in the next release specially when Android 7(Nougat) will available, developers should add some option on Huawei p9 lite.
1. Call Recorder option at "Calling Option"
2. Sound Mixture option at "Music"
3. Gesture Option (like as: double tap to screen wake up, Drag on scree to go to application, like C for Camera. etc...
4. OTG option( btw, may be it's a hardware function, it wouldn't be, if it is a software function, then developers should add this.)
5. Gyroscope Option.

Hey guys!! since the last google app update bringing google assistant i've got error saying "Camera Recorder is currently recording audio. com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox:interactor will not be able to record right now" message when recording video.. same happens if i try to video call with viber or skype. And when i searched in google the only solution i found was to disable ok google from anywhere but i like this feature a lot and i am using this feature a lot.. so is there any other method to fix this error??
Same issue...
Work around for the same issue on Honor 7
I was facing the same issue on my Honor 7. We can completly avoid this issue by disabling the 'From any screen' but I still wanted to use this feature from any screen. Here is a simple workaround to achieve it:
1. Disable the 'From any screen' from the Google now ->Settings->voice->'Ok Google' detection
2. Make use of the 'Smart Key' available on Honor 7(Assuming it is availavle on P9 lite as well). I assigned 'Voice Search' app on long pressing of Smart Key. To assign 'Voice Search' app to long press follow these steps: Go to Settings->Smart Assistance->Smart Key->Press and hold->select Open App->select 'Voice Search' from the list.
Voila! now you can press and hold the Smart Key to do the voice search from any screen without interfering with any other app. Icing on cake, you don't even need to say 'Ok Google'
Many would have noticed a system app called "Factory Mode" in stock FW. And I have been trying many codes but could never enter factory mode. An app from Google Store does the trick easily.
An app called "Shortcut Master (Lite)" can be used to test many functions of sub devices in Le Max 2 as below:
1. Install the above said app from Google Play Store.
2. Open the app and the first page shows some mini details about how to use it.
3. Touch on the 3 vertical dots on right top. It provides a list of options like "Secret Code Explorer", "App Explorer", etc.
4. Select "Search" and at the bottom where it says "Enter text to search" type "factory" - case does not matter.
5. The app will search and show list of apps with "factory" as part of keyword.
6. Select "FactoryMode" - com.letv.factory.MainActivity. Three options will pop up. Select "Launch".
7. It will popup another screen with multiple options to run tests in Chinese and English.
WARNING: Do not touch second button with Chinese caption on column one below -SUB_MMI button. It will force factory reset without any warning.
8. 4 of the buttons are in Chinese and 4 are in English.
SUB_MMI - Option 1 processes auto sequential testing up to proximity sensor if I am right.
Option 2 tests LCD - for colors, intensity, side buttons, navigation button. Only back could be tested as Home and Menu behaves exactly like they are.
Third button in Chines opens a list of all sub devices and the selection options are in English.
SL_MMI - Touching this opens up another screen and the second button inscribed in Chinese pops up another list of tests in English.
Please explore.
All navigation buttons work all the time as defined and hence test mode can be exit at any time.
I do not know if Finger Print test exists and if yes where.
Hope someone who knows Chinese find out and post a detailed post. And I do hope it helps a few who wonder how to check if certain sub are working or not.
And a BIG thanks to the developer "vndnguyen" for his work on "Shortcut Master".
Just like a smartphone, a connected Android watch also has developer options. These are indispensable for who wants to root his watch (yes, this may have a usefulness, but it is another debate). So here's the simple way to access this new menu.
In reality, you do not have to break your head too much. The technique is the same as on all current phones, since Google decided, it is not clear why to hide this menu (perhaps to avoid possible manipulation errors that could disturb the user experience).
01- you must first go into the setting menu of your watch. Under Android Wear, a double tap on the screen should show you a menu. Parameters is the first choice.
02- Then go to the About submenu and tap 7 times the version number. The operating system will then warn you that there are only two then one touch to activate the menu "Options for developers".
03- Once that is done. Return to settings and you will have, at the bottom, this famous menu.
04- Among the useful options you can find 'Leave enabled during charging', 'Bluetooth monitoring connection' and 'ADB debugging'. This option must be activated if you want to inject something into the watch, for example, to root a smartwatch Android Wear.
Note that after activating this new menu, it is possible that a white slider (a small circle) appears constantly under your finger. Do not worry, it's normal!.
You can disable it by going to the developer menu and disabling "Show Selected Items"
It is the only subtlety of the thing. For the rest, your watch will under no circumstances be modified by the addition of this new menu.
If you ever make a return to the default factory configuration, your developer menu will need to be re-enabled unless you use a custom Android Wear ROM.
I think this method is not working in all the version of the smartwatch.
In Android wear 2.0, there is a different method to enable developer mode.
Attached is a screenshot from two years old phone (Huawei Mate 9), also with Android 9 - showing four options for Google Smart (un)lock.
Newest MIUI 11.0.3.0 Global provides only one option, unlocking based on the recognized Bluetooth device (second screenshot)
Do EU MIUI ROMs properly support Smart (un)lock, particularly unlocking based on trusted/home location?
In fact, I have received notification, while I was at home, do I want to turn on Smart (un)lock at Trusted places.
So I opened, and confirmed my home location - but after that it still doesn't work, I have to unlock by finger (or face or pin), it doesn't unlock just on swipe when at home (and there is nowhere a setting for Smart unlock at Trusted places, that I can double-check if home location was correctly saved)
Even more confusing, in the morning there was again Smart (un)lock notification, telling that phone was locked after 4 hours of inactivity
So kind of, Smart unlock is (partially) in the ROM, but without settings and not working - probably Xiaomi did not properly remove it when leaving only Unlock with Bluetooth device option

Note: Please don't tell us how easy it is to change launchers in default apps, that has not been possible since EMUI 9 for chinese roms, see > https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...i-9-removes-default-launcher-options-t3853441
WARNING:RECENT APPS MENU WILL STOP WORKING
All credits to Web1n on Github for figuring out this method.
Here is official guide in chinese
App download on Google Play
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=web1n.stopapp&hl=zh
Steps:
(Note that this method needs to be repeated every restart)
- Install the custom launcher of your choice and ensure it is the only launcher installed other than Huawei home
- Install and setup adb on your computer
- Enable developer options on your phone
- Turn on adb debugging and adb in charge only mode
- Make sure your device is on usb charge only mode
- Install the app from link above
(note i am using a Samsung for screenshots as I don't want to mess up my main Huawei, but I got it working there through the same steps)

After installing app tap the right arrow until this page, tick the box to agree to TOS

Tick second box
https://imgur.com/a/dKxEZwm
Tap right and you will be greeted with this home screen, tap the plus arrow
https://imgur.com/a/j1SzlFX
Tap second tab to look for system apps, find the app huawei home
https://imgur.com/a/3GgZfSA
Return to this screen, you will see the Huawei home icon, ensure it is greyed out, tap it if it is not so.
Done! Gesture navigation will no longer work but an app like fluid gestures work well enough, enable 3 button navigation in options and tap home to enjoy your new launcher. Your multotasking button has also just become useless...
Again, all credits goes to the developer

unfortunately yes, huawei even went to the step of removing old vertical overview menu so that the only overview menu in these buklds comes from the launcher
Recent apps stopped working for me when I updated to EMUI 10 then downgraded because of this and now it works on EMUI 9. Thanks for this, was going mad for 3 days because I couldn't disable the stock launcher even though my phone is rooted.
For those now missing Recents : Swiftly is a circular gesture activated app launcher with its own Recents
I now have "Tap for Recents"
You can place Swiftly with a surface area (over where the middle icon would be on the dock) for activation on the bottom center. You can then tap or tap-hold for recents.
Make sure the middle position there on the dock is empty, so it doesn't have an app icon or folder. Make the rectangle big enough to activate Swiftly, but small enough not to overlap with selecting the input field of WhatsApp, Messenger, ...
In my Nova 5T I also lost swipe up for home (anyone else?) When I uninstalled the default launcher. So I use Fluid Natural Gestures for all of the bottom to swipe up for home.
The two overlay areas of these apps overlap but for me don't interfere with each other. You can also enable "immediate activation" in both for nice swift operation.
(I could choose between Nova and Default Launcher in Emui 10, I'm in Europe. But removed default because regularly it would switch back to Default Launcher)
Update: has stopped working
Feel free to still try as it seems to be different builds for everybody
.
