Are you just wanting to install a stock 4.4.4 KK ROM or a custom KK ROM? I may be able to get you where you want. Just need to know exactly what you're wanting

Ok so im a total noob when it comes to this and i would like to root my phone, put a custom rom on it maybe either pac rom or like cyanogenmod 11, and if i can get 4.4 kikkat and get rid of bloatware if i can even do that like idk how this all works...so if anyone could help me with step by step on how to root then back up then put a custom rom that would be absolutely great!

What firmware are you running? If you want help you need to provide more information. If you are on mf3 or mk2 you can not flash any Cyanogenmod based roms. You need to slow down, search XDA & read the threads before you flash something and brick your phone.

You can not flash those roms on your phone!
Here is the guide for your mk2 S4. Please read it. It will explain how to root, install Safestrap recovery (NO TWRP or CWM), and has a list of Touchwiz roms that are compatible for our beloved S4.

I'm looking to restore the stock recovery for tmo 4.2.2G and take the kk OTA and remain rooted. I first need to get back to stock recovery but I can't seem to find one. Anyone know where I can find it?

Hi Guys, I have read some topics about downgrading, but im not fully understanding if this is only for people who is already rooted or if this will work for a non rooted device. In my case i have an At&t Lg G2 not rooted with 4.4.2 kitkat and wanted to revert to 4.2 so i can root and then flash a rooted stock 4.4.2 kitkat. Is it possible to do that, even if i was never rooted? I do understand there's no root for kitkat as of now.
Thanks guys.

Ok, you must be wondering why the heck anyone would want to downgrade from 4.4.2. Well I had one noob moment and a couple of unfortunate coincidences. I haphazardly flashed a rom for an I9505g onto my phone. Luckly I can still boot up and connect to my wifi. If I turn the airplane mode off then the phone goes haywire. Im sure that isnt fixable.
My difficulty is finding a stock 4.2.2 ROM to flash.
I would just flash the recovery i have, but, it somehow is corrupt and sends my phone into a bootloop so i have to reflash the 4.4.2 again to get anything to work. Really, i think all i need is a link to get me going in the right direction for the files i need. If anyone could hook me up i'd really appreciate it.

But I've Downgraded Many time from kitkat to JB4.3 without any problem
Aaah, I see. You're on stock 4.2.2 and you've flashed 4.4.2 without flashing bootloader?
I thought you were on full stoc 4.4.2 with Knoxed BL.

Not at this time perhaps never...
Hi guys,
I'm trying to figure out how I can install Lollipop for my SM-N900V which is rooted with TWRP and Safestrap on Baseband N900VVRUCNC4 and Build number KOT49H.N900VVRUCNC4. I've looked into ArayaMod and Jasmine but I'm super confused about how to go about the install. Do I need to flash stock 5.0 via Odin and then flash a custom ROM? Do I need to install from an SD card?
I'm pretty discouraged and I'm almost ready to just flash the stock 5.0 and lose root privileges if it's possible.
I hope this doesn't seem too vague but if someone could just point me toward a decent thread or video to give me some direction I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jeff
