a show stopper. Looking to flash back to STOCK.
Thanks!
Latest full firmware package we have available is posted here.
You could OTA from it to the latest. No one has posted the latest. Honestly I'd advise against that. The linked May (2016) security update was solid, but I hear a lot of chatter here about bluetooth and other issues on the latest stock rom.

How do I install pixel experience on my Moto g5 plus XT1686?

I have rooted my device and have TWRP installed but I found out in some old Post in this frum that I have to roll back to nougat to install pixel experience. Is it still the case with the latest version of pixel experience? Since I'm new to rooting devices and this is my first time flashing a ROM, do I need anything other than the pixel experience zip file? Any kind of help will be appreciated.
The latest versions are based on Oreo firmware so if you are in Stock Oreo you can simply make a clean flash for the latest PE zip and that's all. I did it that way even without knowing I had to be in stock Oreo and it worked perfectly.
