Hey guys, Im trying to configure my Droid X with my EVDO carrier settings.
I've configured the phone and the 1x settings already but the problem is that the EVDO ones don't stick, @vzw3g.com keeps coming back and I am running out of options. I heard that if you modify the NV items or something like that they can surely stick; but how can I read the NV .txt file and modify it with my carrier values?
I hope you guys can please help me.

I am trying to update my phone to LTE, but when it comes to the step where I am supposed to be able to chose "network mode", I do not have that option...from looking @ vids & screen shots online other people's phones seem to have menu options that mine does not on the "Mobile network settings" menu. I have taken a screenshot for you to see...any help would be appreciated.
Thats because its a ROM feature! Not all roms have it.

I don't see how that can be, since in none of the enable LTE posts mention that
That's because they are clueless as well.

open your phone app, dial *#*#4636#*#* then press phone information..
Kia Ora.
I have an LG G2 D802 and was wondering where in the menu system you can disable the mobile from searching LTE, and instead grab 3g/h+ only from the network provider.
thanks.

Thanks guys.
After typing those characters into the dialer, what should happen? I thought it pulled up a menu or some such awesome thing?
Hello. On my LG G2 D802 not appear the LTE option, only 2g/3g. Could active it with 3845#*802#?. Thanks.
These are the options on my D802. It seems there are variations in different countries.

I have the international version but when I clicked on "LTE only" toast says "not supported".
Then I activate 4g with elixir 2 :/
Card sim problem?

I have the same problem. The LTE-only says "not supported".
The fact is that I have the opposite problem highlighted in this thread: I want to activate the LTE feature.
I have bought my G2 in Switzerland and I'm not able to connect to LTE in Italy (the LTE icon should appear in the notification bar, isn't it?).
Do I have to flash another ROM to get the problem fixed? Going to the settings of the phone, I have the D80210a-EUR-XX which seems to be the correct one.
Anyone knows what's that problem?
Thanks in advance
file is missing LteConfigs
Anyone come across a way of turning on LTE and making it permanent?
Mine is D802 international unlocked and I have to go into the hidden menu after every reboot. Lame

Hello devs and modders, this http://samsung-updates.com/details/16850/Galaxy_Note_3_Snapdragon/SM-N9005/ZVV/N9005VJUDMJ6.html rom (ZVV, from Brazil) has an option in the Network mode that I like very much to have, LTE ONLY, so I can tether my notebook for gaming when not in home, I know the side effects of this mode and I know I can access a hidden menu to change to that mode [takes too many steps tough], but I would like to have that menu option on other roms or even better any rom with a mod of any kind.
So can someone help me with that?
Cheers
Just edit /data/property/persist.radio.lteon and change it to true (and reboot).

Mine already says true, but it doesn't show the option on the menu. Any idea?
BTW I am running the BTU-N9005XXUDMK2 rom.
No one?

If that is the case it's possible that the SIM card hasn't been updated, or the network provider isn't transmitting any LTE bands?
In my case, the provider is just starting to test 4G networks and I had to change the property and ask for a newer sim card (not sure if that is the case, but I did read somewhere that it might help).

I currently have ATT and therefore cannot verify(for ATT reasons): but the menu is there in my 6t:

it works, but not just by selecting some options and not without fiddling with extra tools.
/edit
this is for Germany with Provider O2
It requires service menu access + using qualcom tools to edit carrier settings
