Light Painting Camera on p8 lite

Hello guys
I've installed Chinese Marshmallow update on my p8 lite ale_l21
the stock camera includes Light painting mode ( it was awesome ),
but i couldn't continue with that
firmware because it 70% based on Chinese language , also it does not support google play services ..
So i flashed my p8 lie and upgraded to euro marshmallow , i found this update not includes light painting camera or drive mode ( which has been included in Chinese marshmallow) ,,
I think if we could port (camera app) from the Chinese marshmallow for p8 lite we can flash it to p8 lite runs euro marshmallow via adb or root
Any developer can port it for us ?

You actually replied to your own post after 12 minutes because no one else replied? lol
You better have some more patience. I'm using the Chinese Firmware as well and I removed all the unavailable Huawei Stuff and also removed the Huawei start and exchanged it with nova launcher prime. Also, I flashed the Gapps so Play Store is actually working. There's no more chinese stuff that shows up, that's why you don't have to wait for a port and if you insist on the port, except for begging for it you could just do it yourself.

Hi, i want to install huawei p8 lite as you did without chines language but need help as i m not pro in doing... but ill follow your guide if you could let me have step by step... really appreciated.

Okay so what is your Firmware Version and are you rooted and is your bootloader unlocked?

You can try sokkoban's Modded B574 Rom, it has light painting feature with twrp pre-installed and rooted. Plus other advantages too

Anyone has ported light painting camera for other firmwares.

the pro mode can do the same, just use correct timing

P8 Lite Supports OTG ?

i think i was reading somewhere that it doesnt support it, but im not sure, however, P8 supports it so there is a big chance that it will work, otg adapter cost me about 1,50€ so you can try it

thanks but now i didn't have the phone i need otg so i have choice with P8 Lite or Honor 5 or Grand prime

Not supported on the P8 Lite unfortunately.
Tried & failed: [OTG] usb flash memory stick
Probably not possible even with an updated, customised rom - from: What you want from a future aosp ROM for ours P8 Lite?

No problem, I was going to suggest to use the OTG method to flash in your other thread, but when I found it's not supported in this phone I didn't post.
I'll post another possible fix there in the next few minutes...

Can you make usb otg work on p8 lite original room? it would be great feature for me to use my Fiio q1 dac on my phone,,some guys say usb otg work perfecly on twrp but it doesnt work on room itself,,

Did you get OTG working on TWRP ? which Andriod Version and TWRP version do you have .
If possible share the links .
Actually we are trying to get OTG working but cant get succeed and also can you share some screen shots?
If you have rooted your device and have some experience on editing build prop then following the guide from https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/how-to-enable-otg-multi-window-eye-t3594001 and check whether you got any success
PS: Don't copy paste type them manually.

Stock Android ROM

Is there any chance anybody will do a stock Android ROM for the P10 Lite? I prefer it to the included version of Android.

I will soon publish service firmware Huawei P10 Lite WAS-***. If someone needs any particular version, write me in private messages.

i dont know if i need that exact rom.. i have found some similar versions: WAS-LX2C706B120
WAS-LX2C185B121
do you think they would work? and it would be awesome if you could source my exact firmware rom.. or if you could help me with my thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/help-twrp-backups-t3726542
