Does the csc match on samsung phone info and in recovery? I bought a note 4 recently for spare parts and that also came out when I downloaded phone info. Turns out the phone was really a sm-n910v not sm-n910f, but after flashing the correct firmware everything was okay. Didn't use the phone that much because it's just for spare parts, but basic functions of the phone is working.

The app reads some files in efs/factoryapp folder. Not sure how reliable it is but if charged for 200x it's not brand new as claimed. But most importantly the model and imei numbers are match.

Use root xplorer. Find efs/factoryapp. X-plore for example has the ability to check the root partition eventhough the phone is unroot. It's just you couldn't modify the file. I think oatest update requires root access in order to archieve root partition. So search old version(last few months).
Nevertheless samsung phone info is taking the info from there. So there is no need to check it manually.

when i turned on the wifi it started to download an update 900M size.how can i know if is it marshmello or lolipop.from icons on the phone i understand that it was made for the german market for the O2 opretor

You can check it if your on MM or lollipop at settings/about. Where do you live? If sm-n910f is usually sold in your country you can download and flash your country's stock rom so it will be branded in your region.

You could extract them from the ROM. Download an official firmware and use this:

Please someone help me with that issue
@kamikazededios Are you using an official or TW based rom? Try dirty flashing your current firmware straight over the top. I've had issues installing system apks and this was the only sure fire way to fix.
@sassy713 if you've tried reflashing it normally(in pda slot) and your still getting ext4 error chances are the firmware your trying to flash needs a pit file. I think the DBT (Germany) Rom was the main culprit. You may also have a 16gb HK model. If your on a 32gb N9005, Go here for 4.4.2 mirrors. Preferrably download one that doesn't need a pit file. Flash it in ODIN(1.85 recommended, run as admin) in pda slot and leave all the settings as they are.

Like xstokerx said I'm also almost positive you have an at&t i337. It's very easy to change the the product name in the build.prop. I don't think you'll have any problem flashing nb1

It's an I337. You can also boot into download mode. What it says there is what you have. It gets that information from the mother board.

I will check it by booting into download mode and will pull out the battery to reboot system, is it safe to do like that? because I don't have a pc right now to odin.
Please close this thread, issue has been resolved. @jd1639 Thank you so much for helping.

Help me figure this out

Hey I just bought my galaxy note 4 from my country's carrier yesterday and it started with lollipop right out of the box and it had some issues like old galaxy apps which wouldnt update so I did factory reset and solved that out. I find it not normal that it wasn't running kitkat. And I also noticed that my basedband version differs from my build number. What does this mean exactly? Also there is a section at the bottom of my about device which says configuration version not available. Please good ppl help me out to figure this out. And just to repeat, the device is bought from the official carrier's store. I'm applying screen shots .

How to get the S7 Edge international Unlocked version?

Hello,
I know that the phone will be releasing on the 11th, and all the pre-order options available are through carriers. I will be ordering online since I live in DR, where do you think I could buy the Unlocked international version of the cellphone?
Thank you.
Ebay. There are several available. It is the Exynos version. SM-935F

Compare Ebay and Amazon to European stores such as Unlocked Mobiles and Clove UK, see which comes out cheaper.
Depends where you are just go to an independant shop that sells all networks and that phone will be the int unlocked version or country version with no bloat ware unless you click on yes on first boot up and install it by mistake , but that can be deleted anyway

Hi
I'm quite interested in the carrier customisation stuff.
What do you mean by click yes on first boot up? What does it say you are clicking yes to? Any screenshots? Have you clicked yes?
Further info much appreciated!
Thanks!
When you boot up a unlocked version you get a pop up in your notifications , for me that's a Vodafone notification which asks you to click on the notification to install their software , it is a pain but if you do nothing the request is gone on the next boot up , this happens in European phones I don't know if it happens on every country my phone is a phn model

Yes the T-Mobile S7 / S7 edge can only be unlocked by the built in device unlock app now
We unlocked quite a few today
Did you order an unlock or was it unlocked by T-Mobile as you purchased it outright?

Hmm, don't know then mate, it should have worked. Maybe others can help you.
Try someone who can flash with jtag. I had the same problem and no matter what i did, it led me to flash a pit file and brick mine forever. Now my last hope is a guy who can flash with jtag coz my N910F wont even start. Unfortunantely its vacation period so i have to wait for him to be back. Good luck my friend. Keep us posted.

The guy at the phone shop (in Singapore) told me that it'll cost about USD$120 to replace the mainboard of the Note 4. Apparently, there are a lot of such failing recently till the mainboard is out of stock. Will need 1 week for the mainboard to come.
Anybody encounter similar problem?
Just curious, does anybody has the solution?
