didn't wipe nor factory reset... worked like a charm
Any idea about incompatible modules? You know bootloops and lack of a recovery don't go hand in hand haha.
Seems it doesn't work on F5121 Nougat , or I'm doing something wrong. Getting error when installing zip

download from here https://mega.co.nz/#!KQs3RRzL!6LRxBbUkvT5x-RNsmiyRTFDybmjhoXM5oirtLQ-nAmo
for rooting ,download NUT's dualrecovery.zip , and superuserfix.zip
http://nut.xperia-files.com/?dlid=WF...hhYmxlLnppcA==
Copy those to sdcard , wipe cache/dalvin if your coming from other stock odex rom
Wipe data if your using custom/deodex rom) ,
Flash the attached cwm zip , dualrecovery.zip , and superuserfix.zip .
Turn of your phone , and flash kernel/fota/baseband using flashtool,
Remember to exclude system partition and untick wipe options in flashtool

The download link for the rom works fine for me, yeah just saw the encryption of super su
You can search for the super su fix and download from somewhere else its only needed for rooting the rom
Download SuperSU directly from Chainfire's site - http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
I really don't know why people are renaming his zip and hosting it elsewhere.

So, just to be sure because i've never done this procedure for rooting before.
After flashing the rom, xz dualrecovery and update-supersu zip files, i use flashtool to flash the .ftf file and uncheck all wipe data boxes, and exclude everything except fota, kernel and baseband, am i correct?
It's the last part with the exclusions that i didn't get completely right..sorry if i look like an idiot :cyclops:

that's strange i flashed the file and everything worked fine
What error message did you get? If it was a md5 error then download the file again and then flash it
i get error extracting update-binary if i remember correctly...
anyway after trying some other methods, i managed to unroot my phone..
I'm gonna try your method again, since my phone is kinda messed up now..
flashed the zip but got an error during setting permission
now wifi does not work anymore
same here, just tried again..
set_perm: some changes failed
E:error executing updater binary in zip
Error flashing zip...
Failed
About the wifi, i think it has something to do with the flashtool exclude options..when i tried with this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50234676
wifi worked fine, i had root but some weird issued occurred as i described in the above thread..
and after i tried for a second time, i lost root...so i am back from the beginning...
just to mention i have lb, but i guess it doesn't matter when flashing stock kernels, right?
its going to crash out on
set_perm(1002, 1002, 0440, "/system/etc/dbus.conf");
as there doesn't appear to be a dbus.conf in the zip.
as the remaining permissions then aren't set it could well be why the sensors and wifi etc don't play nicely.

I also dont get back to a recovery. i have root and tried installing dualrecovery again, but i can't enter the recovery to flash another zip.
has anyone an idea how i can flash again a correct zip, or get into the recovery ?
Hi everybody, we have root thanks to PRF method (here) but now we're facing some problems with xposed.
After flashing xposed components and installing xposed apk after every reboot phone is getting into bootloop or infinite boot. The only way currently to fix this is clearing cache and dalvik/ART cache at every reboot ! Following this the phone is making a very long time to boot (optimizations of the apps)....
We can use this thread for infos/discussion about xposed for our device.
Now we have an alternative solution thanks to @maris__ (here) and confirmed by @ondrejvaroscak (here).
To sum up, the solution is removing some useless apps for you until you don't see any bootloop
You can use my simple debloating script based on the one from @moly82 but with less apps removed, I guess useless ones :
Code:
/system/etc/customization/applications, [COLOR="Red"]contain gameloft apps and linkedin[/COLOR]
/system/etc/product/content, [COLOR="Red"]contain demo video files[/COLOR]

look here:
In case you get into a boot loop:
First, try using the safemode by pressing any hardware key repeatedly. You can find a short explanation how it works here.
If that doesn't work, you can flash the attached Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip by Tungstwenty. It will be copied to your (external) SD card when you install Xposed as well. The only thing it does is copying /system/bin/app_process.orig back to /system/bin/app_process, which you can also do yourself (e.g. with adb shell in recovery mode).

I have Xposed works well and I'm not deodexed
I did this : I created my own PRF 14.5.A.0.242 Customized FR with the dualrecovery in version 2.8.10
I flashed it. First boot.
Then, I reboot in recovery and Wipe Cache and davilk, flash this files from this topic.
Reboot into system, Install the .apk of Xposed for Lollipop
Reboot again in recovery and just flash the .zip of Xposed
And now, no bootloop after each reboot

;.. But many apps can be replaced (for example : File Commander)
After reading all z2\z3 lollipop-xposed topics, I found that the bootloop is caused by some system apk (that's why debloating\deodexing helps - it removes\replaces that apk), if we can narrow it down to a single apk, then we might find a source of an incompatibility, and then it can be fixed in the xposed itself.

I did the first step and got rooted Z2 D6503
The latest 5.1.1
Then followed the link to over here
Got some questions before I do this
My bootloader can not be unlocked
And if I install this recovery
What are the things I should never do??
I mean what is diffrent from unlocked bootloader?
Does it mean I have some kind of restrictions and unlocked bootloader not?
Or can I do all what they flash? Custom rom or kernel flash??
Please explain
Thanks
EDIT 01:
Just want to let you guys know I got just TWRP installed and it is working
on LB Z2 D5603 ..
But just to let you know
If you rooted with this method like I did
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...ndroid-5-1-t3253878/post63966710#post63966710
I can not remove like it is written the kingroot
And when I installed busy box it got me some error like busybox seems to be already installed in diffrent location
And after few tries I ignorred it
Then I used the XZRecovery
Opened and clicked install but you must be carefull it ask for root from kingroot and I have not succesfully delted it like in the thread from the link
And for me kingroot does not have user grant permission
So it gave me error and asked me want to close or wait for XZRecovery to react..
And I clicked on wait and then came superSu and I grant the permission and it installed then
correctly
So dont be confused if it ask like that for grant permission
Happy flashing and please answer me the above question
What can I do or do I have restrictions with LB and this kind of TWRP
Thanks

First of all you need to know if you have locked or unlocked bootloader
That will define all of your steps and it is very important to know for future
flashing if you have LB or UB
The rest is very easy and if done right you can have twrp in 5 minutes
You just need to watch the you tube video from post #1 and follow the steps to get rooted
Then to install twrp go to the link given also in post #1 and then again follow the steps
If you are stuck on some of the steps belive me you have done something wrong
I had some problems with installing and rooting and had some bootloops
but I tried the steps few times
And than I saw it need to be the exact step and all the apps have to give the
results as shown in video on you tube
Try it and let us all know how you are doing....we can all help

Just enter to twrp recovery mode click install section, click install image section on right bottom side, and navigate to where is twrp img that you already downloaded, and thick button on recovery option (make sure not to choose wong section other than thick recovery button), then flashed, next restart to enter to boot recovery one again.

That's exactly what I did, but didn't work. Guess I'll flash it with fastboot.

Yes you can, just rename the downloaded file to twrp.img
Thanks for this version! The other twrps indeed are not working with aroma installers.

For some reason I can't install the latest materialiazed 3.1.0.0 via the flash image in twrp. It installs, but the theme is the standard, not like in the screenshots. I didn't tried the fastboot method as I'm lazy.
Thanks bro.. i'll try this!!

Maybe the question sounds stupid but why it is not allowed to flash update.zip ( TWRP inside ) with original Lenovo recovery ?

To prevent twrp ask for code security, use second line when you wanna create security, if twrp ask code security, remove your security first and create new one like above

Finally flyme 6.0 beta official is released
link :- http://www.flyme.cn/firmwarelist-76.html#8
i just install this flyme 6.0 beta...seems to be great...dont know yet if it could be used as a daily...feedback later...thanks
So any reviews?
My review for the previous version of flyme 6, was this:
"Just flashed.. Great animations, graphics, sounds and a unique feeling in general.
BUT! This rom asks for every single app for internet and location permissions! from calendar to gallery and notes, in music app and so on.. And if you don't to give permissions there is only an "exit" option and you can't use the app! Maybe it's safe but it seems to me a little shady.
There are many chinese apps preinstalled which explains the size of the rom.
Furthermore some notifications are in chinese and you can't understand what they say.
I flashed opengapps after flashing the rom with no success, so I used a google installer from their store and it worked just fine..
Photos from the camera are stretched and Gallery doesn't show anything as mentioned..
wifi/bluetooth/data works fine."
(I don't know if any of these changed in this version)

Yes, it worked perfectly on twrp 3.0.2-2 bluespark v41.
try flashing any other ROM or try downloading the ROM again.
Check if you can access the downloaded ROM files in winRAR or any zip extractor.

I guess this ROM is for old boot loader.
How are y'all finding the ROM? How stable is it?
EDIT: I just flashed it and I really hate it. Prefer to use stock android

Got a workaround just unmount system and then flash.
